Modifying Review:

If you have a lot of pictures in your library, KODAKSMILE FEELS frozen as it sits there with no wait dialog or progress bar while it loads previews for what seems to be an egregious amount of time. Launch KODAKSMILE , put your phone down, get a cup of coffee, and when you return, it will (probably) have loaded your library and be ready for use.

However, I also was told in KODAKSMILE that my brand new printer needed a firmware update. I applied the update, it got to 100%, and then said “Update Failed” leaving the printer completely bricked to the point customer service said to return it to the seller.

Installed on iPhone 12 Pro. App freezes after connecting to printer. The one time I was able to get to the point I could print the picture it chose during setup, it said the printer was out of paper even though I had just loaded it, blue side down as requested. Completely fails.

Deleted and reinstalled app many times. Same result.

No wonder Kodak is a shell of its former self as a company… this is by far the worst printer and worst experience I’ve ever had trying to print something in my life. KODAKSMILE does not connect to the printer easily. It takes multiple steps multiple reboots and multiple attempts just to get the thing to connect. Printing is another issue all together sometimes it works most of the times it doesn’t. Multiple reboots re-connections to try and get it to print one picture.I wanted this printer to quickly print pictures do use as labels…But it would be faster if I drew the pictures myself. A total waste of money and time.

My auntie gave me paper and the printer and I love KODAKSMILE it helps and you can choose how many copies you want to make it’s awesome I love it and anyone else who is thinking about getting KODAKSMILE and the printer you will like it to I love love love it!

I received this as a gift, I was thrilled to get it and couldn’t wait to set it up and start printing. Downloading KODAKSMILE and connecting to the printer itself was a piece of cake but I couldn’t get it to print a photo! Finally, after a lot of frustration and a purchase of more zinc paper, I decided to download KODAKSMILE on my iPad.... VOILA..... I was finally able to print a couple of pictures! This definitely needs to be revamped.

So I love this thing.... when it works. I get it for my business to print up little pics and when it works it’s wonderful. However, it keeps crashing and freezing. I’ve tried to reinstall it six times now and I’m still having the same issues. So disappointed and I’m not sure I can use it if it doesn’t work reliably. 😓

I have 88,000 photos on my iPhone- KODAKSMILE works but it takes about 5 min to reindex my library every time KODAKSMILE loads. It tries to show all my albums upfront which it not helpful. I can’t browse to the album I want as KODAKSMILE is soooo slow. Otherwise this would be great...just fix this

I actually love KODAKSMILE and I love my camera but recently it’s been buggy with trying to print my pictures and won’t let me print any at all or it will say failed to connect, today it was saying server issue and wouldn’t let me open KODAKSMILE at all:/

Easy to use, this was so good, and It’s fast to. It did sort of make all of the photos a little pink, but overall It wasn’t that bad. 10/10

I’ve only printed out two pictures so far and I love it !!!

It is the worst thing it does not connect your when you try to print it all that comes out is a white piece of paper and said what it really needs to be the only thing that’s nice is that you can edit it but even then it doesn’t work I say don’t use it And don’t get the Kodak

The latest update of KODAKSMILE constantly logs me out. Every time I want to use it, I have to go through the log in process. Another huge disappointment is that they removed the simple white border for the prints — it was replaced by a massive white footer (supposed to resemble a Polaroid) that takes up 1/4” of blankness with the entire printable area.

It would improve printing quality

I was so excited to use my new printer. I suspect that the paper that came with the printer is old and won’t feed. It keeps jamming. I’ve ordered more paper that will be here in a few days. If it works with that, I’ll keep it. Otherwise I’m sending it back and getting the HP mini printer that I brought for my daughter.

I don’t know why it has to discover it each time nor why it takes so long to print. I expected better from Kodak, the camera ppl. :(

I have had this little printer for a few weeks. I have been able to print pics twice. TWICE! It will not connect. Very sad.
That was the first printer. I contacted Kodak and the replaced the printer. I received it yesterday. Charged it and nothing! This one will not connect. I’m so frustrated.

It works great and does its job, but it does have light coloration and Bluetooth connection issues. Overall, it’s worth the money!

The update to the Kodak Smile app has removed the option to import picture from my iPhone making the printer worthless. Until this is fixed, Will not be able to use my printer any longer. Very disappointed.

I’ve installed and reinstalled KODAKSMILE numerous times and it won’t stop freezing. Can’t use the printer at all without KODAKSMILE . Very bad program.

So I have my lil printer and I’m so excited to use it but I can sign up in KODAKSMILE because it says ‘you have entered an invalid email id or password.... I have an account tho please help!

It needs to have a better paper feed system. It took me over an hour of fussing to get my first picture. I like the quality.

I have to download pictures from my google photos in order to print - it won’t connect. It only loads 35 photos from my Instagram account, and it won’t work at all from my android phone.
