I'd pay $10 for an app like that.
But I won't RENT one for $10 a year. Do you seriously expect people to pay $10/y for every single app on their phones until they die? If I spend money on something. I want to own it. I don't want to get into a one sided contract that locks me in forever. If new cool stuff is added to the app, then I get to decide if it's worth my money and pay for the update. Oh and that bouncy effect is almost as annoying as this new wave of entitled devs who think we should finance their retirements in exchange for a couple of little apps.
