DO NOT SIGN UP WITH OPENFIT! There is NO WAY TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION offered on their website. The site says reach out to their FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT, but there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. The only thing it allows you to do, is to op out of the next years subscription billing, but you are stuck with it for another whole year. There BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE LESS THAN ABOVE BOARD! Now, I don’t want to use the service which I am stuck with, because THE PEOPLE AND BUSINESS IS SKETCH, CREEPY IN ITS BUSINESS PRACTICES. Who would want to have a trusting relationship with these fitness coaches/personnel, when they operate their business in this underhanded way. KARMA will eventually come around. You can’t treat customers this way!

I signed up for the free trial. I just saw a charge on my credit card for $129. What a rip off and of course, no way to reach them. I will dispute with my credit card company.

I am trying to cancel my subscription since I cannot ever attend the live streaming. And I cannot find any phone number to contact and to call and there is no option on my account to cancel the subscription. Please help.

I signed up for the trial but once it downloaded I found that the program was not tailored to my abilities or needs, so I canceled the trial/subscription, immediately. Yesterday, I was billed $96 for an annual subscription. I searched all over their site to contact someone, but there was nothing there other than to cancel the next automatic billing. Once I did that, it went to a window asking why. I then posted the above information and requested a response as well as a refund. No response, and the money is not back in my account. I found this page after using Google. So far, I haven't found a phone number, email or other means to communicate with Openfit. If anyone reading this can offer any help to reclaim the money that should not have been charged, please advise.

Paid for annual membership which I use on my ipad. Try to do the walking on demand class on iphone and after logging in with same id, it directs me to free trail or to subscribe.

Be careful about “free trial”

I downloaded a few workout apps to test them and see which one was the best fit for me. I had seen positive reviews online for Openfit, and saw on their site that they offered a free trial , so decided to give it a try. When I clicked on the Free Trial button on the site, I was given three subscription plans to choose from with a message that I could “cancel at any time”. I chose the shortest plan thinking that I would receive the free trial advertised and could cancel if I didn’t decide to go with Openfit. I used the app for less than a day and, though it has good features, I chose another workout app that I felt was a better fit. My card was charged immediately. As soon as the charge went through, I cancelled my subscription and contacted the Openfit support email listed in other reviews to request a refund, the message was returned to sender. asked for me to choose a subscription plan. Beware of the “free trial” advertised on the Openfit site: this appears to be some deceptive marketing to lure in customers. Only subscribe if you expect to be charged immediately and are okay with that. UPDATE: I have twice now tried contacting the developer via the email address shared in their response below and each time the email was returned as undeliverable.

Confusing, and no one is available to help

After researching some online at home workout programs I was excited to try openfit. As a working mom I needed something I could do wherever whenever and had a variety of options so this seemed like a great fit. Plus the “quarterly” fee was reasonable. I submitted my card information, and downloaded the app excited to get in. I also downloaded the app in my smart TV. After about 45 mins of trying to get the apps to work, each time I signed in it would want me to enroll or sign up for a subscription (i already had) I tried finding a customer service number but there wasn’t one - email only. I submitted a request twice just to have someone tell me to delete the app then download again. After 3 days of trying to get going I was frustrate and done. I quickly logged back in to cancel my subscription (because forget it no one will even help you) and it was still telling me to sign up (again, i already had) so i emailed again customer service and they told me there was no subscription. Great. Oh no . A month later $39 charge. Here we go. Emailed again because you can’t call anyone just to be told i don’t have a subscription. I was just charged again a second time . $39. NO ONE WILL HELP ME

Not overly happy

I am always in the market for a good workout app! I love working out and have tried so many! I always chose the subscription options that include the 14-day or so free trial, because they can be expensive and I am picky about my workout programs. So, I downloaded the app, made an account and choose the option for the year subscription, because it came with a 14-day trial. I started using the app and didn’t love it, so I had plans of canceling my subscription well before the 14-day trial ended! Well within hours of choosing that subscription, I was charged the 100 or so dollars for the whole year subscription. I reached out to customer service about the issue, wanting my money back, because I technically was supposed to have a 14-day trial! They claimed that the 14-day trial was only if I signed up online! They even set me their official prices page! What? The app clearly showed that a 14-day trial would be included! I feel like it is deceiving and not totally honest! I have dealt with so many apps and definitely know how the trial basis works! So, if you plan on taking advantage of the 14-day trial, DO NOT DO SO ON THE APP!!!!!!!!!!! They are unclear about it, so I hope this helps make it clear for you!
