Well, I don’t have a good experience with Zengo . First of all, whenever I created my first account, it sent me a magic email to login but the first email was broken (I clicked immediately after the verification email came but doesn’t worked) then I clicked on resend email and the second email worked fine. But the problem wasn’t there, when I almost completed the setup process it force closed. I reopened Zengo but again force closed. Tried almost hundreds of times but every time it closes after 1~2 secs. I don’t know what it happening. I’m using the latest iPhone 12 with latest IOS version.

I set up, sent my coin and got ready to exchange it for the coin I wanted to swap and was shocked not only at the fee involved there, but what it cost me to send my coins to this wallet (not that they charged a transaction fee but at how much it cost given the fact that I could not accomplish what I wanted to with their promised features), from my other wallet and then now, again back to my home wallet since I could not accomplish my desired trade nor could I seamlessly send money back to my bank account as promised. . . All in all, it cost me $45 to learn this lesson. I won’t be back. Even though I am leaving a fraction of my ETH in this wallet, as they told me to send too much . . .more than I actually needed to send my original coin back to my primary wallet. . . .all in all, not a happy camper here. Addendum: So it appears this chap thinks I am a newbie to the Crypto space for instead of the seasoned veteran I am. The point which he missed is that I cannot make deposits or withdrawals from their platform to my own offline bank as they suggest in their p.r. And they say that feature is “coming” in the future. As stated before, had I know that, I would not have wasted my time and money in their system at present. Hopefully that will change in the months and years to come but at present it is only a promise. Nada mas!!! 8-(
P.S. Flippant and condescending with your users much?!? What a rube!

I appreciate they try to make the UX easier by using magic link, but what if the link doesn’t work? What if it takes too long to receive the link? What if the email land in the wrong folder thus no notification? What do I do if I click the link and it doesn’t work?? All of the above happened to me and I couldn’t signup and uninstall Zengo right away. Especially for a crypto app, access to my account is a priority. I work in the mobile app industry and the magic link approach is already proved to be bringing more trouble than what the Ux designer think it benefits the average user. Replace your head of design with someone has technology background and able to make the right compromises. Never this app for me.

I really enjoyed this app at first. Their customer service is unparalleled and super easy to use the application. Baking rewards are much higher than coinbase as well. Unfortunately though I have missed opportunities to buy other crypto on dips due to frequent “bugs” preventing me from sending crypto to an exchange. Three separate times now my wallet has showed zero funds which is alarming. Now I have tried to remove other crypto which burns ether but due to
this app’s app my crypto doesn’t leave but still burns ether.

The fees aren’t the lowest (but by no means unfair or overpriced) but the reason why I love Zengo versus Coinbase, Binance, etc. is you can use Apple Pay with Zengo! There is only one other app that lets you buy with Apple Pay (can’t remember the name - Google it if you’re interested, that’s how I found Zengo) but the fees here are better.

Another big plus for Zengo is you can buy crypto immediately after installing with Apple Pay and (I think) with a debit/credit card too. I only used Apple Pay and had to provide very little information - took less than 5 minutes before I had a purchase pending. From there it took 10-15 minutes and the BTC is there!

Finally, Zengo doesn’t gouge you when you want to transfer your coins to another wallet. Sometimes exchanges will charge higher than normal fees as a way to make additional money. Cost me less than $2 to send my approximately $160 worth of BTC to my cold storage wallet. Overall Zengo is great.

PS: in all fairness, if you’re willing/able to wait for your coins - use Coinbase - they have the absolute cheapest fees for buying crypto but they have to verify you before you can start buying/selling. Good luck my fellow cryptonians, may we see each other @ the moon 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

Navigating the purchase of bitcoin can be daunting but this app was very informative and prompt which I really appreciated. It’s nice to have guidance through the process and this app did that for me. There are a lot of wallets and it’s hard to choose you don’t know if it’s a good one till you’re in it. Up from this app is great. Choose them!

Sometimes I’m very surprised at how quickly the transaction complete, other times I’m waiting for hours. I’ve learned when using Zen girl do you have the foresight to purchase before I find myself in need of making a crypto transaction. It’s very easy to understand and great for a beginner like me. Enjoy!

I am new to the crypto world. I was greatly confused and concerned about a transaction and the customer service reps were incredibly patient and walked me through to resolution. They even followed up with me when I had left the chat to do
other things! They were great! I’m glad I discovered Zengo and will be using it for my digital currency needs.

Honestly, I’ve been in crypto now since 2014 and this is the best mobile wallet I’m yet to use. It’s easier to use than my bank of America mobile app! Here’s why it’s great (especially for crypto novices):

1. No need to remember and safely store passphrases and seed words! (Big) back up your wallet with a loved ones biometrics! Highly practical!
2. Many crypto assets/coins able to be stored
3. Built in chat for customer support! (Just has numerous higher level questions answered in Zengo by this app employee!)

This wallet makes crypto intuitive and simple! Great job team this app. Also fwiw: I’m really happy you integrated one of the most underrated projects in crypto too: TERRA / $LUNA and their family of country specific stable coins.

Let me just start off with a purchase crypto frequently through a variety of platforms. this app and its affiliated partners are hands down the best. From fee cost, timing, customer service, back office, just top to bottom amazing and very helpful staff. They have a variety of currencies to purchase, withdrawal, exchange, etc. Easy, quick and convenient. If you are looking for a place I recommend these guys all the way. They rock!

I like it. Hopefully they will add functionality to let family members access the wallet in case of death. I’d hate to have a lot in my wallet and then have it go to waste if I died. I also wish that you could buy using a bank transfer in the US. But the wallet itself is very good and the support was helpful and fast. I recommend it

I’ve tried many wallets before from a variety of different companies and I’ve got to say, this one is the easiest by far. They take ease of access to the max and security to the max. Best of all, I completed a survey voicing some thoughts, and one of the developers actually called me to discuss the program for over 45min. You can’t ask for better “ear to the customer” than that. Highly recommend.

