The new app update makes reconciling an account to any outside accounting software a nightmare. The old style was a quick look and see it all, the new style only shows date at the top, so you have to scroll up to see what the date on payment is, the pending and cleared charges are all mixed up and make reconciling checking accounts horrible... the best thing that can happen to this app update is they re-release their archived app and go back to the way it was. The new app may be okay for someone that uses the app without keeping track of their money and just wants a snapshot of their account, but if you like to track your account with multiple card holders (wife, kids, etc.), then the way the app is made is horrible. I think I am going to have to log into the website, print the ledger, and then highlight to mark off each item during reconciling process the old fashioned way. Horrible!

I had tens of thousands of dollars in my account that I was using to run my business. At one point, I made a deposit of about a couple thousand from a bank via a check. The status of my account at the other bank had changed with my knowledge, so the check didn’t clear. Suddenly, central bank’s fraud department flagged my account and froze it. No one told me. I couldn’t log in and was confused. I had to contact several representatives to figure out what was going on. Instead of unfreezing my account, they told me they’ll close it and that they would hold on to several thousand dollars of my money for a month before closing out entirely, even though I did nothing wrong. I was livid. I’ve never been so disrespected.

While this app is simple and easy to use, i hate the algorithm with a burning passion. After a certain point of “suspicious purchases,” it locks you out of your checking account. While I can understand this is a security measure to prevent fraud and the like, there have been way too many instances where I have been out to purchase something (I don’t carry cash on me) and I have been unable to use my account when the money is in my checking CLEAR AS DAY. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED OR OPTIONAL. Each “purchase” that has been deemed suspicious has been made by myself alone and I’m tired of having it read back to me through customer service. It also happens when it’s CONVENIENTLY a holiday or a weekend, so calling customer service is useless until the start of the weekday.
