My previous version of Ling was working perfectly. After I downloaded the latest version, as suggested in the app, I now have problems. The appearance and layout of the new version is very different and has a white background. Sound doesn't work. Writing part doesn't work. No review capability. Plus more. I note the download was about 46 MB. I think the previous version was 80 something?

Usually when I try to begin a lesson, the app crashes and even if I manage to get a lesson going it can crash after a couple questions. I paid a lot of money for an app that doesn't even work properly.

How to fix Ling app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Ling app on iPhone
Update Ling app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Ling iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Ling on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Ling network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Ling Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Ling not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Ling App
1. On android, goto Settings » Ling » click [Force Stop]

Update Ling to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Ling App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Ling » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Ling.

Fix Ling unable to contact server/ Ling internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Ling » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Ling » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Ling
