I downloaded ColectivoCoffee to get the free drink upon download and then loaded $10 on for a lunch item. Went to the counter and they told me the points wouldn’t cover the almond milk latte I wanted. Then said I couldn’t just pay the extra whatever cents it was for the almond milk latte and use up the points so now I just loaded $10 that I no longer want to use because this drink voucher is essentially useless for me because I don’t drink regular milk. Absolutely irritating. I am a colectivo regular and this ordeal and their policy was mind numbingly stupid to think about.

I’d just like to know, before I add an item to my cart, how much it costs! I had $9 preloaded on ColectivoCoffee from previous orders. I attempted to buy a coffee and that new peanut butter smoothie, more than $9! How much more? No idea. Maybe I could adjust my coffee order, eliminate one of the shots I added, which ColectivoCoffee tells me is $1. But I’m not allowed to know how much a smoothie costs until I add a minimum of $10 to my card. So now it takes me $19 to buy two beverages? I get that $10 is a minimum because of credit card fees but like, just tell me how much the drinks are so I don’t add things to my cart, just to find out I will need to reload more $, and then remove them, and go back to add other drinks! Very frustrating experience while in need of caffein. Please just tell me how much things cost.

Not happy about having to download an app to place order and pick it up, to not have to go into store due to COVID. What’s even more irritating about not being able to place order over the phone is having to “load” a minimum of $20 to ColectivoCoffee before you can place first order. So basically they take your money before you even spend it. And if you have any $$ left over after you place an order it’s on ColectivoCoffee and you can’t get it back, so you have to place another order and it’s a vicious cycle of trying to use up your $ you put on there. They want you to download ColectivoCoffee so badly so they can get your DATA and your MONEY. I will not be going back!!

Every single order I put in for delivery, my address somehow gets messed up. Even after entering it correctly multiple times, ColectivoCoffee puts my location blocks away from me. This ends up with the Postmates driver confused and me trying to explain where I actually live. It’s not the driver’s fault, nor Colectivo’s fault, but Postmates fault. Partner with another delivery company and I might be able to actually buy from you again.

Otherwise, I won’t be ordering any longer since I don’t feel like walking outside for 15 minutes trying to flag down the understandably confused driver.

I downloaded ColectivoCoffee because I wanted to walk to Colectivo and have my order ready when I got there. Simple, right? No! Before I can order, I have to preload a payment card with an arbitrary whole dollar amount, rather than just pay for what I want with a debit card or Apple Pay or whatever. That system is gross, predatory, and designed to skim money from loyal customers. It’s shameful and makes me think twice about going to Colectivo in the general.

All things considered ColectivoCoffee functions quite well. However when paying for things on ColectivoCoffee you must deposit cash in 10, 15, 25 etc dollar increments instead of paying for one purchase at a time. If you could enter an exact amount you want to deposit that would solve the problem, but you can’t. Very annoying business practice to make you “over deposit” for your order so they have a float.

I HATE that I can only see prices after adding enough funds to cover my order. Just show me the prices. Feels like a poor marketing tactic to get customers to keep more money than they need it ColectivoCoffee . Why not just rely on quality product and service to maintain loyal costumers?

As of yesterday, ColectivoCoffee no longer pulls up any Milwaukee locations. So... I can’t order or even see product. I would really like to place a curbside pick up order and help, but because ColectivoCoffee is the only way to do this, I guess I unfortunately cannot.

First, I’m thrilled that you finally have an App to track rewards and order!!! However, ColectivoCoffee is a little clunky to navigate.

Most of the time when I go to Place an Order ColectivoCoffee does not seem to know where I am and shows me one cafe far away. Need to fix this as you’re losing orders!

I also cannot Save my favorite drinks which requires a lot of manual customization every time that I want to order. Finally and perhaps MOST important to me, you cannot request whipped cream on a drink in ColectivoCoffee !!! Every time I get to the store to pick up my drink I have to ask for it to be added which wastes a lid, my time and the staff’s time. Please add Whipped Cream! LOL

I love Colectivo coffee, but ColectivoCoffee needs to advance with the times. It hasn’t changed at all! There are very minimal options to customize your beverage, for example, the latte I want comes with vanilla syrup, but I want sugar free, I can’t swap out the syrups on ColectivoCoffee , I have to select the sugar free option and then get charged an extra 75 cents for “adding” an additional syrup. There is also no option for “favorite orders” or re-ordering anything, which takes extra time to go through the menu to make your selection again.

ColectivoCoffee is adapting to the current pre ordering system so I get there will be glitches but what would make this work, putting pricing anywhere before having to checkout. How much do I need to add to my card? Who knows until you add money to the card and then check out. You don’t even see the price of the item in the description or once you’ve added the item to your cart. I’d rather know the cost under the name of the item on the selection page rather than the total calories which if I really cared about calories, I could find out in the description. Luckily Colectivo is amazing so putting a random amount on my card isn’t that big of a deal for me but it would be nice to know how much things cost before ordering.

