I had originally given a 5 star rating but had to come back and drop it to a 3. The ease of use is awesome! Not frustrating to figure out like most! Your options for editing are nice. BUT your choice of music really just DOES NOT go with many themes of a video I’d like to make! The titles you carry actually resonate confusion with me as to what they really would theme with. But lastly-and what changed my rating,upon adding my photos,I noticed that every other 3-4 pics,they were horribly blurred! I thought maybe after completion of project they would download better...I was wrong! That was enough to cause me to uninstall

I love StoryWave when it works for me but don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I just want to make a slideshow with videos, pictures/Live Photo’s together but it doesn’t work. It will flip through my photos but the minute it gets to a Live Photo or video, it plays it but then stops after that and doesn’t continue sliding through the rest? Why? I love it when it does what I want, but hate when it gives me such a headache and doesn’t work. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤔 I’m so confused 🤦🏻‍♀️

I downloaded it a few hours ago and had a plan for a short story video. Everything works amazing, but after spending time editing, cutting, effects etc it takes a long time. Which is no problem, editing takes awhile. But..if I exit, the entire video gets corrupted and I can no longer view it or edit it. It's just a black screen. I tried saving throughout editing hoping that may fix the problem, but alas, I go back to edit some more and the video is completely dead.
Kind of frustrating, because the layout of StoryWave is great. Super easy to understand, lots of different things you can do. But if my projects all get corrupted then I simply can't use it...

StoryWave is ok but any time you add music it doesn’t save. I got a videos to save without music but as soon as a song was added I couldn’t get past 40% with out an error message saying “try again” I spent over an hour trying all the file size options (without the one you have to pay for) and nothing if you don’t need music on your videos StoryWave is ok… but if you do don’t use StoryWave

I love everything about StoryWave except for the poor video resolution. I paid for StoryWave , and I use the 4K resolution which is the best quality they offer. But the final result is still slightly blurry. It is disappointing because I’ve made some awesome videos but then I don’t end up sharing because the quality is just not clear enough. Hopefully this will improve soon or I won’t be renewing my membership.

StoryWave had amazing potential. It works when it wants to, but majority of the time it keeps crashing, making you have to start your project over from scratch. It does get aggravating. If the developers would fix this then I would definitely go to pro version. However I’m not going to spend big money on something that keeps crashing big time.

Hey. I saw this editing app and I wanted to try it out. So far everything is pretty good for the free parts but I think you should add at least one edge effect free because some of the others have a free effect and i think edge should be one of them. Thanks in advanced

You can make a nice project here but saving it is always a problem especially if your using the speed effect! Has been a week of back and forth with the company and nothing! I’m paying for literally nothing because my projects won’t save! So I have nothing but a raging headache from trying over n over again to save this project that won’t save.

I tried Splice, I liked except it was not easy to undo music fade volume . Tried iMovie, good but, no way to set the screen size. This one is pretty good and kind of a combo of both. Some of the items could be more intuitive like setting screen size up front and zooming in on videos. Overall not hard to use and lots of music options. I would recommend trying it.

To everyone who put time into StoryWave, THANK YOU MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!! I’ve been trying to find an app that’s simple enough to not need the tutorial but regardless lol might go pro with you guys so many filters love how I can put titles and i am able to trim and change the styles of my titles for a video, can select multiple videos to make one whole! So many good things to say HATS OFF TO YOU GUYS, I don’t normally do reviews but as a young independent artist I love to reciprocate the energy and time so 5 stars for you guys I appreciate your hard work!!!

I’m up early in the morning trying to figure out how to get my work out on a bigger scale.... I only played around once to make a video... perfection already, I really hope StoryWave stays and/or doesn’t mess up, because this is exactly what I need.

This has SOOO many options when it comes to effects and song choices (with and without lyrics) !
I’m very impressed. I did the free trial but I’m definitely going to purchase the subscription. It’s exactly what I need to make my videos for my IG feed.🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Text- Doesnt let me add text on top and bottom of a video- only 1 placement.

I want to layer audio: 1 song in background + record my own voice over the video

Ratios can be a bit weird because it doesn’t really let me zoom in on a video. There’s only 2 settings. But this may not be a huge thing I guess.

I use it mainly to make my story videos cool + add filter for IGTV. I like how it lets me add music and stitch multiple videos together, add music and even text.

I really enjoy using StoryWave for different projects: recipe videos, family adventures, poetry and music videos (you can upload your own music.) The different effects make videos & pictures interesting to watch and the one thing that I love is that the final result doesn’t lose quality and looks clear on the social media platforms I use.

Today (June 16th) is my 30th birthday; stumbling upon this app is the most epic gift. This is the first time in my 30 yrs I’ve closed an app because I NEEDED to leave the 5 star review and I have a master’s in IT. I’d given up on iPhone video apps because every single last one outside of this app is literal garbage. I just added about $800 worth of effects to a music video I cut up by pressing a button, that’s called magic you’re a wizard Harry take all my money k thank youuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello. I want to say StoryWave is great but I did subscribe for a monthly subscription just to see how it goes and now u received an apple receipt for an annual subscription. Hope you can fix the issue. Apart from that StoryWave has cool effects. However export video is in very slow quality

This WOULD be a great app if it actually saved the video to your phone. It continuously gives an error message saying, “Oops, your video didn’t save” Well, why? It has great potential and lots of effects, but this will make me cancel my subscription if it’s not resolved quickly.

As a professional video editor I never thought I would love an iphone app editor as much as I love this app but it really does the job and makes it so easy and flexible. I cant tell you how easy it has been to create amazing IG stories now.

My first edit was very easy and fast. It took no longer than 3 minutes. I enjoyed making my first edit on StoryWave. I would recommend it if you are into editing.

I downloaded it and immediately started editing a couple short clips into videos and the process was a piece of cake!! 🍰 took me about 1 minute total to put my video together!!

I actually put a negative review but the developer responded with something that actually helped me understand why they had to do the thing I complained about so now I can see it out of their point of view☺️
