Energizer Connect Reviews

EnergizerConnect says it is updated with the latest firmware but I am still experiencing the half-screen issue as described by many on here. I only get to see half of the screen when viewing in horizontal mode, and nothing in vertical mode.

Strangely enough, when screenshots are taken using EnergizerConnect ’s “Take Photo” option, the resulting photo is the full screen version!

Also, whatever happened to the option to save the video captures into my mini SD card (inserted into the card slot on the side of the camera) for later viewing? It looks like this feature was removed because I remember that I would clear the memory of my SD card once it is full. Please give back this feature, I do not need to pay for cloud storage when I can utilize a card slot that was functioning properly before. Let it be my choice as a customer if I would like to convert to cloud storage.

EnergizerConnect is great. Simple and works well. I just need to know if anyone else is using the Energizer Connect Wi-Fi Indoor Pan & Tilt Camera with it? I have been unable to focus the camera for a clear shot of the room. I have moved the lens from one extreme to the other and have yet to get a clear picture. As for EnergizerConnect , it works great. Just need some feedback on how to focus the camera. No instructions were included and the help section of EnergizerConnect has not been developed yet.

I love this system and give it a four rating. It’s convenient, reliable, secure , and doesn’t cost me a dime to see what’s going on around my home! How excellent…🤩
The only reason I didn’t give this a five star rating is because I like all the bells and whistles and though this is a great bargain, I would like it to be a little better to appease my every need. I would like the possibility to have a wireless wifi option and I would like to see the option of being able to have an intercom so I could talk at my door. Other than that, I’m well pleased! 👍🏾

My camera works fine when I’m home but when I’m out and really really need to look at it it will never connect. Timer for as around and around and fails. A waste of money

So the developer suggest refreshing the router or unplugging the camera or a couple of other things. So if I understand correctly, when I’m out and my house alarm goes off I check my camera and can’t connect. So I run home reset my router and unplug my camera then I can see if someone is in my house. I have other IP cameras, you know how many need ANY attention in order to work? None. I just thought I’d try the energizer and it won’t happen again. That’s a foolish solution for a product that doesn’t function properly.

I do love this.. I used a button before but would sometimes forget it before I laid in bed..I fall asleep with my phone so I have EnergizerConnect at my finger tips without and worry..Alexa helps a lot to when I don’t have my phone ..I just wish there was a quicker way to do it without having to go further into EnergizerConnect to turn it off (I also can’t see what I’m writing it’s all white so sorry if I misspelled anything)

This has been a game changer for us. We aren’t extremely tech savvy, so these Energizer outlet timers were perfect. They are easy to use/set and give us a peace of mind when we (in the past) wouldn’t get home in time to turn on lights before dark. We have two sets of these and use them throughout the house. We are buying more for Christmas gifts.

I am not even able to pair the doorbell to EnergizerConnect ! I connect the doorbell to power source as indicated in manual. Light on doorbell blinks red to pair but then I go into EnergizerConnect and EnergizerConnect doesn’t even look like the one in the manual and the option to connect doorbell doesn’t appear. I have an iPhone 6s Plus and my internet connection is both 2.4 and 5 ghz.

The cameras are not compatible for automation or viewing the cameras at the same time. The battery powered camera doesn’t even have the option for smart scenes or any automation. Also, the batteries powered cameras will constantly say that it failed to establish an encrypted connection, even though the wired powered cameras are in the same room and will connect fine. Poor return response, even after a month of requesting a replacement. The firmware and app upgrade didn’t have any improvements, for automation features or encrypted connections.

Plug in the switch. Plug in what you want to control and it’s that easy to use. The software is just the way I like it to be - simple and effective. I like that the device is quite. No ticking or whining. 👍😀😎Buy one and you will wonder why anybody would use anything else for controlling a device.

