I don’t understand all the negative reviews here. I’m assuming CamHipro is functional for many different makes and modes of cameras, and it plays better with some than others. So I’m here to show CamHipro some much needed love. I came here to download it after purchasing some cameras and I really was concerned I may have to return the cameras after seeing so many bad reviews. I downloaded CamHipro and continued anyway. Let me say after using several other apps for IP cameras that this was the easiest one to start up the cameras (only took minutes for each one) and CamHipro has worked flawlessly ever since I downloaded it. I literally don’t have one single complaint. I wish the camera has a slight but more of a wide angle but that’s not the fault of CamHipro at all. That’s the cameras issue. So if you’re reading these reviews please know CamHipro works excellent for some of us.

I considered CamHipro pretty good until last update. I first used CamHi which had an update. After the update you could no long set both alarm recording and planned recording on at the same time. I then switched to this app. After a month or so that was updated and now same problem exist there. Also I have two cameras using CamHipro. One seems to function fine while the better camera will only record alarms randomly. If you reformat the card and turn on the alarm setting it works for half hour to an hour then stops recording alarms. Looking for a better app.

Follow up.....new release came out this week. Seemed to fix all the problems I had been having so increased to 4 stars. Still a few things that could be better but at least seems to be working fine now.

I think CamHipro works well. It is definitely an improvement from the regular CamHi app. One small change I would make is when using the 2 way audio feature, make the microphone button “push to talk” like you would find in a intercom system. I’ve found that if I’m talking to someone through the camera, I have to keep clicking back and forth between the mic and speaker button, and it gets cut off a lot when people start talking before I can switch the audio back on. Having the mic only on when you hold the button down would help this.

CamHipro is good. But the alarm recording is limited to only 15 seconds and you can’t adjust it. I know there’s is the plan recording option for 24/7 recording, but most of people don’t want to do that. Please and please give us the option to adjust the length of alarm recording like 15 seconds, 60 seconds, and 90 seconds. Thank you in advance.

Video quality is great. That’s where to good feature ends. The motion sensing has to be turned off during rain or storm or it scans Constantly and never stops. The other issue I have is the alarm recordings and the constant recording. There is no option to view the previous day alarm recording, only the present day. If there is an option, the instructions fail to mention it.

I love my cameras (2). They are a great addition to my security system. I find that these cameras will slowly track objects horizontally but not vertically. Is there any updates to address this issue. Also when trying to scan time recorded videos, I keep getting kicked off line.

Updates routinely mean I cannot access the camera until the “next” update.
Don’t waste your money buying this!
The camera is great, clear picture, crisp sound. But every time there’s an update, you can’t access the camera & they have to do ANOTHER update to fix what wasn’t broken.
It costs too much to be a decoy, but if you want a security camera, it’s useless.

Refuses to keep time set to my time zone. Every time I switch to another app and then return it defaults to Hong King time zone. This is significant as image time stamps do not reflect correct time. Number of pictures will not stay set to 3, returns to 1 whenever I leave app and return. Image sensitivity adjustment apparently doesn’t work as I receive alerts even when the camera is in an empty room.

Unfortunately no thumbnail of camera activity is showing on every motion file. You need to spend a lot of time looking viewing every video file. A picture of the motion that triggered the recording is so helpful. This is a missing feature.

Another problem on my iPad is the program runs in portrait mode. The playback is landscape. When using playback I need to keep switching the iPad 90 degrees to see the image.

It would be helpful to simply stream all the alert videos 1 after another! I hate needing to play each motion detection alert one at a time in order to sort through 20+ motion alert videos every day!

Motion Alerts are set to maximum sensitivity. (100) CamHipro won’t even detect a UPS truck passing by the camera.

I have security cameras Yi Home at home as well. Yi Home software has a very user friendly interface to use and manage the cameras. Users have more flexibility to set up motion detection and it is convenient for users to view motion detection alarm videos. Anyway, did good job but hope to have more features.

Please upgrade CamHipro. It’s 2019 there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to view a live multi camera view if we have 4 cameras hooked up. Nobody likes to have to close out one camera to see another

This is the only app that appears to be linked to my very expensive solar IP camera. It will work for a few weeks and stop working after updates. Has not worked in 3 weeks after last update. Phone company said it’s not their SIM card. Cannot reset camera from app. Will likely have to completely delete and reinstall to see if it’ll work. Really horrible program.

I have an outdoor wireless security camera and so far this does everything right for what i need. It moves the cam, it captures everything that comes close enough and it takes quite nice high resolution video and photos.

App works great with our specific cameras. Haven’t had any problems so far and been using CamHipro for over a year. Would definitely recommend

I do enjoy CamHipro but would love if, immediately after being CamHipro into the foreground, it would grab a real-time picture update for all cameras listed. This would reduce the need to open each camera to get the state of things.

Easily control settings on camera from home or miles away. Does exactly what I need it to do. Recent update just made it better.

Pretty good app. Are you planning on allowing for configuration of other IP cameras? I have several cameras setup using raspberry pi’s and would like to be able to connect to them as well. One stop app would be nice - instead of using others.

CamHipro is easy to add cameras and can view them with no issues. Have been using it for the past 6 months and no issues.

My camera worked great until this update ruined it! I can’t connect to my camera and when I do it lags terribly and the sound goes out 🤬 I want the old version or I’ll be returning these cameras and buying ones with a good app! Maybe listen to your customers and fix this problem.

I have three cameras on the network, all are connected through Wi-Fi. The two that are the closest to the router constantly get dropped. Network anomaly. Over and over and over. The one that’s the furthest away, never has any problems like that. The problem is only gotten worse with the newest updated version of CamHipro. Please fix!

I’ve got 4 cameras they are the best cameras I’ve had and I’ve had a few from different companies. The spot lights speakers,motion, Recording and pretty much everything is great about the CAMERAS!!.
Now!! THE -APP. The Only thing I would say negative is it keeps kicking my camera viewer out and I have to keep reactivate the view every so often through out the day. It will also get kicked out if I try to view the cameras on two different devices at the same time. If that were to be fixed these cameras and app would be number 1 in security

I got CamHipro to remote view and control a Jidetech Dome PTZ cam. It does everything I need it to do.
Now, if I could just get a version of this to run on my Raspberry Pi and 7 inch touchscreen I would be thrilled.

Used to love this camera now app won’t work correctly, camera functions are now a pain to use and cannot even watch recorded video as video will open then immediately close. Had planned to purchase several more cameras bu now believe I’ll shop elsewhere!! In conclusion thank you for turning good cameras with a decent app into. WORTHLESS JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
