This, as some other reviews point out, is for ONE location (about a thousand miles off my location). IT WOULD BE BEST TO NAME IT PER THE LOCATION. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to make something work that is not designed for your purpose… unknowingly as it is not labeled so. In all fairness,I did not really use TheFamilyYMCA.

This is not an app for YMCA members generally, just an unofficial app for a single location developed by a third party. If the strategy of the developer is to rack up a download count with a vague and misleading title and improper use of logos and trademarks... it does do that. Otherwise it does not do anything you want or expect based on the listing.

Asks me to update when I open it even though I just updated it. Doesn’t show any available programs at my local YMCA. No account info. Basically just a way to store your membership and digitally.

What is my location? How can I change it? TheFamilyYMCA doesn’t work for me. It just says the family Y and I don’t get to pick a location, to check on the class schedule.

App won’t let me connect to my local YMCA. So, its worthless. Also, would like TheFamilyYMCA to do the following:
1. Connect with local YMCA (of course) for schedules, etc.
2. Be able to actually have a login that is connected to my membership.
With that membership login I’d like to be able to:
1. Sign up for classes (i.e. swimming classes for my kid).
2. Pay my daughter’s monthly cheer classes and related fees, etc.
3. See due dates of bills

This Y app needs to be location specific. When the logo looks the same, everyone just assumes it is for all YMCAs and this one is not. I just hope I didn’t get charged for it.

What Y is this? Gave me info for a Y 1000 mi away. Tried to configure settings, but when I clicked on anything nothing happens. Guess can’t replace picking up phone and calling to get info.

I think the developers started this but it’s been put on the shelf and hasn’t been finished. When they do finish it could be a pretty cool app

The only location is NM. I live in Northern Michigan. Id like to know what’s going on with my local Ymca! The only useful part of TheFamilyYMCA is to store everyone’s membership cards.

This is the type of app I would love to have it has the classes and peograms offered by date and time. Too bad is only for Los Alamos, NM! The YMCA needs to implement this nations wide ASAP.