Love EnergizerConnect and it works great. Easy to connect devices. But why the heck is there a giant picture of a house on my Home Screen? Why does every room have to have a random picture that takes up half the screen? Why not fill the screen with devices so I don’t have to scroll through all of them to find one. It’s a great app and worth the investment in devices, but make these random photos optional.

I don’t know if was a new update, but my doorbell camera shows online and then offline. I have a week with the equipment and never before had any problems. I re installed the doorbell and noting. And when shows online last for ever to show the image.

I really like the doorbell camera. It’s clear and easy to talk to someone. The install was also very easy. It is sleek up against the house. My only negative thing about it is how long it takes to load up when getting on EnergizerConnect . I have a newer phone and a great router and it takes a good bit of time to load up. Other than that it’s great!

Spent twenty minutes trying to setup the Alexa skill. will not allow the login to work for both phone number and email. reset the password several time. Allows me to login to the Energizer website account and also allows me to control the light from the Energizer App and that’s about it but it would be nice to utilize all features of this product.
Also light goes offline at least once a week

Installed this a couple of months ago. It has been working just fine. We lose power on sort of a regular basis, so this doorbell cam loses the WiFi connection, but once the power is back on, just wait a while and the cam reconnects. Nice picture too!

Since the update my camera reads offline and I tried everything to fix it! I have multiple and it went out as if me seeing anything only motion picture but reads off line. Very disappointed

It’s so nice to not have to crawl under or behind furniture to plug something in and it’s wonderful to be able to turn on lights at my house if I’m away so I don’t have to come home to a dark house. Wish I’d had these years ago.

Removed existing hard-wired doorbell button and had the Energizer Button installed in 5 minutes.

Purchased at local Home Improvement Store, very affordable.

WiFi set/up for local door bell easy.

I-phone app set-up easy.

I get motion alerts while at work when various delivery drivers come and go.

I have not yet had the need or tried audio interaction.

I did need to relocate the Flag on the front porch as we live in a windy area, and got too many notices blowing up my phone on windy days.

I live in a 123 year old house. Fully automating was not feasible. But these Energizer smart plugs are a great retrofit option at an extremely reasonable price. The devices are very simple to set up and are awesome for outdoor and indoor applications.

Went to Jamaica for my vacation and was able to turn on and off my lights from that location to the bulb’s location here in the US. Excellent in every way and I love it

I have had these for 3 years, and cannot say enough great things about them. I use them everywhere. Living room, Christmas time, they are just the best….

EnergizerConnect needs to separate notifications from recording. The tilt and pan camera is a self resetting piece of junk that does it randomly, then points itself in the wrong direction since I can’t set a home location. There needs to be a better way to download the videos from the camera. All in all, this was not well thought out. There are more options available if you hack into the camera via a web browser, but it only works with IE.

I have to say this purchase of the energizer door was worth the money and time to install, awesome product and well worth the money, buy the way it was at a very low price but it’s worth so much more

EnergizerConnect is ok when it works but boy does that rarely ever happenes. If your phone died, Or if there’s a storm and your power goes out good luck trying to reconnect to you device. It will not reconnect to your internet for any reason then your stuck having to delete the Device. Which when you do that it takes like 10 tries to reconnect to your phone.

Love the doorbell camera. The support was fantastic and us girls got it set up. Thank you. I had tried a different doorbell camera and their support was terrible. Thank you energized connect!

This was a great investment! Easy to follow instructions made the installation a breeze. I put the largest micro SD stick that will work with it, EnergizerConnect works great, too. I was 70 miles away and spoke to the UPS driver, and he heard me.

I love my energizer doorbell it allows me to see what’s going on around my home and when I receive packages it’s great! A wonderful investment.

Been using EnergizerConnect and cam combo for six months, just wish company would put out more performance enhancements and firmware updates for better stability.

Love that I can change the color of my light or the brightness or just turn it on n off with just my phone very convenient when I’m to lazy to get up and turn the light off 👍🏻👍🏻
