Still waiting for a special instructions field. It’s crazy that I order in advance on app for convenience but still have to run in before they start making my order to either state no ice or light ice, etc. Why can’t you allow special instructions??

Please add a special instructions field so I can add instructions like “light ice” or “light chocolate” or “add straw.” Every time I order my iced mocha, I have to run to the counter quickly to tell them my special instructions before it’s too late. Then wait around for my drink instead of just leisurely ordering then walking to the counter. Please, please add this field soon!! I’m Not sure what it wouldn’t have been included originally since in person ordering always allowed special instructions. I started using BlueBottleCoffee during Covid for safety and now I have to worry about this glitch.

I do a lot of driving for work, and will find myself ordering coffee for curbside pickup in the cities I know I’m going to drive through at a specific time. Unfortunately, BlueBottleCoffee only lets me select from stores within a few miles from me, meaning I have to drive close to the blue bottle I have in mind before ordering via BlueBottleCoffee (I use Philz mostly because BlueBottleCoffee lets you do exactly this). I am sure there are many people who drive to work from over a few miles away (especially in the Bay Area) who would also like the ability to order from a store along their commute, at a specific time.

Several breaks in security with BlueBottleCoffee. It’s not secure enough and I won’t use Blue Bottle again. In addition, you cannot track previous order history for potential disputes. You have to look at your credit card transactions but there is no order history for drinks on the mobile App. I read some of the responses from the developers and they are rather obtuse for the issues presented. This clearly says to me they are not putting the effort forward. When they state, “sorry to hear that” but don’t solve the issue or address the specifics, your losing customer base. I will no longer be getting coffee there because of BlueBottleCoffee. There are other choices for coffee in our area.

Zero information on BlueBottleCoffee. No settings, no menus, no list of stores by city or state, no setting favorites of anything or pre-loading a CC to make paying easier the next time.

Can ONLY view cafes by enabling location contrary to what a developer response stated. Tricky to find the map feature to find a cafe you want to browse, use google maps to save frustration. Forget even trying to order from a cafe not near you (i.e.-just to see what a particular store offers), it will direct you back to the nearest cafe.

I could not tell you how the ordering process works. No information given on the takeout only cafes work.

Since I live upstairs from blue bottle coffee shop it’s been very convenient except for the hours. Most of the time the the store is closed when I go to work and come back from work. But still BlueBottleCoffee is convenient except for when my dad wanted decaf and BlueBottleCoffee has no decaf, so I have to spend time in the hot sun during this COVID line. Can you please add the decaf americano (or reg. coffee) option.

I don’t allow apps to use my location so it would be nice to be able to search for which location I want to order from - especially since you’re going to be adding more locations! Will we be able to favorite a location? Look forward to being able to use this in Boston.

I ordered a latte online and went to the kiosk before the eta time. My expectation was for the barista to call my name or put the coffee on the counter. Nothing was on the counter and no one called my name so I kept waiting. At a point, it could’ve been faster if I just ordered on the spot. I eventually asked if my order was ready and my coffee was hid behind the counter. The service expectation is really off and I wish it was clearly stated.

I love how easy it is to order stuff from BlueBottleCoffee and have it be ready by the time that I arrive. Albeit a few glitches here and there, but other than that app works amazing and fits me for my busy life.

Quality of food/coffee in Palo Alto is great.

However- every time I go there they didn’t process my order or forgot. They are a bit disorganized and food and coffee are cold. My croissant egg sandwich was cold. I asked them to heat my other order and they said they had turned off the oven and would not turn it on.

BlueBottleCoffee works, but it’s really slow for some reason. Every time you go back and forth between screens it shows the loading wheel, a hassle to check out. Also why do I need to login to checkout with Apple Pay? Could definitely be improved.

I didn’t want to turn on location services. To find a store taking mobile orders, it’s trial and error through the list of stores, which is frustrating.

Also want to mail order beans which isn’t possible on BlueBottleCoffee .

Makes it not worth using for me.

Had a great experience with BlueBottleCoffee. Easy to use. Clear. Loved the Apple Pay option.

I typically order an iced mocha with oat milk in store it’s $6.25 (+tip). In BlueBottleCoffee it’s $7.25. I made sure all the settings were right and nothing was different. I asked an employee if they raised their prices, that was not the case. They mentioned BlueBottleCoffee automatically adds an espresso shot as default.

Please fix that. Also it would be nice to have the option to add extra or less ice.

