Doesn’t work Consistently Customer Suport NOT Diligent

I’ve had the pod for several months now and found that you have to figure out the application and app on your own. A simple manual on step by step processes would be nice. When my pod and vest stopped working on a consistent and reliable basis I reached out to customer support. They would respond without any real support or solution. They would ask me to do a walking test which I did two days after the request and replied with the result as well as information about matches played where one the pod worked and the second match it failed.
No response and then they kick you out of the ticket after 7 days of not responding. The problem is I responded within 4. I have had several back and forth emails and customer support members is willing to work with you completely. They leave you hanging!!!! I believe they leave you hanging until after your warranty is out. NOT PLEASED with with the support.
........
Again it continues to close my support after 7 days when in fact I’ve responded to the techs email 3 times this go around within the 7 days. Never had an issue with other support follow ups before in my life. Simply “ ##- Please type your reply above this line -##”
is not a difficult to do. Defiantly thinking they are avoiding my concerns because they need to replace the pod and vest because it continues to fail and work sporadically.

mediocre

i love the idea of being able to track my stats and ive gotten better and more consistent but there is just too many bugs. When i try to delete a session CatapultOne crashes. i can no longer see the feature myself vs community vs pro and that was a thing that i was very much looking forward to see when i fist got the pod. i need more frequent updates on CatapultOne and articles in the club house. When i was first looking at trackers and which one i wanted to get i it was in between the playr smart coach or the statsport apex, and atm idk if i made the right choice by choosing the playr over the apex. overall decent product but mediocre experience and execution, i expect more and there needs to be a update VERY soon so use the customers to have a better experiences with the playr. again i would love to see the myself vs community vs pro feature again because its a point that you guys did have and now dont and statsports do.

ADD iPad compatibility ASAP!!

The vests works great (purchased two for my kids) but being limited to only an iPhone is terrible for seeing the data on a larger screen. Please add compatibility for iPad - this shouldn’t be a far stretch to add the functionality. We have data we would like to mine but it’s hard on a small older iPhone. Also, I agree with some other users, CatapultOne isn’t entirely intuitive, parents don’t have access to the kids training sessions unless I’m signed up as a coach? Even then I can’t see all their data. Comments or notes for each session on what was worked on would be great to know. This has been great to assess total mileage and strain, like the recovery and other training tips. Maybe spend less money on those and more money on app development/expanded compatibility.

Probably won’t renew trial

I’m reviewing from the apple watch perspective. Concept is great but CatapultOne is not ready for prime time. It seems quite buggy. Several times when I start the iPhone app up it thinks I’m not subscribed. So I try to subscribe again. It then said I’m subscribed and errors out. It can’t seem to detect that I’ve entered my player profile and coaching session setup-even though I have.

On to the usage... first session was great with lots of promise. Could see lots of data points. Second match I saved the session but it never came over to the phone from the watch. Apparently is lost forever which really stinks because we only play one match per week. So I’ll miss a good portion of the trial. Will try again next week but right now it’s just lacking quality. I have pretty new gear iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch version 5.

It was mostly good

At first it was hard to sign up with CatapultOne it took like 45 minutes but when my friend did it with a newer generation iPhone it took 2 minutes but after that it worked great and I can’t wait to keep on using it

Best available to consumers!

I’ve had the PLAYR pod and vest for the last few years and have really enjoyed it!! Seen improvements in my game by analyzing my statistics and seeing where I can improve.

Whenever I’ve had an issue with the pod or vest, the support team (Killian & Ryan) have been really responsive and helpful! Even when they’re across the ocean, the PLAYR team will do what it takes to help with any issues!!

Love so far but add a comment box on sessions

All the information given is great and the vest/gps works great for me. What I think would be a great addition is to add a comment box on each session so the user can comment on stuff like drills used during training, self feedback or how they felt during training, goals/assists in games, or self feedback on games or even notes to watch for the next game.

App needs major overhaul

CatapultOne pretty much suscks. I recently got the vest, its good quality and I was really excited to use it. After my first training session i was eager to see my stats but bam nothing was recorded even though i charged the device for more than 2 hours and the lights were on. i did it again and nothing again. It just says “No session has been found” already issued for a refund. If youre thinking about this or the 300$ vest might as well invest bc im sure those will work properly.

Hmm i don’t know if I made the right choice

I really like the idea of being able to track my stats, I did some research and compared reviews with statsports. Both had bad reviews I ended up going with playr because they have the Apple Watch app which seems to do its job. The phone app crashes every time I want to see my run or detailed stats, so even tough the subscription I can see stats. I got the pod in the mail will test drive it for a week or so, I’ll update my review or I’ll return it

By

Okay

I think it is really cool that you can track your stats and I have gotten better but I liked the old app a lot better!

Buggy app

CatapultOne is really buggy. It’s impossible to invite players onto a team. Every time I send an invite, the player tells me they are presented with an error message that the link is expired (even after just sending it). Since shifting to Catapult, more bugs have appeared

Don’t buy

Considering the high cost; this thing is awful. The device doesn’t register my sessions, CatapultOne doesn’t integrate anything, it isn’t user friendly and is a complete waste of money. Additionally the vest the send is of poor quality. I don’t know if there is another brand that actually works, but don’t buy this one.

Log Out/In Issues

I have only had the pod for one week and I can’t seem to log in. I tried uninstalling CatapultOne and reloading it. Now CatapultOne will not install. I tried resetting the password. So a verification code should’ve been sent out to my email. Been waiting for that... I don’t see and number to call for support. Like the idea behind the tech but needs update app supports bug fixes.

App

CatapultOne worked well for me twice and now it logged me out and I can’t get back in because it just freezes when I click sign in or sign out

By

Didn’t sync

We got it charged up, played a big game, wouldn’t sync with the phone. Tried >30 times. In garbage can as I write this.

By

Not good

It’s signed me out for no reason forgot my password and now I can’t connect my pod to a new a account
