For some reason I got charged 45$ (I must have purchased the yearly plan and forgotten it?) but when I try to cancel it, it is literally the most difficult process ever. Nowhere on Vegains does it specify what kind of membership you have, when you will be charged again, the customer support chat doesn’t work, and there’s no way to reach out to inquire about the process of cancelling or why I got charged, etc. In their terms and conditions there’s a small section saying that in order to cancel the contract, you have to send an email with certain information (example: when you ordered it - which I don’t know since it’s been forever and of course it doesn’t give you any information about when I apparently purchased it) and your address for some reason. Suuuuuuper sus and complicated, not worth it.

When you open Vegains there is only a login option, there is nowhere to sign up. I also checked the website and couldn’t find anything.

... but why have an app you can’t sign up for.

I see only login screen.
No register. On google play I see explanations to follow Ferdinand’s bio link but there is none.

You got to fix this my friend. When I open Vegains there is not an option for me to sign up.

When I open Vegains I don’t see a sign up button anywhere. The only button there is is the ‘Login’ button. Am I the only one with this problem?

Vegains contents are below average.
The customer service never replies back.
You cant even cancel your subscription I had to speak to my bank.
It is a rip off!

A lot of repeated recipes. Also mad because after paying for three months and finishing the meal planning during that time I was charged again instead of it notifying me at all. That makes no sense. Love this app but Vegains is bad, overrated, overpriced, and run illogically.

I was hoping for oil-free vegan foods and a workout plan. That’s not at all what you get. And what’s really messed up is you have to actually sign up to really see what you’re getting. I asked for a refund a few minutes after buying it and they won’t give it to you. They don’t give you a workout. You have to manually enter what workout you do each day and the exact time. It’s just crap. And if you’re in the US, good luck finding the foods recommended. And the recipes take FOREVER to make, and EVERY SINGLE ONE has oil!!! It’s an awful app, I’m super disappointed and I don’t recommend it, it’s not what you’ll want.

I had massively high hopes for Vegains, as I have been a follower of Ferdinand for years and was excited to try an app that’d allow me to bulk with various vegan meals that met my goals.

Well, the ingredients aren’t local, at least in the USA - i also live in NYC where it isn’t a challenge to find essentially everything if you’re looking, but also, this should be something that easily fits into someone’s day to day.

Lastly, there’s no way to cancel the subscription!!! You have to go through this massive process of emailing them then sending an abundance of info that doesn’t even make any logical sense, just to cancel. In order to cancel, I had to contact PayPal.

Highly disappointed. And more disappointed with the fact that some of my complaints aren’t new, they’re complaints ppl have been saying since 2 years ago - I gave Vegains a chance thinking they’d have changed these small, but impactful, changes. But smh, they have not. Do better.

I found Vegains through his Instagram account. And like many others, find out after downloading that’s there is no way to sign up through app. After reading reviews, I realize you need to sign up for an account through his website. After going through a short online body analysis, it gives you a recommended macro goals and what to expect out of the plan. You do have to pay for the meal plans, there’s a monthly, 3 month and yearly plan. After payment I assume you get your log in info to app. The yearly plan seems like the best deal. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds at the moment. The recipes look great, and Vegains is what I’m looking for. I do plan on purchasing the yearly plan in the future and for those reasons is why I gave it 4 stars. Definitely add a sign up link to your app or at the very least put it in your app description to sign up on website!

Would be nice to see Vegains compatible with iPad. Not the phone version trying to fit the iPad.

Really beautiful interface, easy to use, and extremely helpful. The personalized meal plans are healthy and delicious, and the videos are updated regularly. Ignore the negative reviews from people who don’t know how to use google. Why they thought it was appropriate to rate an app poorly, when they haven’t even used it, is beyond me.
