Summary of Detecht Problems 🔥

- The app had issues with tracking and lost ride data during a 1500 mile trip.

- The app is considered pricey for what it offers.

- The feed filtering feature does not work well, showing feeds from far away locations instead of local ones.

- It would be helpful to have the ability to easily share and send prepared routes to friends and family, as well as the ability to further detail routes down to small roads.

The app won’t open on my phone , it was working fine until 3 weeks ago and now won’t open . I’ve tired to delete the app and re add and have turned phone off but still don’t work . Thanks

When I miss a turn it will not redirect. It tells me it will but it doesn't and the screen stays on the old route. The route that it lays out is not the same route when I ride it. It adds in turns.

How to fix Detecht app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Detecht app on iPhone
Update Detecht app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Detecht iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Detecht on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Detecht network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Detecht Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Detecht not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Detecht App
1. On android, goto Settings » Detecht » click [Force Stop]

Update Detecht to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Detecht App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Detecht » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Detecht.

Fix Detecht unable to contact server/ Detecht internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Detecht » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Detecht » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
