CAUTION! if you select a plan before doing the math for box price, like I did, once you build a box, set up your account, and get to check out, it is IMPOSSIBLE to change your plan to one less expensive. Even chat help couldn’t come up with a way. Even closing the site, going back in and trying to start over only popped me back to the same checkout page with the same plan originally chosen. Even trying to skip the log in didn’t work. All roads led to that same final checkout page.
SO BEWARE, pick your plan ONLY AFTER CALCULATING THE BOX COST BY MULTIPLYING THE NUMBER OF ITEMS IN THE PLAN BY THE PRICE PER ITEM. For me, it was a surprise how expensive it was for the “most popular” box, 12 items weekly. Before agreeing to pay, I tried to back out and rechoose a different smaller box (or monthly instead of weekly). Anything to get the bill down to a smaller dollar amount.
COULD NOT CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT PLAN NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED. So I haven’t eaten anything, or experienced any deliveries, but I already see a SERIOUS FLAW in the web site. Suggestion to the company: either show the TOTAL BOX PRICE in addition to the per item price ON THE SAME EXACT PAGE, or create a user friendly path to back out of a final checkout page back to a place to change the specific plan now wanted (other than the one first chosen.) I think there is a way to change specific items chosen, but not a way to change the overall plan wanted.