Sam is truly a Gifsend to me today! I had made a purchase that was hung up for quite some time. Was confused about an email asking about a deposit fee to get transactions. I have never used Zengo but it seemed weird (someone was “sending me” money) so I went to customer support. Took a screenshot of the email only to find out it was a fake email Ouriel helped me notice that and I am glad I went to him first before doing anything else. He was very nice even when I was dumb. :) I won’t be using Zengo but the customer service is great!

this app has poured in years of development and scientific breakthroughs combined with world class UX and UI to deliver the single best app experience in the crypto industry.

The typical ways to use and manage crypto are confusing at best, and often not secure and a pain to use. this app is focused obsessively on sweating every detail to make a truly accessible, usable, and dare I say - delightful app to store, send and receive crypto with the highest level of security and convenience we can hope for.

Before this app, security vs convenience used to be a trade off. Not anymore!

I own a hardware wallet and was trying to help my friend see how everything worked and at the end they ultimately thought everything was too confusing. So I did a quick search for beginner Bitcoin apps and this caught my eye immediately! Setup is a BREEZE and it is probably the most user friendly Crypto app I’ve ever used. The integration with facial biometrics to help with backups just makes it even better and more secure in case a phone gets damaged or stolen. Zengo is a definite gem.

Earlier I was looking for any app that can give me an easy access to buying crypto by paying with Apple Pay because of my region and I came across this app and it says boldly that you can buy crypto using Apple Pay but when I did all my registration, the methods did not include Apple Pay. I tried with the live chat but there was no response and I want to know if there is other ways going about it to pay with Apple Pay thank you.

If you are anything like me then you will understand the title here! I’m new to the cryptocurrency world and I’m steady trying to take it all in. Lots of these apps with wallets and bitcoins and the blockchain, sending and receiving! I was quiet confused ! Then I came across this app and it made it so much easier for me to understand. They also have a live help chat room with some very nice customer service working to help you at anytime! It really has made this new crypto world easier for me as I go! I’m constantly learning something new with it! Thanks this app!

I just transferred my BTC from Coinbase to this app for the first time and the process was easy, smooth and quick. As soon as I completed the transfer from Coinbase, I received a push notification from this app to let me know my BTC transfer was in a pending status. Within a few minutes it was verified and completed, and I could see all the transaction details (block #, height, size, fees, etc.) from Blockstream. I also had a question so I used this app support via the embedded chat feature within Zengo . A rep answered all my questions right away and was super knowledgeable and professional. That’s what I call a very good customer service! I look forward to continue using this app as my non-custodial keyless digits wallet.

Had a few questions regarding the fees and support answered them in a couple of minutes of me submitting a ticket. Very polite and professional costumer service.(I talked with Carlos but I’m sure others are amazing as well) App itself is well designed and intuitive, only thing I would like to see in the future is dark mode. But everything else works fine. As soon as I transferred the coins from my Coinbase I got a notification on this app saying I have a transaction pending, and as soon as it was confirmed on, the money was available in my wallet. Trust me when I say this, you will experience 0 holds and delays.
If you are an entry level bitcoin investor, or just want an additional wallet to keep your coins in for a faster usage/purchase, this is the perfect app for you.

Why is your entire social number required instead off the last 4 digits like all the other apps and crypto accounts I have already used? Accurate answer with this will quickly receive a higher rating if I’m prompted to actually use and spend money on Zengo? Is there a way to join only using my last 4 numbers? You will quickly get my testing time with this process. Thanks!

This is an update to my review titled withdrawal delays. Both the chief engineer and the CEO directly reached out to me in no time at all to explain the issue and rectify it. I won’t go into details but they went above and beyond in making things right. My overall experience with this app has been good and I would recommend this app to others. Keep up the good work.

This is a great website to buy bitcoins,. They have no restrictions to how much to buy. They have the best support team that are knowledgeable and they are ready to help you right there on a chat to help you with the problem. They are not like other bitcoins website when you have problem where you have to way hours or days to hear from the support team. Thank you!

I started out knowing nothing at all about cryptocurrency, so of course I messed up somehow etc etc. I contacted customer support and Sam had everything figured out within minutes! They’re very knowledgeable and Zengo is very user friendly! Would recommend to anyone!

I had a mess up with my coin not coming through and this nice man helped me every step of the way, since it took so long he gave me 5$ of bitcoin for FREE, truly amazing service all around , just had a little mishap but he took care of it and gave me free coin for the trouble. Customer service is superb. Utilizing the chat feature they answered my questions almost instantly. Their user interface is simplistic and easy to understand. It is also mobile friendly and easy to use.

Looking forward to the future ability to purchase more coins! The keyless wallet is interesting and easy to manage and backup. Also the fact they have a customer service is awesome! Once the fiat to stable coin on-ramp is available for my location, I’ll be using this wallet all the time.

Im new to the crypto currency, and downloaded a couple of apps but non worked with this the only app that worked and its better than the rest and very helpful customer service would recommend 5 stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ZenGo wallet is a fcking joke. Firstly, they charge you a nice, simple flat-rate transaction fee. (good for them, that's a nice way to earn some money) Then, they sell you crypto at exorbitant pricing. (this should be completely illegal... it's like going to the store and grabbing something that says it cost 9.99, bringing it to the counter, and them ringing it up at 23.99... What would you do?) Now, they want you to send them proof of address too (the same store says "even though we don't ship anything...ever... we need you to fill out this form with all your information and provide a utility bill as proof of residence" just... wtf). When is enough enough?