Getting rewarded for my regular spending at Colectivo sounded amazing! No longer do I need to go to Starbucks or Dunkin’ to get points for free coffee and food, but now I could do all that at a cafe I love. I loaded up my digital card and ordered in store. After the transaction, I looked at my points and was disappointed. One of the big draws of this cafe is that the food is amazing; however, you basically only get points for some beverages. No food. No retail goods. Not even bakery items... the loyalty program also isn’t upfront about how many points are in a dollar. The interface is polished and friendly, but the substance for ColectivoCoffee and it’s loyalty program just aren’t there.

The ability to change the size of your drink is no longer functioning. Instead of seeing options for small/medium/large you only see the word “label”. If you try to select “label” and move on with your order it gives you the error “unable to parse key value to model”. This prevents the user from completing an order entirely. I’m using the most recent version of ColectivoCoffee .

Such a bummer as a mom just trying to get my caffeine fix without bringing my baby into the cafe.

ColectivoCoffee does work and I’m able to add money to my card, add points from purchases, and use my balance to pay in store. The online ordering does not work what so ever. ColectivoCoffee is glitched out with a location no where near me and has five drinks in my cart that I never added nor am I able to remove. When I attempt to add an item to my cart, there is only an error message.

Good concept, but ColectivoCoffee isn’t fully functional.

App would be 5 stars if they didn’t force you to put a minimum of 10 dollars in your account when you just want to use points

The food and drinks at Colectivo are my absolute favorite, however, having to refills my card seems like an extra added step when the system could just charge my payment method the exact amount every time. Not sure why this is the system they chose to use.

Haven’t used ColectivoCoffee enough to rate accurately on overall experience, but one change I’d possibly suggest is offering $1 as an option for tip on small orders like a single cold brew. I always drop a dollar in the jar, but during the pandemic, I’m trying to go cashless. Maxing out at 25% tip impacts the workers’ wages. Please offer a custom tip or $1 tip button on user side so we can better support your baristas! Thanks!

Credit where it’s due, ColectivoCoffee has fixed SO many issues. You can now pay with any card instead of loading funds, and they even will let you use any remaining balance in combination with your credit card. GPS issues seem to be fixed too, and customization options are (for the most part) appearing correctly. Definitely recommend ColectivoCoffee now. Thank you!

Not too sure what the other reviews are talking about. My app shows the price of every item before adding to the cart. Works great and easy to use. Just choose your items, pay, and pick up. Not too sure how much easier it could get.

ColectivoCoffee has been great, but I would like to see the level of roast, body and acidity in the description of retail coffee. Another suggestion is to include how many (burritos, coffee etc...) we want before we ‘add to bag’. Other than that, it’s been fun ordering from ColectivoCoffee , and picking up my order at the window or having it delivered to my car.

love love love that I can preorder and they’ll bring it out to my car. the pandemic safety measures they follow make me feel confident about shopping here regularly. i’m always amazed that the baristas remember my order whenever I come into the coffee shop—if I forget to mention “no foam” when I order inside, they see my name and ask if I still wanted no foam (that’s my usual!)

I really can’t see pricing until loading cash into ColectivoCoffee ??? I built an order but had no idea how much anything cost, all I could see was that I didn’t have enough money loaded to purchase it. And then I couldn’t use Apple Pay to load. I had to give them card number and billing address. No thanks.

Overall I find the Colectivo App very useful to keep track of my points and to remind me of my birthday bag of coffee. I would like to see Apple Pay support for card reloads and Apple Wallet support so that my Colectivo card is in the same location as most of my other payment and rewards cards.

Pretty cool app. It’s nice to be able to put my order in and pick it up when it’s ready.

My biggest complaint is that you have to load a card with a set amount of dollars to buy anything. Thus, leaving you with an odd leftover balance. I wish I could just pay the amount I owe instead. And PLEASE support Apple Pay (and whatever the android version of Apple Pay is as well, Android people are not perfect but deserve a little love once in a while 😉)

Lastly, being able to add my loyalty card to Wallet would be nice. I used a third party app to do it, but official support is appreciated.

I’ve been trying to sign up for a new account but the PIN is not being sent to my email.

Update! Whatever bug there was has been fixed!

I love being able to earn rewards, but ColectivoCoffee is really suffering from not having Apple Pay support or being able to add my card to Wallet Passes

Good for sure, quick painless setup. Only issue is it turns and keeps the brightness on my phone up when I scan the QR code. Pretty minimal bug as far as I’m concerned.

Easy to set up. It’s nice having an easier way to keep track of the points I’ve racked up. The Tuesday 2x point thing is cool too. I just hope they aren’t hitting the slippery slope down “Starbucks Way” for the employees’ sake.

I am unable to update my Birthday in ColectivoCoffee . The verification code isn’t generating the code to my email. Otherwise, I absolutely adore ColectivoCoffee! Thank you!
