I’ve Been using “Chime” for about 4 months and love it and just got my “Lili” card in the mail. Immediately it linked to my Apple Pay and was able to deposit. Something chime is unable to do. Chime will let you deposit but not instantly takes 2-3 Business days. But lili went instantly so I’m very happy about that! Used it at a couple stores and was able to itemize what I bought into categories, since I own a business it’ll be extremely helpful to instantly be able to see when I spent things personally vs for the company! A definite plus! So far I’m extremely happy, can’t complain! To top it off there covered and backed by a bigger bank so your money is absolutely insured up to $250,000!! That’s awesome, that’s just like any normal bank... WITHOUT the headache of going into a bank and giving them this and that info sitting and waiting for a half hour, talking to someone, waiting for your debit to print and an hour later you Can finally leave with your account. So I can honestly say I 100% (so far .. will update in a month) would recommend this card to anyone. Especially just to have another account for savings or personal spending! Grab yours now!

Do not use Lili they will steal your money
I transferred 100 dollars from my husbands account to mine so I can start using what I thought would be a good freelancer account. Well little to my knowledge you can not transfer money from another account that is not in your name. Ok no problem. But there was a problem, they took the 100 dollars out of my husbands account immediately and never gave me the funds into my Lili account neither did they put the money back in my husbands account. So trying to figure out what was going on I called Lili customer service number and was told three different things by three different representatives which neither of them could help me recover my funds. Now I’m in the process with my husbands bank on disputing the funds transfer so that I can retract the disbursement by an attempt to get my husbands money back to him. Hopefully they do not dispute the dispute. We will see but overall I can not trust a company with my money who is going to act like there is nothing they can do fir you when they take your money and it disappears in thin air. Do not use them if you have a discrepancy they will NOT resolve it for you. You will be left to figure it out for yourself. To make matters worse the lady representative I spoke with had a serious attitude with me like I stole her money. Just don’t use Lili. I recommend Chime and Varo. I have never had a problem with them helping me or them taking my money
Always has bugs in the beginning
So I’m a freelancer and have been with Chime PayPal Venmo cash app and many more cards. I am tired of paying a monthly fee so I came across Lily and got it. No fees like chime PayPal & Venmo so huge plus in my book! Let alone they help do the financial stuff like taxes and separated from business to personal expenses!! Down fall is if I got paid in cash and went to the store to do a cash load I was unable to do so at Dollar General and Family Dollar!! Do you know how frustrating that’s been that I’ve had to put the money on a different account cause for some reason the store one day was able to take my card to load it to telling me the next day that they can’t because it’s saying declined or card not available or inactive account?!?! I haven’t been able & haven’t tried since April so 8 months now I haven’t even tried. I wanted the card with easy access and better banking. So I hope this has or will be fixed so I can use my account again!!
Lili Made My Life Easier
I absolutely LOVE Lili. My boyfriend and I run our own businesses so when he found Lili I immediately jumped to getting it! I didn’t want to go the traditional route with getting a business bank account at Wells Fargo or Bank of America so this saved me all the hassle and it was SUPER quick to set up. I also have my own business debit card that they send you and anytime I make a business transaction I’m instantly able to categorize it as a work expense in the app as well as see my yearly tax savings! It feels good finally having my personal income and business income separated! Highly recommend this for someone who is running a small business and just needs something quick and efficient to operate their business expenses!

I’ve already written a review of Lili prior to this one, but I’m writing another one here to share something that people will want to know about Lili’s customer support. A few minutes ago, I emailed Lili’s customer support with a question about my account. With pretty much any other company, you get an email acknowledging their receipt of your email, usually saying something like “We’ll get back to you when we can!” or “Expect a reply within 3–5 business days.” Lili does thing differently! Their policy is actually to make sure you get a response within 3 HOURS! Can’t beat that, right?!
