This new app is clunky, some functions do not work properly, and requires additional input to access. Old version was so much better, why not update that one instead of trying to reinvent the wheel? This app needs help, ASAP! Edit to Response: The only reason I have these issues is due to updating my phone to the latest version, forcing me to download the new app, as the update locked me out of the old app. Some things seem to work better now, but not having access to some part of the app because of “security reasons” is just plain stupid. You’re forcing people to do something, regardless of intentions, to use your product. That’s like a customer going through the drive-thru bank and having them get out of their vehicle to use the machine. Clearly with a sub 2 star rating this new app is not working for y’all, and if something doesn’t change I’ll probably end up moving institutions after 14yrs. Petty, maybe… but an app shouldn’t be this difficult, or difficult to realize there is an issue.

Seems the app is working slightly better now, minus the need to remind the system who I am, via a security question, every time I log in. I do find it very odd that this app’s rating went from 1.9 stars to where it is today in not much time at all, especially when not much has changed with the app, a bit fishy.

Why make us switch to this app and lock us out of the old app when the new one doesn’t offer all of the features of the old one? Please bring back the ability to see credits and debits separately within one balance. On the old app I could easily see all of the credits to my checking account (while hiding the debits) by pressing one button. This really helps me track my pay and I am very sad this feature is gone. We should have been able to access the old app until the new one was complete. Mobile banking is very important these days and changing the app we use is a critical blow to how we interact with our bank. Especially for us folks out of state. Please consider making some changes that bring us closer to the older format. I understand needing to move forward, but the new app feels like a step backwards in functionality. I have already read through your troubleshooting guide on the website and it didn’t answer my questions. Thank you for reading.

This app is overall a step backwards. Other than looking a little dated, the old app was easy to use and did everything you could ask for. Nothing was out of place or non-functional.
The fact that I can’t even access messages or profile settings without having a screen lock enabled is ridiculous. It is not your responsibility to mandate the security of my phone.
Mobile deposit is terrible. It takes multiple tries to get an acceptable photo of checks. I never had issues with this feature in the old app. Unfortunately I still have a need to take checks from customers, so this is a pretty important feature that is now just annoying to use.
The menu at the bottom is terrible and the square bulky buttons just make it look very juvenile. Add in no widget and limited watch functionality and I am not impressed. Overall a let down. With such a low rating why would the leadership at RBFCU move forward with this without making the vendor they hired to build this fix what people are complaining about?
Might be time to find another FI.
