“I downloaded Detecht and setup the profile. I selected the distance calculations for miles but the Detecht selected kilometers instead. There is no way in Detecht to change it. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it retains the profile. I tried to contact support with the email they provided but the email address doesn’t work.”
I was contacted by this app through the Apple App Store in a timely manner and they have updated me with a fix. I was able to install the fix with now issue is resolved. Thank you this app team.

I downloaded Detecht I selected miles in settings and was showing kilometers and at that time I was unable to go back into settings to change it to miles.
After a small glitch Detecht has been updated and working as intended and I cannot wait to use it again!
The software company personally contacted me in a very short time to resolve my problem. VERY VERY Impressed with the way my issues was handled. I would highly recommend Detecht and any app that this company produces. They stood behind their product!

I’ve been using this app for about a year now and I don’t start a ride without it. The maps, gps speedometer, and crash alarm are enough to keep me using it. There is much more to Detecht , though, with a ton of potential. I’ve only just started using the social aspect and it’s fun to see the what the motorcycling community is up to across the world.
My wife loves Detecht , knowing she’ll get notified if I happen to go down. No more wondering if I’m okay.

App works great and even finds you the best routes without highways. One thing I would add is, the famous American roads. For example, if we could type in Route 66 and it would map out the entire still drivable portion of it. Or the tail of the dragon in Tennessee. There are a lot of great roads with nicknames that are famous that would be nice to be able to search up. It would be even better if it would recommend it by riding experience level.

...for a new app, and I really appreciate the concept. I found it very easy to set up and configure, since it’s pretty simple — crash and Detecht will call in the Calvary unless you respond and stop it. I personally like this since I often ride alone, and it has crossed my mind that I might not be able help myself after I go down. I also like the ride stats feature. I plan to make use of that. UPDATE: For those of us who already have too many monthly subscriptions, Detecht needs a one-time multi-year fee, if not a lifetime plan.

I am not a big social media person, but Detecht is pretty cool. The best feature is the family tracking. This helps in case the worst thing happens to you. At the very least someone will know where you are. This feature alone is worth the upgraded price.
The other thing, all the cool bikes you get to see from around the world. I am very new to riding but it’s nice to see everyone enjoys being on a bike. Throttle therapy is an outstanding thing.

I have been on two rides of length and when they were saved the missing Data box appears. I can see on my routes page and if I want to take this route I cannot. There is also a problem with my acceration statistic graph it is not working on my rides that are recorded. Why am I experiencing this problem? I am a paid member and would like to know how this can be remedied.

I downloaded Detecht tonight. Was excited about the crash detection feature. I’ve tried 5 times to subscribe to the premium service and all 5 times Detecht has locked up and won’t let me continue.
Update: The issue has been fixed. No issues at all. I look forward to using Detecht more.

Detecht tracks your ride, and also if for whatever reason your in an accident it will contact an emergency contact of your choice and will give them your location. It’s pretty accurate and very user friendly.

App works as advertised but It’s a bit pricey for what you get. No matter what you do to filter the feed to local it still gives me feeds from halfway across the USA rather than in my state or even my hemisphere. I like that I can customize routes away from the highway but it would be nice if I could easily share and send that prepared route to my friends and family. Would also be nice if once I set the route if i could further detail it down to even the small roads I’d like to adjust.

I have been using Detecht for a few weeks now. It’s great I love that if I get into an accident it will text an emergency contact. Up until today, when I open Detecht it does not go beyond the loading page. No matter how long I wait it does not go beyond that point. I uninstalled and re-installed Detecht no luck. This is a sad review for me to write, considering how much I was enjoying Detecht.

I love Detecht with the crash detector and you can save routes for other riders so they can avoid bad roads and construction and be able to see all the cool stuff too!

Great app use it everytime I'm out riding would be nice to have an apple watch app for it and show the speed other then landscape but in all no complaints just suggestions love Detecht

Really wish Detecht wasn’t so buggy. Planning a route is almost impossible as it keeps trying to route you through residential neighborhoods. Downloaded a similar app and planning a route was a breeze. Tried to import the route, however that feature fails as well. Too bad. This could be a cool at. Currently a waste of time.

I love Detecht. Not only can you track your riding but you can create routes and import them. The turn by turn is perfect!

The only drawback is the routing portion of Detecht. I prefer the options on both the Google Maps, and the Waze applications.

I downloaded Detecht was excited to see the tracking and SOS functionality. Tried it on a 1500 mile 5 day trip. Tracking did not work. Lost track my ride data two days in a row. Put the ride in pause to continue next day only to find lost data from previous day. Got frustrated and shut Detecht down and cancelled.

Only problem we had was a very popular road was closed for construction and we went 12 miles out of the way to get back on coarse.
