I understand you guys are trying my to rebrand, add some new functionality to PedalCommander , be hip and trendy and make it the one stop shop for all things pedal commander. But boy is the new update garbage. The registration is hard to use and pointless, why should I create an account to change my acceleration on my car. Why is there a new feed button on an app to control my throttle. Why can I shop for other controllers when I obviously already have one, that’s why I downloaded PedalCommander in the first place. The whole thing feels redundant and filler, the old interface, although it certainly showed its age, made sense, was easy to understand, and did the one thing it needed to do well. Control your controller. To the developers, you probably already spent money updating PedalCommander , so you don’t want to revert it and waste your money, I understand. But as a consumer, the old design was objectively better, and easier to use. If you kept the new design for controlling the device but removed the bloat ware aspect, I’d have absolutely no issue and actually appreciate the change. But by adding so many unnecessary things, especially when I only own PedalCommander to do 1 thing, it feels like you guys are out of touch with what your app is even supposed to be.

I thought PedalCommander was perfect before I don’t need animations I’m not gonna sit and watch PedalCommander so it doesn’t need speed on there which doesn’t work. I don’t need to know that I can change between mile per hour in kilometers every time I open PedalCommander now when you, use the power button to turn it off and on in PedalCommander it resets your plus or minus just more you have to mess with that you shouldn’t have to

I rarely uses PedalCommander , the major function is when I’m on passenger and someone else is driving, I get to change the setting on the fly. So imagine my surprise when they changed the whole interface and forgot my device when we were going down the highway and the driver wants a different setting.

The new interface is obviously made by someone who is disconnected with the userbase. The old interface was simple and perfect. Most people who is daring enough to unplug wire on the gas does not need detailed instructions on a app. Nobody is going to socialize on an arbitrary app over how bad they broke the law, and the new avatar is one of those braindead FB avatar design. Also seriously why would a very niche app ask people if they used pc before? Like nobody stumbles on your app.

Having to log in and use it online only tells me that it will be collecting data. I’m no tech guru but I do know there are enough apps and devices tracking our usages. I used to talk this up to people but I’m afraid I just can’t do it now. What’s wrong with only using bluetooth? Why do I have to log in now? For the record, the device works as it should. I used to be able to change the modes and +\- from the dash and can’t do that anymore. That’s a huge bummer. Ever since PedalCommander upgraded I now am unable to use the eco mode because the device won’t let me do it manually. That’s ok. It’s not why I bought it to begin with BUT I did lose that option.

PedalCommander is worthless as to install. Do I need an app to say “disconnect old wires, connect new wires. Tuck wires away.” WOW. I had to Google how to disconnect old wires. It was easy, but PedalCommander should tell you. There is nothing about how to connect your device to PedalCommander . I had to hunt and peck to figuring out. Further, it couldn’t find the device, but it was 100% turned on. I manually entered to serial number (which isn’t on device but on box - ridiculous). No confirmation on connection. Again by clicking around I found how to control the device via PedalCommander . Absolutely terrible design.

At least for products acquired prior to 2023, the required serial numbers are NOT stuck to a label on the back of the module as shown in PedalCommander and in the false belief of PC support staff. They are in fact pasted to the side of the black and yellow box the module is packed in. Without that information this software AND support are useless.
I also don’t understand why, unless it’s for the new shopping feature, you need to create an account and profile. The required serial numbers are NOT stored as part of your account either. Having to do over or moving forward I’d consider Diablosport now Holley.

I’ve had my petal commander for a couple of years. Worked great, loved the simple app interface. New app upgrade does not work, is confusing and can’t be used while driving. Used to show my friends how great it was. Now I will not recommend it to anyone. I was going to buy a second one for Christmas. I will not anymore. No recommendations until they return a simple interface. How out of touch can a company be with its users when doing an upgrade like this.

Previously PedalCommander was so easy to use. I could quickly change a setting and move on. Now, you have to create an account and allow it to track your location? Why? The good news is the pedal commander itself has buttons so I can still manually change the settings. The bad news is PedalCommander is essentially a total loss. Please update it or change it back to what it was. This was an unnecessary and terrible change and clearly your customers aren’t happy with it.

There was nothing wrong with the old app. Why?

