Wanted to love it...

Love the Landroid device but WorxLandroid is terribly flawed. I’ve seen the error about Sim activating since we downloaded WorxLandroid . Pretty much makes WorxLandroid worthless. I believe the developers that put WorxLandroid together may need to keep developing because WorxLandroid is horrible!

Missing wire

Newly installed. Light was green. Now it’s solid red constantly says wire missing. It has never mowed the lawn yet due to this. I’ve purchased equipment to look for a break in the line, there appears to be no break. Also did the test loop and it does turn back green but turns red when I put the wires back in that are actually around the lawn. I don’t have enough wire to redo the entire lawn. I regret getting it as I can’t use it at all. I’ve spent a week trying to get it to work. Hate it! Wasted so much time setting up the lawn for this!

Not user friendly & lacks notifications

After installing the boundary wire TWICE (had to bury the 2nd time), finally put the Landroid to work.

WorxLandroid is NOT user friendly & there are NO alerts or notifications when the Landroid is trapped, out of the boundary, missing the wire (cut or disconnected) or if the unit is picked up.

A major disappointment, since it doesn’t address the user’s actual needs.

Upgrades & improvements that are a must have are: Real-time alerts/notifications, ability for user to designate the type of alerts/notifications desired, simplified & more intuitive menu options so the user can easily locate & understand what they’re looking for (such as an option for schedules), the ability to select the mowing pattern to ensure the entire lawn is cut (random mowing re-cuts the same spots repeatedly, while completing missing other spots that become overgrown).

Considering the cost of this device, which is a HUGE investment, WorxLandroid needs to be more robust. The GPS feature is relatively useless without an instant alert/notification that the Landroid is outside of the geo-fencing. Nobody has time to watch WorxLandroid 24/7 to see what’s happening.

Bottom line, way too much manual monitoring required for a $1000+ piece of equipment!

So so

A week in and WorxLandroid is ok. Biggest improvement would be to be able to restart mower after an error from WorxLandroid . Also St. Augustine and Centipede should be added to grass types.

This app was great last year

I don’t know what happened but WorxLandroid is almost useless now. It has a massive delay on what the mower is actually doing. When I select party mode it doesn’t turn on and off. Everything it’s just delayed when I begin using WorxLandroid in 2021. It worked perfect all last summer.

Latest upgrade killed the home button

I just downloaded your latest update. Unfortunately the return home button and pause no longer work now.

Landroid getting stuck and digging holes

Landroid does not recognize when it’s stuck. Dig’s a hole that it later gets stuck in. I don’t understand why it just want stop; backup a meter and half and go a different direction. Plus the active avoidance is a costly and totally useless add on because my droid gets stuck underneath the deck steps all the time

Not bad. Not great.

I really like WorxLandroid and it’s a huge improvement over having none at all with my earlier Landroids. Couple of things that need some attention and would really motive WorxLandroid . 1) Blade Time - love the concept but can’t reset it. So kinda useless. 2) Mowing Schedule increasing/decreasing by percentage - this would be great if it worked. Doesn’t appear to do anything at all. 3) No option to remote drive the Landroid. I can do this with my Roomba... why not here?

Some features not explained

What do the + and - buttons do in the auto scheduler panel? Do they make it run more and less often? By how much? How is this determined in relation to the automatically set times?

Also, is there a way to get my Landroid back online after a manual stop or error WITHOUT bringing it all the way back to the base? Because that’s the only thing that will work. None of the controls in WorxLandroid OR on the actual unit will function once it’s in such a state. Thanks!

Not so good

New system installed. Worked a couple days. Then started showing error “missing wire”. Checked everything and no wire issue found. About 5 hrs later without doing anything the green light came on. Stayed green through out the night to early morning 2:00am. I checked for green light. Later that morning 9am the red light was on again. Error says missing wire. Can’t find any issue. App says offline. Activity log does not update. Last update was 6pm. It is now 9:50pm. This thing is not working properly.

A feature I’d like to see

I think the latest upgrades to WorxLandroid are good - especially the double scheduling. What would be great would be the ability to schedule by zone. This is the one feature that is most needed, in my opinion.

App keeps logging out

Updated: thanks for dev response! Reinstalling WorxLandroid fixed the issue with logouts.

I recently prepared my Landroid for mowing this season and I noticed a couple of issues. 1) The Landroid companion application keeps logging out every day and I have to manually login every time I want to use WorxLandroid . 2) After turning on the mower after the winter break, WorxLandroid and Landroid would not automatically connect - I had to re-add the mower to get it working. I’d appreciate if you could address #1 issue it’s becoming pretty annoying.

It’s good - keep at it

Overall WorxLandroid works well though the latest update wiped out my lawn routine and zones.

It’s a good companion to the Landroid and easy to imagine being a five star one in a few more iterations

App

Hi there.
I’m using landroid quit a long. Recently start to show “manual stop” even no one touch the mower. After few minutes it shows “charging”. Any idea?

I found out. When the worx is totally discharges it need to by changed while it’s turned off.

I have question, if mowing time can be net time. Not including charging. As it hard to adjust. As adding 10% same time do nothing as I increase time during charge.

Thx

Backup straight when crossing boundary wire on downward slope

Backup straight when crossing boundary wire on downward slope. This will eliminate all my out of bounds errors

Love my Worx Landroid!

I’ve owned the worx Landroid for a little over 1 month now and love it. I really enjoy the extra time I’ve gained by not needing to mow the lawn myself. The best part is the appearance of my lawn, it always looks manicured everyday! I’ve read and watched YouTube videos of the issues people are having with the mower cutting the boundary wire, mower outside wire, etc. I personally haven’t had any problems with my unit. My suggestion to new Landroid owners is take your time installing the boundary wire. I know it can be exciting owning a robot mower and folks are anxious to put it to work however I believe a person’s satisfaction with the mower will be directly influenced by how well the boundary wire is installed. Personally it took me two days to install my boundary wire on a 1/4 acre property. Aside from a few minor adjustments to the wire in certain spots after initial install my Landroid has been working flawlessly!

Awesome upgrades to the app!!

The previous version of WorxLandroid was simple and easy to use but convenience seemed to be lacking to some extent. I really like the features that got added as part of the recent upgrade to WorxLandroid . Improved experience for existing customers shows the company’s dedication to keeping its customers happy. Congratulations and great job!

Worx great

It does exactly what it was advertised to do. My Landroid has been mowing every day for a week. I am looking forward to the automatic scheduling. It is presently not enabled, per a conversation I had with Landroid support. I see the potential for a lot more to come with WorxLandroid and the Landroid.

Works great!

Just got my landroid and used it twice this week. It appears to have no issues so far and is so amazing to watch while I sit back and drink my bourbon and coke on the porch.

Bad after update

Screen cut in half. Unusable, unable to read.
Must be a bad update.

2.0.5 update cured the problem.
Looks great, like the new features.

was so happy but now so sorry

it comes with errors that are not there and it's always this means you have to go out and reset it over and over again

Not for US landroid owners?

Bought a WG794 type 2 but WorxLandroid is not useful
