Instantly deleted. Too many people are willing to give up privacy for the sake of a free app. I thought maybe this developer created TheOrangeApp for his own use and decided to share it so others could benefit, but as soon as I saw the phone number request, I was instantly suspicious of why it was “free”.
I’ll use the highly-rated “Zones for Training” app instead. Upgrading it to the “Pro” level lets me configure the 5 zones like Orangetheory uses... and it’s a lot less sketchy.
Got this ap with the hopes I could monitor my workout on my iwatch. I unfortunately need to delete it because it provides overinflated data compared to my OTF out of studio workout monitor. For example for today’s workout, the ap said I burnt 542 calories, with 24 splat points. My OTF heart monitor recorded 365 calories with 18 splat points. While I understand it isn’t a perfect science the different is too vast for me.
After I workout and my watch shows my workout is complete my app on phone shows no data. I have allowed all options through the health app and it shows no data.... help!
I tap start and it says the workout started but it nothing happens it doesn’t change zones or college data every workout I’ve done has ended in all 0s
Why must you require the user’s phone number before TheOrangeApp can be used? Deleted immediately.
Not sure why I’m not getting any calories on my workouts. The palate points are pretty close to my 🍊theory heart monitor
TheOrangeApp used to work great before but now after i updated to the latest watchos TheOrangeApp is no longer recording splat points. It always says i have zero points during my workouts.
I think TheOrangeApp is working, but I have no idea where it is pulling my age from. I feel that my “zones” are incorrect. I just completed my first OrangeTheory workout with TheOrangeApp and the heart rate zones were much higher than my actual percentages.
Is there any way I can see how many miles that I run? I like your app, but I have NO idea how many miles I have gone. And u can’t use 2 workout apps at the same time. One will always close.
An edit option to change name.
TheOrangeApp seems to work on the phone and when I’m done I see my points, calories and avg heart rate, but it never syncs and disappears...
But obviously it’s here on my iPhone 8+. Not sure what to do. Reset Apple Watch. No luck.
I love it so far! But I really wish I could see how much time I spent in each zone! Time for an update!
Real time showing heart rate and color during work out, work summary can use some improvements in adding more data (bar graph of time spent in each zone). Data sync between iwatch and iPhone, keep them both open to sync.
I wore my OTF chest strap heart rate monitor while using TheOrangeApp and my splat points were pretty much the same. I had one more splat point with TheOrangeApp and burned a few more calories. I’ll take it!!!
