CryptoTrader: Charts & Alerts Reviews

Used to love CryptoTrader. The UI looks awesome but it's functionality has plummeted.
The candles don't load when switching between a day and one hour. (or day to week).
Changing between landscape mode often cause it to fail.
Used to be able to go back much further now it only goes back a few months and you're not able to see a years worth because it adjusts the view automatically. (and 'follows' you). This can create the impression price is going up OR down depending on where you stop. Not reflective of an accurate timeline. Zooming out is limited. If all you need is the past few days or weeks this works fine. Most traders however will use increments at a week, six months, a year, etc. intervals. CryptoTrader (now) misses the mark.

Definitely one of the best apps for following the various exchanges. Newest version has an annoying issue where it fails to load intervening candles and volumes when waking from background; necessitates force-closing and restarting. Also, some exchanges frequently flake out and show 0.00 prices, despite still showing the book. Wish there was an in-app bug reporting feature so I didn't have to submit them
here!

Been using this to follow my gdax exchange and it's been very accurate and fast.

One bit of advice to app developers would be more charting options. For example the most you can say is 1 day chart. Would like to see more options there.

Also I would like to be able to remove a recent exchange. For example I've accidentally clicked on a wrong exchange now it's always there in my recent exchange view

CryptoTrader has really done a number to their interface! I’d give it a 10/5 if I could. Before there were only a select few amount of coins available to watch and the UI wasn’t easily traversable. Now, however, they have overhauled the old UI and made it very easy to search for the coin you want and watch the charts you desire. All the charts provided have candlesticks up to 5m, perfect for watching on the go.

App seems to put laid out very well. Easy to use and visually pleasant. One complaint; it doesn’t have Binance Bitcoin pricing. I use Binance for several coins and they are one of the largest exchanges in the world so it only makes sense to have their bitcoin pricing available through CryptoTrader .

CryptoTrader allows a mobile trader to keep an eye on the most important coins in their portfolio. It's only lacking in one extremely important feature in my opinion, the ability to set notification alerts for when a coin drops below or rises above a set price.
It would be the perfect icing on this well thought out cake.

In the cryptocoin space it's not hard to find buggy apps. This is not one of them! It works well in portrait and landscape mode. A feature I really like is the way it keeps track of the most recent currency pairs viewed. This is a big time saver and worth having CryptoTrader just for that feature alone.

If you are looking for an app to have real time updates for prices, look no further. CryptoTrader is everything you will need to make that split second decisions whether to sell or buy.

I understand that Coinbase is extra busy with so many people signing up and their system being overloaded, but what I can't understand is the lack of customer service. No one ever picks up the phone and the automated msg pretty much says that they can't help you with anything. No one replies to emails. I've been waiting for over a month to be able to get my ID verified (after it already was verified when I first open my account) and now currencies have gone up and I've missed out on some good opportunities. Thank you Coinbase!

Been using CryptoTrader for about 3 months now, and I had I not upgraded to the iPhone X this would be 4-5 stars with some simple feature suggestions. However CryptoTrader is rapidly becoming unusable on my new device and after seeing that CryptoTrader had not been updated in 8+ months I felt the need to say something. Plus update CryptoTrader before it goes kaputz. If it’s a matter of Dev or app profitability, I’d be glad to volunteer my own services just to keep this going. Just please do something.

Great app, I can't be without it. I check the constant update graph to see when I can make my next big move. I wish they had a push notification of when a coin is going up/down according to how you want to be notified.

Easy to use with numerous time & exchange options. Given the amount of data, CryptoTrader processes well over cellular networks and is excellent when wifi connected. Also stats of each candle displays when they are selected. A very good tool to have on you!

If you recently join the coin-martket scene and want to watch all the trading action of the coin market, this is CryptoTrader ! CryptoTrader shows REAL TIME coin prices through candlestick charts which are very informational when wanting to buy or sell. I highly recommend getting CryptoTrader for coin tracking.

I have been using it for a month+ now, this app is very convenient, easy to use and very reliable. Because it uses many exchanges, you get to see current charts even if your exchange is down. A+, runs well on ipad and iphone

I initially loved CryptoTrader, and still find it useful for tracking overall market cap and coin prices on the go. However, the charts for tracking prices for the individual tokens over various timeframes will frequently not load at all. As this was the initial reason I got CryptoTrader and one of its most useful features, I am disappointed.

CryptoTrader used to have the very best charts by far. Don’t know why they removed the helpful feature where when you moved your finger on the chart it would show the exact date and time.

I just had to come here and give it 5 stars. You know, this Cryptocurrency Business brought manny newbies to the trading business since it's so easy to buy and sell. CryptoTrader will make your iPad look like a Bloomberg terminal. Business baby, Business.

Great app allowing a person to be able to kind of follow coin market prices, unfortunately I find that prices noted are approximately 1/2 hour behind actual exchange pricing. This is not an issue if just following overall coin price movement, but a disaster if trying or considering trading as you will miss buys/sells when prices are moving quickly.

This was all I needed for keeping on top of market, then the push notifications stopped coming to my lock screen. All of the settings are correct both in CryptoTrader and under the iPhone's settings. Missed some great dips in the market. I have deleted CryptoTrader and now have to find a replacement.

This is the most accurate and comprehensive charting tool I've find for watching tokens/cryptocurrencies. It's responsive and has graphic data from all the most active currency exchanges. Donates some coin to this dev. 👍🏿💯
