Shuffle Photos Reviews

I use ShufflePhotos without paying for anything, and it’s really decent for what it us. It does slideshows of your photo album, as intended, and I can appreciate you not hiding that base feature behind a paywall after downloading ShufflePhotos .

The few critiques I have, however, are the following.

1. Add speed settings below 1 that goes to 0.1 for full customizability. I use ShufflePhotos exclusively while listening to music on my earbuds, and it always bugs me when it’s juuust not fast enough to match the tempo.

2. Add a beat match/sync setting so that it automatically plays at the same exact rate of the music tempo you’re listening to in the background. I don’t know how that would work, but… You’re smart, you can figure it out!

And pretty please with a cherry on top DO NOT lock this feature (assuming you add it) behind a paywall. There’s already enough excellent features you have locked behind it, so at least make the beat match/sync setting free for peasants like me.

It works perfectly just as described but i would love if videos could work on it too. it could just play the video once then move on to the next slide. plzzz make this available then i’ll give 5 stars! 🤩

It's a good app, yes. But the fact that you're telling us that being able to use other sliding features is free for now until the future is not very good design. Also, do we REALLY need an in app payment to go back to the previous photo? Is that really necessary?

I like ShufflePhotos well enough that I bought the paid version. That said couple of gripes: No way to adjust the slideshow timer or transition settings without ending and restarting the slideshow. No way to tell how far you are through the slideshow or how many pictures are left. No way to open a particular photo in an editor or in Photos from ShufflePhotos (not sure if this is possible, but the other points on slideshow progress and adjusting settings without ending slideshow could definitely be programmed in).

Would like to bump rating to five stars if these points are addressed. Very nice one-touch feature.

Love ShufflePhotos . Use it for doing slideshows over airplay of both photos and videos. So far I haven’t been able to get sound working either locally or with airplay.

Hello…ShufflePhotos has gotten better…thanks…My purpose for getting ShufflePhotos was to run an uninterrupted photo slide show from my albums, however recently ,advertisements have been ruining everything…There was a in app option to purchase freedom from ads…I no longer see this option. It took me a very long time to find app, which was perfect …Please advise…Thanks…

ShufflePhotos is completely fine. I just wish there was support for the Files app and the folders we may have in there with images and video. I would give 5/5 for that!

This is easily one of my most cherished and frequently used apps! However, as of today it has started simply saying "No phots" any time I open ShufflePhotos . This is a laughable idea - I have 14,081 photos!! What's going on?

This is exactly what i was looking for an app that brings back the option of shuffling photos from my camera roll if you have a lot of pictures on your camera roll you must get ShufflePhotos i highly recommend it.

I’m so thrilled to finally be able to shuffle photos in a slideshow, since that is not available in iOS photos. ShufflePhotos works great. it’s a bonus that you can favorite or unfavorite a photo you see during the slideshow.

Absolutely love all the features that are being put in. I used to use a lg tablet with an app called gallery365 and it gave an option to shuffle all photos gifs and even videos. I don't know how hard it would be but it would amazing to have video features that let the whole video play and then shuffle to gifs and pictures at normal times intervals put from settings. My whole media life would be Complete if given that feature. Either way, I absolutely love ShufflePhotos.

Easy to use the settings, does exactly what I was looking for. Slideshows can play both photos and videos, shuffling them all, making my iPad a perfect digital photo/video frame when I’m not using it. Thank you!

Like ShufflePhotos very much, however when I run slide show thru AirPlay to my Apple TV4, which is then connected to my wide screen (16:9) Sony TV, the horizontal photos are squeezed in size, it seems ShufflePhotos sends out
photos to a 6:4 TV, is there a way to configure ShufflePhotos so that its output is 16:9?

I tried all three Underscan settings (Auto/On/Off) of my Apple TV4, none of them seem to work and the problem persist. Looking forward to a future update of ShufflePhotos .

Does pretty much everything I hoped it would! Main bit of feedback I have for the dev, it would be a good idea to include the slideshow config options in the outermost settings screen, next to “speed upper limit” and such, to make it easier to find.

iPhone used to shuffle photos in its slideshow but at some point stopped. This is a great alternative. It’s simple and does what I want. The only thing I wish it had was a repeat function so I don’t have to restart slideshows. Would recommend.
Update: ShufflePhotos was recently updated and now has a repeat function. Bumped up the rating as ShufflePhotos now does everything I want it to do.

I really like ShufflePhotos and appreciate the work that’s gone into developing it. It’s easy to use and being able to shuffle albums into slideshows on the fly is super nice. The UI is easy to use and navigate. The one feature I would love in ShufflePhotos would be to have a pan and zoom (Ken Burns) effect/transition for the slideshow function. Overall, I highly recommend ShufflePhotos !

This only applies to the iPad version of ShufflePhotos . My phone app works fine. Both the share icon, and the share option under the 3 dot menu doesn’t not work. This happened sometime within the last update or two.

Update: developer responded saying they made the fix. The share function now works! I’ve updated my review to 5 stars! Great customer service
