My first birth was long and hard. I wasn’t as prepared as I thought to do it naturally, especially mentally. I couldn’t relax between contractions and ended up getting an epidural. I’m super thankful I had a healthy baby girl, but wanted a different labor and birth experience the next time around. I used this app with my second. I listened to it before bed most nights starting in the second trimester. It really helped me pray through fear and align my heart with God’s for childbirth. My water broke a few days after my due date and contractions came fast! I turned my app on and focused on breathing and trusting the Lord and my body to do what it needed. I had a 45min drive to the hospital and it was miraculously much easier than I imagined as I listened to the hypnobirthing tracks and just kept breathing out “Jesus” during contractions. When I got to the hospital I was 9+ cm and rushed from triage to delivery! My labor was about 4 hours total and I know the Lord was with me in all of it, helping me relax and work with my body and baby. So thankful I found this app. Even beyond childbirth, I’ve become much better at deep breathing, meditating on scripture, activating a deep state of relaxation, and I sleep better when I use this app before bed!

I absolutely loved using this app during my pregnancy in preparation for my home birth in January. I read the Hypnobirthing book and really loved the ideas they presented but wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it, but this app really helped bridge the gap for me. I happened upon this app while searching for a Hypnobirthing app to learn more. It gave the scripture I needed to be able to be confident in my ability to do this. I used the techniques I learned through the book and this app during the 72 hours of prodromal labor prior to active labor beginning and then during actual labor. I can honestly say my labor never registered as being painful. There were times I would label as intense, but never painful. On January 13, 2019 at 11:38 pm, I gave birth to our third beautiful baby boy in our home after about 12 hours of active labor . It was the birth I had always dreamed of and I am now a firm believer that you can experience a natural birth without pain and that birth is not something to be feared. This was such a peaceful and beautiful experience that as soon as he was born, I wanted to do it all over again. My wish for every mother is to have a birth as calm and comfortable as mine was. Thank you for providing this app to contribute to that experience.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this app. If I could rate it higher I would, 10/5 stars! After a somewhat traumatic first labor and delivery, I knew I wanted something different with my second pregnancy, labor and delivery. I thank God that I stumbled upon this app for truly these beautiful tracks helped me in some dark and uncertain times during my pregnancy. They have been such a wonderful resource in my pregnancy from the very beginning but especially towards the end when we learned our baby was breech. I leaned on these tracks heavily and they calmed me tremendously in my overwhelmed state. We listened to the Christian Hypnobirthing app relaxation track throughout the entire procedure; the medical staff even mentioned how the Christian Hypnobirthing track helped the entire medical team stay calm and focused. We had a successful ECV at 39weeks and 4 days and I credit it quite a bit to the fact that I was able to relax and remain calm throughout the procedure, thanks to this app. I labored with this app and had zero pain during contractions and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, unmediated with no pain. I can’t recommend this app enough.
