App and hostel were okay for the most part. However, they should have clear pricing and self service for reservation modifications.
I changed dates by chat in the app (pushed the stay by one day) because there isn’t a self service option. They raised the rate on me without informing me and refused to honor the quoted rates.
They should improve their customer service or at least improve this app to inform customers of pricing if their staff is incapable of it.

I have used Selina to travel through multiple countries in the past. I ran into a canceled flight which led me not to be able to go into the country of Portugal. I understood it was last minute to do much but to not even provide CREDIT/VOUCHER to be used at a later date is ridiculous. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SELINA! I would have thought they have better customer service. I’ve stayed in well over 10+ Selina’s but not anymore.

I used the app to ask for help with my booking, it was the worst idea ever, they changed my booking payment and charge to my card when I chose to pay at the hotel. Nobody seemed to care in helping me. Everything was “it is fixed” but it wasn’t, “contact this email”, “contact the hotel” I literally was without money because they charge me more than 2k before the date I agreed.