Lili is THE BEST
My Lili account is literally the BEST banking experience I have ever had in my life. They have always been very accommodating if I have any sort of dilemma, which have always come from something to do with my own self-inflicted issue ( i.e. changing my email, phone number, or billing address). It’s usually involving a change I need to make to my log in information in order to log into my account. I absolutely LOVE the tax-bucket option, I think it’s phenomenal, and has been super helpful to me. They’ve seemed to have a steady flow of improvements in the app and give you a timeframe of when to expect an upcoming feature. 5 out of 5 stars on Lili, without a doubt!
Best Bank Account I’ve ever had hands down.
Lili is like a breath of fresh air, they don’t have any tricks up their sleeves like the traditional banks. I’ve never had to worry about overdraft fees, my money always comes before I’m even expecting it. I love how I can freeze my card to stop transactions I may have forgotten to cancel. There are no ways to deposit money physically and no checks, but who really uses them anymore? Lili is compatible with your Cash App, Venmo, Square and Zelle accounts for fast receipt of your money, I really appreciate a business account and bank that treats me fairly. If you are in the market for a business bank account Lili is more than exceptional.
Never been happier with a debit card like this before
This card is Amazing! The Lili card helps me with my business tax savings. It keeps my purchases separate you can choose if your purchase was life related or work related. The new cash deposits is just what I was waiting on. The customers asked for that feature and Lili delivered. The several free ATM are all over nationwide. I travel a lot and I’m always blocks or 1 mile away from one of the free fee ATM’s. This card is hands down the best card to have for freelancers. Thanks Lili Card this is just the type of card a lot of us freelancers have been waiting on.
Great banking app!
I’m honestly really glad I found this awesome freelance bank. I just wish it worked with some of my finances apps - the main bank company isn’t recognized by a lot of finance apps that use Plaid to integrate. But regardless, it’s so useful for freelancers and the tax bucket is a great way to save a little towards your taxes throughout the year. I really appreciate how much this bank cares for it’s customers, especially during this COVID times, the bank has constantly sent me useful articles by email and nothing but helpful info specific for independent contractors. Definitely recommend!!!
Everything a freelancer needs in one place
Lili has really made managing my finances as a freelancer so much easier. I love being able track my business expenses in the same place I keep track of my money - makes thing so easy come tax time and I’m sure I’m saving money because no deduction is slipping through the cracks. Not having to keep a minimum balance is also a lifesaver - as any freelancer knows, some months are just better than others. I wish Lili existed years ago.
I’ll update this review if they ever get back to me, but at the moment this may be the worst customer service I’ve received for pretty much any service (let alone a banking one that has my money). I usually ignore 1 star reviews but now I’ll start taking them seriously. Lili said they have shipped my card but it never arrived. Checked my address and it was correct. So I asked them to cancel that one if it was a postal mistake because I know it’s not their fault, but I never got confirmation they actually cancelled it. I got back to them telling them that it is the correct address and I got no response. Now I have to reach out again and start the process all over. Keep in mind it has been one full month and they cannot even ship my card. Probably cancelling this soon if there even is a way to do it.
I only had one wish and it was already granted
I was a little bit bummed to find out that I couldn’t transfer directly from Lili to my personal bank, but I tried again a week or two later and they already had started supporting this feature! I am thrilled to be able to separate my business and personal finances for free! The last time I was able to do that was when I unfortunately was banking at Wells Fargo. Which I will never do again!
Card arrival date keeps changing
So far I’ve enjoyed Lili, especially the resources on the website for freelancers. But, I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever get my actual physical card. The steps for the card (as it says on the app) says “Embossing”,“Shipping”, and “Arrival” after everything is set up. My concern is that my card’s arrival date keeps getting further and further starting from January 16th, now to January 23rd as of 8:50pm, but it was on January 22nd at 9:00am this morning. Will I actually get my card? I like Lili so far and want to continue using it, but I’d feel more comfortable with a physical card in my wallet.
I’ve been using Lili since their pre-release registration... they have always been so reliable. I’ve never had an issue that prompted me to call customer service, and I use Lili as my primary bank. I switched from PNC because I hated thei fees!
