Not up to date

Backbone fire closures were not accurate and gave me two options to travel to Pine AZ even though both routes were closed.

Doesn’t update

App doesn’t update information in a timely manner. Example....101 closed at 10pm tonight for construction and it’s 11:07 and still says it’s open. Couple months ago I checked app to see if I17 was clear up north. It showed open but a fire had closed it 2 hours earlier. The Waze app updates faster.

Crap compared to the website

The AZ551.gov website clearly illustrates the entire section of road closures. 511Arizona however just shows the POINT of the closure. Unless you zoom in and separate grouped notifications to find the POINT of the closure it’s impossible to determine if a section of roadway is open or closed. Literally the most helpful potential of 511Arizona , missed.

This app is not updated for road closures

The Arizona fires have closed roads and yet 511Arizona is taking me on a route that is closed. The Camp Verde 260 exit on the I17 has been closed for several days and yet that’s the route 511Arizona is taking me.

I road trip in AZ and 511Arizona is ok. I use an iPad on my dash and Utah’s app is far better.

Great app for planning my daily commute and getting updates when traffic is out of control. I really like that it has future special events and construction.

Love that the new ADOT 511 site is mobile-responsive, but 511Arizona takes that to another level. It’s already essential to my daily life.

Good info but has a couple of issues

Lots of info on 511Arizona but there are three issues preventing a 5 star rating. 511Arizona will not allow signing on to My511. I can sign in on the website but not 511Arizona . Many of the rural cameras are not well maintained. These are often in areas where the info is most important. Info such as message boards is available on the website but not on 511Arizona .