Had placed an order as usual from home BlueBottleCoffee used a previous location. After placing the order didn’t realize it was the other location there is no button to cancel the order and they never answer the phone at the location or to let them know not to make it horrible food goes to waist and so dose my money

BlueBottleCoffee should allow ordering of espresso shots. The alternative is by trying to protect us from bad tasting coffee you’re making us wait in line purgatory behind all the other people who can use BlueBottleCoffee .

The espresso drinkers will time our arrival just right, we promise .

After an annoying process of making an account and choosing a password (why do I need this at all?), I chose what I want to order and got to the screen where I should be able to click “Checkout with Apple Pay”. Alas that text is not a button, and checking out seems to be completely impossible.

Functionality of BlueBottleCoffee is great. One area of improvement could be a re order option to save time

Love Blue Bottle more than Starbucks, but go to Starbucks more often due to their terrific rewards program. If Blue Bottle adds a rewards program I will 100% only go there—- please add!

I order the same thing every day but BlueBottleCoffee doesn’t remember. Have to navigate the menu of things I don’t drink each time.

Would also like the full food menu of my local to be available.

I open BlueBottleCoffee and it I says 9:06am pick up. Great. I know my order, two Gibraltars. I go to check out the updated time is now 9:16am. Total elapsed time since I’ve opened BlueBottleCoffee is less than 1 min. I hit pay and now my time for pick up is 9:24am. That is a ridiculous amount of time change. It needs to addresses and fixed.

Nice convenient app to skip the line at the register, but stop making a tip selection by default! What’s this all about? What exactly am I tipping for. I have to order and come pick up the coffee myself. Are you really expecting me to tip the barista for doing their job that they are paid for? Stop this BS!

As a regular at Blue Bottle, BlueBottleCoffee helps me avoid long lines. Helps that BlueBottleCoffee is also beautiful and seamless. 4/5 stars because I would love to be able to order food on BlueBottleCoffee eventually.

App is limited to coffee order. I’d be useful if I cud use BlueBottleCoffee as quick go to place to manage my coffee subscription easily and shop for other things. I’m in the countryside and no coffee location and I have my own expresso coffee machine at home. So BlueBottleCoffee is useless to me as a subscription customer. Don’t know why I have to go to website separately. Deleting BlueBottleCoffee for now.

Suggestion: i was trying to make my drink less ice but i found there was no option for this. Its be so much better if there was some kind of customization like starbucks app.

It’s so clean and light and easy to use. I’m so glad I finally have an app to order my coffee—waiting in line had become far too cumbersome.

Keeps bugging you to allow location and won’t let you proceed until you do. Then, to add injury to insult, only shows a non-open location close to where you are now, not the store you’re going to tomorrow to pick up coffee. It won’t allow you to select another store. Useless and annoying to boot. Deleted.

The design is sleek and modern but the Apple is pretty useless. BlueBottleCoffee basically only locates their stores and some allow online ordering, not all. I can use google maps for finding a location and store hours.

The team should try adding a payment option and maybe a rewards program.

I have the Latest iOS - As soon as I open it it says ‘no cafes found in this area’ even though I live about a half mile from one. It shows you an option to click ‘view all cafes’ but nothing happens when you do. There are no other options. So effectively BlueBottleCoffee does nothing.

I downloaded BlueBottleCoffee hoping it would be an advantage especially since I enjoy a good cup of coffee and some café style ambience. I got disappointed once I opened BlueBottleCoffee . I was hoping I would find something yet when I couldn’t find nothing near me, I let it search for me. The closest café near me was in another state across the country. Uninstalled.

Amazing but would would be nice to be able to add the blue bottle gift card for payments

I was excited to download BlueBottleCoffee because I have been waiting for a more intuitive way to manage my biweekly single origin coffee subscription, but that feature isn’t a part of BlueBottleCoffee at all! PLEASE add it in future updates.

I really love their drinks, and I feel like it should have something like rewards. To collect something to get a free drink and bakery, I will continue to buy more frequently!

Suggested features needed to make fully functional:

1. You can’t order a decaf cappuccino in the current version, only regular and add shots.

2. I can’t make a cafe mocha with “extra chocolate” which you can do with the square platform in the store

3. I’m sure there are a bunch of other basic order variations missing here

Otherwise BlueBottleCoffee is beautiful, simple and intuitive, looking forwards to the next version.
