I love how easy it is to add polishes that they have in Lacquergram ! When a polish isn’t in Lacquergram , you need to suggest it and it shows up under “suggested” so I can’t add it to my collection, wishlist, or destash. I wish I could easily add just the brand and name and have it only show up for me. I don’t have a good photo set up for taking pictures to suggest polishes. The symbols were not intuitive and it took me a minute to figure out how to get items to show up in each section. My collection has the option to filter for “on the way” and “not used” but I can’t figure out how to make polishes as on the way or unused. I’ll probably end up having to switch to a spreadsheet instead.
Super handy for tracking my polish. The UI can be a bit confusing, however, and I frequently submit product photos for polishes with missing photos to no avail. I wonder if there’s a manual acceptance process for those. However it works, it doesn’t seem to be happening.
I love that you can track your current, past, and future (wishlist!) collection. Swatches and reviews are also very helpful. Indy polishes definitely get loaded way faster than boutique and commercial brands, so I’m assuming Lacquergram creators must be involved with HHC, PPU, and some of their favorite brands directly. If I were to recommend changes, it would be to add likes and/or a reply function to comments, and a way to tag multiple polishes/effects in a single photo. Overall, highly recommend Lacquergram if you are looking for a solid nail polish tracker.
I really enjoy Lacquergram as someone who has recently gotten into nail polish and has a growing collection. The swatches are really helpful and I appreciate that this isn't truly "social media" with likes, videos, ads etc.
The only changes I would really like to see are being able to manually change the date of a swatch, and to be able to tag multiple polishes in the same swatch photo (for skittle manis etc).
My nail polish collection literally grows by the week. It’s literally getting out of hand because the bin I keep it in is full and I’m now storing my polishes (up right btw which means neatly) in boxes. I tend to forget what’s in the boxes because they’re not see through like my been.
HOLY COW does Lacquergram save the day! I now know what polishes I already own. I no longer make the mistake of accidentally ordering a repeat polish, and I get to add my own swatch pic. Love how easy it is to use Lacquergram . I get to also discover new brands. My favorite things is that even if a brand isn’t recognized in Lacquergram , you can simply add a pic and in a few days it’ll make it on. Love love love Lacquergram !
Easy to use. Great functionality. Allows me to track my large polish collection to avoid duplication as well as post swatch pics and notes about the polish. Also can see other people’s reviews as well as polish pics and descriptions which can aid in deciding whether or not to purchase polishes.
Fantastic app for keeping polishes organized. I wish it had a feature for tagging polishes in the stash to make it easier to find polishes by color, type, etc., but the comment feature gets the job done.
Lacquergram is so much fun for someone who is kind of obsessed with nail polish (like me). It makes it so much easier for me to keep track of what I have, make a list of what I want, and add polishes that aren’t already listed in Lacquergram . I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nail polish :)
This is great so you don’t buy duplicates and for knowing how old nail polish is! It’s such a pain keeping track of nail polishes and researching at thrift stores. Lacquergram however makes it so fun and easy with extra social additions too! I’m surprised more people don’t know about this!
I love Lacquergram. It connects with you other nail polish fans and I love seeing peoples collections. I love adding to mine and it’s been fun to to upload my nails with each new polish I use (swatches). Clicking on a Polish brand & name will give you info as well such as release date and specific collection it was a part of. Love Lacquergram.
My nail polish collection is large. I love Lacquergram because I can check to see if I already have a polish before making a purchase, which has been very helpful. I also like that I can quickly add new polishes to my stash and archive them when I ready to destash or sell them.
I catalogued my entire nail polish collection using Lacquergram, love the ability to share swatches and reviews. If you pay you are able to download a CSV file of the whole collections! Which if you have a large collection and are looking to create a spreadsheet of all your polishes is a great head start
Love Lacquergram! It works as a portable spreadsheet for me. I have been able to upload all of my polishes, except a few one off “mystery indies”. You can preview polishes, keep a wishlist, and keep up with many recent releases. Oh, and they have a magical unicorn polish picker for those days when you are totally indecisive. Thank you this app!
I love Lacquergram! Lacquergram allows me to keep track of and inventory my over 1600+ nail polish collection. It’s easy to use, and the extra features are fantastic. Not only do you have access to thousands of mainstream polish brands, but every independent polish brand you can think of is also represented. And if they don’t have something in their catalog you can suggest it and they will get it added very quickly. I also love the “unicorn”polish picker feature. Not sure what you’re in the mood to wear? Use the unicorn feature and it’ll pick a polish at random for you! I highly recommend Lacquergram to any nail polish lover out there!
I’ve been an avid nail polish user for many years and I’ve never thought to keep track of my collection like this. I can see how others use their polish, keep tabs on what I have in case I try to buy another polish that I already own, and learn about other indie brands I’ve never heard of.
This is such a great app! It so handy to have on my phone when I'm in the store looking at polish to make sure I don't buy duplicates and also great for searching for colors when doing my nails - my polishes get used much more now. The only thing I'd change is making the "color match" function applicable to polishes in my stash 😁
This is the only app I know of for nail polish collectors to catalogue their polishes. It’s so useful for looking up swatches, and for being a pretty new app, the interface is great! The only downside is the owners having to individually approve bottle shots. I know there’s probably not a way to automate that yet, but the process usually takes weeks. I don’t really mind it though for the rest of the great functionality Lacquergram has!
Learned about this from Reddit and I’m so glad I did because Lacquergram is the best way to look up swatches from a variety of people and lighting and see how a color looks “for real” and not in studio lighting or presented by a professional swatcher. I use it to organize my collection to an extent but I don’t have a very large collection so it works. Not sure it would be good if I had more than 100 polishes tbh. I recommend Lacquergram every chance I get for anyone looking up swatches.
Fantastic app. I started using this to help organize my ~200 polishes. You can easily add polishes by “collection” for fast set up when you start. Lacquergram has helped me not only stay organized but reduce my purchases—I can “shop” my own collection and view unused polishes! The ability to upload swatches is so much fun and there are some incredible artists on this platform to be inspired by. Only feedback is if you post a review I don’t see a way to delete it, but you can edit it. Otherwise privacy settings are somewhat customizable and you can make your polish collection private or public.
One of my favorite things is to check Lacquergram a few times a day and see all the mani submissions! And I always always post a pic and review after I do my nails. Great way to keep a list of your collection, too. Recommended.