1. If I have install an app and REQUIRES me to have my location setting ON just for setup is ridiculous.
2. Had to reconnect my device but atleast my settings came on.
3. Could get back into PedalCommander and from what I read in the reviews is a display font issue.
4. QA in this software update sucked.
5. Bring back the old interface, even as an option. The new interface is too busy.
6. And if it's true you need cell coverage to use PedalCommander, I'm selling my pedal commander and getting something else. My device is behind my dash for a cleaner look and use my app to change my settings when offroading and in the mountain wear coverage can be an issue.
7. Have been using the pedal commander since 2019 and never had one complaint about the interface.

I’ve always loved pedal commander but unfortunately somebody was hired to upgrade PedalCommander and did a horrible job. It is the most on intuitive and bulky app for such a simple device. A new version was installed today 2.0.7 and was supposed to fix some of those issues, but PedalCommander crashes every time I try to open it will not load somebody needs to do a better job managing PedalCommander development teams you’re about to lose customers

My wife surprised me with a pedal commander for my birthday. I was always on the fence about them based on the CEL and issues many people post about them. The PC works but the whole CEL issue and the PC phone app is trash! I think y’all need to invest money into updating the PC software to rid all these CEL issues. Lastly, fix PedalCommander ! It causes almost half of the CEL’s which make it not useful! Fix these two issues and you will have a real award winning product! At least the issues when it comes to Dodge vehicle applications. Not sure how many issues exist with others! Thanks PC! Just please fix the issues!

PedalCommander just had an upgrade and features some opening announcements of changes it wants to tell you about But, the person designing it apparently did not notice that the “button” you need to hit to go through these is NOT where you can hit it. So you end up stuck on one of these pages with no access to the features to change settings!

As a new to Pedal Commander user I must admit I find the device well worth the money and lets my Jeep drive like it should. That being said, PedalCommander is a bit strange, what is with all the extra “stuff” added on PedalCommander? Why not just a an app for the Commander? Shopping for another Pedal Commander in PedalCommander , I own one thats why I have PedalCommander , I don’t get some of the extras in PedalCommander.

The great feature is, because of PedalCommander I have mounted the Pedal Commander box out of sight, I don’t need extra lights and boxes velcroed all over my car, so that is great and why I am giving 4 stars.

You want 5 stars - add Apple Car Play. Why don’t you have your app accessible from Apple Car Play? It would be a 5 star review if you would add that feature.

Idk what people are complaining about, PedalCommander and device have been great and fun to use. They did just release a new update so I will see how that goes but for now I’m really enjoying it since I got it a bit over a year ago.

I installed the Pedal Commander (PC) about six months after purchasing a new C8. What a positive difference it made in pedal response and acceleration! Installation instructions were clear and concise, and the installation was quick and easy. I have experienced absolutely no problems with either the PC or its app and would not hesitate to purchase again.

Had this for 2 years now and couldn’t be happier. For everyone complaining about the connection, they just need to go to pedal commanders website to watch the troubleshooting videos. Also, don’t change the modes on your unit while driving, it’s common sense! 😜

i rate this a 5 because i absolutely love this device. its a game changer on the road and really fun to drive with. i would love an update to make the settings more fine tune because i had all mone at -4 and it drives great and having it more is just too aggressive and full throttle feels like its not moving the vechicle. This device is purely for spirited driving not for spirited racing. The bluetooth works flawlessly when changing modes, but just be sure to not have foot on gas pedal like its stated or itll go into limb mode. **Dont want it in limb mode or the car feels like it'll expolde, 😅.

The install of the tool was extremely simple and connecting to it via Bluetooth worked just as well. I tried a couple different options before leaving it at “racing” for now. The instructions say to make changes while stopped, I think I will err on the side of caution and only change it when absolutely necessary. And stopped.

I have my pedal commander hidden in my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Using Bluetooth and PedalCommander to update the settings. So far so good. Have yet to run into a problem like other people.. though I’m not changing settings on the fly, usually at a complete stop. I followed the instructions and made sure my key fob was well away from my truck and the truck’s computer was timed out before installing the pedal commander. Think that’s where people are running into issues. Could be the fact this has been updated and issues have been fixed. Noticing allot of reviews from over 1 year ago.

This is totally worth the money. I waited and purchased the Bluetooth capability and now my Durango feels amazing. Sluggish takeoffs no more. Super fun and addictive. I run Sport 3 when I drive and the best part is my wife doesn’t know. I can turn it off and on with my iPhone. Personally I have had no issues with PedalCommander.
