Constant playback errors on every channel. No TBS and a couple other channels. All day every day 🤬

I'm getting a playback error on several channels about a week now. I was told there were server issues. Are they still being worked on or is there another solution?

The picture and audio freezes or cuts out for a few seconds while watching Fox News channel. This happens very frequently.

Good evening, This is the third instance of seeking assistance for fixing so player. My issue is some movies within SOplayer have a 'playback error' and I have tried clearing the cache, forcing stop, and even downloading software to check and remove potentially hazardous files. If I could get some more in-depth assistance that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Almost every station i watch has a playback error come up and then repeats and repeats the last bit of the program.

I'm a test-reviewer of TV apps and IPTV services. The SO Player error ec21 is not the fault of the app. That's where the thinking is wrong when focusing solely on the app. There is nothing wrong with SO Player. Many individuals focus too much on the app instead of the SO Player IPTV service. SO Player is a free app download. It does not deliver any streaming TV/VOD content by itself. You need an IPTV service subscription to activate and use SO Player to watch TV online. The IPTV service delivers all the streaming TV/VOD content and provides support for the app and streaming content delivered. You don't get support anyplace else online. Never search online for the app name such as SO Player to find answers or support. You go to the IPTV service website where you paid your subscription. This is where you get support. Most individuals don't know what an IPTV service is, don't know the name and where to go. They can't find any of the emails sent to them from the IPTV service when they first signed up to get the trial or subscription. I have noticed many so player error ec21 searches online where many individuals think the app is broken. Not the app but the problem stems from the IPTV service side. Go to your IPTV service website where you paid your subscription/renew your subscription. Put SO Player aside and focus on the IPTV service name to find them. That said... I have been noticing during the Clear Fire TV and eFire TV closings that many individuals are searching for help with SO Player error ec21. Think about the following... When all these things happen at the same time... * Your IPTV service closes down and their website no longer appears online * Cannot get any support, no response from email or phone number if there is one * Can't watch TV online anymore * Gettng an app error message If all of the above is occurring on your end, then it's time to move on. By that I mean finding another SO Player IPTV service to pay the subscription to watch your favorites online. It's really that simple but you do need to know what other SO Player IPTVs are out there to signup and subscribe. You should already have a number of SO Player IPTVs on hand when you want to switch from one to another. Go to Google and do a search for the following... internettvdotcom.com + "top 10" Copy/paste the above exactly as written. That website has a lot of info on a number of IPTVs that support SO Player, Nora GO, LUX Player, or ISGO GO. These apps when connected to the IPTV service are very similar to one another. You get the Provider ID, Device Pin Codes, Username, and Password. You basically get the same streaming content also. The compatible devices are basically the same. The LUX Player app is also compatible with the Roku device. So just start over and find the IPTV service to resume watching your favorites online. Only then will the SO Player error ec21 issue get resolved. Bookmarked/save all the IPTV services supporting the app names above so that you always have them on hand.

SOPlayer Not working!! Error message EC21.........! You don't have a valid phone number to call and trouble shooting refers to the error message. My bill is paid months in advance!

The SoPlayer said I needed to do an update and was unable to ignore anymore. Got an EC21 error code. Said to Call us and well help you, but I do not have anyway to get ahold of SoPlayer. When I have to reinstall SoPlayer on one of my 4 tvs, I get an error that tells me that I am over the limit with my devices. Apparently this problem is not unique to me. Others have written about this issue. SoPlayer should have a chat program or an active customer service number. It is Very frustrating not to be able to get the help one needs without going through many steps--none from SoPlayer

Downloaded SoPlayer on new firesticktv, it says need to update. after installing update it says app not installed because package conflicts with existing package? Updated FireStickTV sytem, tried to uninstall and reinstall same issue? I see this issue has happened before to others, but none say how they resolved the issue. Current version of SoPlayer is 2.5.158.146, Its looking to update to ver. 2.5.166.207.

Following SoPlayers latest update, we no longer have sound on a few stations, especially during the daytime hours. The stations are: MSNBC, CNN, BBC, OWN, and it is hit or miss with other stations. PLEASE give up this new version and go back to the original, or at least give us a way to revert ourselves. The app has been unusable since you started down this rabbit hole. It's intolerably slow, even when it ISN'T freezing, and has fewer features. Honestly there isn't a single good thing to say about it. I'm going to give up my service which uses it simply because of the app.
