Every time I order a taxi, I get a call from the driver asking where I am. I tell them the location is in RIDE but they don’t know how to find it, so then they cancel. I just tried for over an hour to get a car, with at least 10 drivers canceling after calling me.

Typically once you’re in the car they’ll also ask where you’re going, as if it weren’t in RIDE either.

Extremely disappointing. I used RIDE several times but it is now stuck on the page of last use. I downloaded RIDE again and still doesn’t work, only showing the page of last use. I tried to call the company and it said all operators are busy and hung up on me without the option to wait online to speak with someone. I called once again and they said they are sending someone and sent no one. Very unprofessional, if a service is this useless, then this app shouldn’t be offering their services.

App was good. Ever since the update, I’m stuck with the “no internet connection,” at the bottom of the screen on both 3G and WiFi. When you call the call center, it takes hours before getting someone on the phone. Most of the time, the drivers don’t use RIDE to find your location, but rather call you to describe where you’re at. Best bet to keep you from getting frustrated is, get a blue taxi and save yourself the headache of getting aggravated with RIDE. Saving a few birrs isn’t worth it in my opinion 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Yesterday, I placed an order for food using a this app app and upon delivery, I realized that only one item had been delivered instead of the full order. Despite reaching out to their customer service center multiple times, I was informed that I would receive a call back, but unfortunately, no one followed up on the matter. I am disappointed by the lack of effective communication and resolution from their end.

Know these things before you use their Service. I use this app at least 5-6 times a day. When it works out, it works out, but if it doesn’t, it will leave you to wonder who these people are, and you will be left stranded.

Drivers at times accept a job knowing they can’t show up on time. If you cancel, the same driver will accept your request again while you want another driver, and if you cancel again, your account will be suspended.

If you call in their line, female representatives always show attitude and act like you called to talk with them. Very bizarre and unprofessional.

No accountability when it comes to solve any issues about rides and with drivers.

No way to avoid certain drivers you didn’t feel comfortable with after you took them ones.

I would say more than half of the drivers don’t know how to use the GPS, their own app or willing to follow instruction so know where you are going.

They ask you to call them after 5 min if a driver does not call you knowing you called few times to book a this app.

The default home screen is not that of a this app share app. You should be one click away from entering your destination instead of clicking on "order this app" then entering destination. Order this app is a button that should only be shown once all the this app details have been entered not as a gateway to hail a this app.

I agree with most comments/reviews that app is working as intended but I have noticed the gps pin doesn’t seem to work on driver side or drivers decide not to follow or are clueless. As much as it has been talked about, driver asking me a location he knows vs my exact location pinned is quite annoying. this app should make a requirement for training or even review of virtual set up or how to training asap. This is a big issue and becomes a horrible app.

I have yet to have a driver who can read a map. This means that I have to call the driver and explain where I am each time I book, which somewhat defeats the purpose of RIDE .

Although RIDE is good, one weakness of RIDE is that it is impossible to change the language after installation. I hope the developers will improve it.

It’s really a nice app. Please fix the bug that hinders in slow internet connection. It reports an error message “No internet connection. Try again” while there is decent internet connection.

RIDE is pretty good over all but as a feature I believe it will be a great option to be able to rate drivers and give drivers priority based on their rating. This will help to create a better service for the users. In general RIDE is good keep up the good work

Waiting time is short and the drivers are knowledgeable.

I don’t know what I would do without this app. I use it few times a day. Reliable, professional and cheap...great combo! Keep it up 😊.

I use this app most of the time for my this app options and I am grateful for the discipline of most drivers. The trainings the company offer is one of the biggest contributions not only to the drivers in the company but in creating positive culture of driving in the city.

Arrived on time and made the trip easy, knows the location well

He just picked me at the airport and helped me to put my luggage in the car. The same thing when I arrived at my destination. I wish him a good life.

I have sad this app service on multiple occasions, this driver stood out. Most other drivers maliciously drive so slow just to make extra money. This driver was quick and did not do unethical and questionable tendencies of others drivers. Thank you sir and keep the great integrity.

I always use this app whenever I travel to Addis Ababa, and I can confidently attest to its reliable transportation service. As a young woman who wants to get around safely and conveniently, this is the best option. I also enjoy having conversations with the drivers—they’re always so engaging!
