I have been trying for months to change my password and “log out of all other systems”. Haven’t had luck yet and have been told the company can’t do this and I need to call my rental office then I call rental office and I am told I must call the company that runs PointCentralSmartProperties . Problem is I believe someone guessed my password so I have been trying to change the password. Now at the bottom of the password change screen-is a little box that says “log out of all other systems”. Once I click this I get a message stating “YOU DONT HAVE ACCESS TO MAKE THIS CHANGE”. Mind you it allows me to change the password fine as long as I don’t click that little box. This does me no good... I can change my password all day but if this person has access and aren’t fully logged out they can still unlock my doors. Which they have done even while I changed the password multiple times. Such a small problem and I can’t get it fixed. I have no faith that this will be resolved soon either!

PointCentralSmartProperties needs a lot of work but my main issue is that it shows my home being unlocked when it’s actually not snd when trying to lock or unlock it buffers until the command fails! I would like to see some of our money at least spent on correcting the many bugs PointCentralSmartProperties has

It shows your door is unlocked when it’s
Locked, and won’t allow you to unlock the door if it shows “unlocked”. It’s also goes offline daily so you’re not sure if your system is working. The times shown for entry’s and alarm set times are we incorrect too.

Honestly. It’s not good. Most of the functionality is still only through the web app. I don’t know if it’s locked by our property manager or PointCentralSmartProperties , but adding an additional device is virtually impossible. The “schedules” for the thermostat don’t seem to work very well and the “scenes” are really hard to customize.

PointCentralSmartProperties is horrible I’m sure it’s ran up my electric per the comments below most is accurate I had adt coke out and look at why panel wasn’t updating with any devices waste of money installed by apartment complex and can’t get assistance because I’m not ovwner over residence. Will be filing complaint with bbb. Not one device syncs up so leaves my air running or heat running for hours after it says updating or transmitting😡

The system on PointCentralSmartProperties is bad. I try to change thermostat it keeps on losing for like 10 minutes and doesn’t even change

Main reason I downloaded PointCentralSmartProperties is to have the ability to add new users and create new codes from my iPhone. Your website doesn’t show all necessary buttons when you’re using your phone. I have to login to a computer in or to properly add a new user. Thanks!

App occasionally shows door unlocked even though it’s definitely locked. Makes you unsure & nervous whether actually is unlocked. Says we can use app to control lights but still can’t figure out how

I’ve had PointCentralSmartProperties for 3 weeks, no matter what I do to regulate the thermostat it reverts to a setting I didn’t create. The system runs almost continuously no matter what temp it’s set to.
I’ve used both PointCentralSmartProperties SND the website to try to control the settings...no luck. I’m canceling and going back to strictly manual. Waste of money!

I’ve only had it for a week, but every time you lock the door the home screen defaults back to showing unlocked. The door is still locked, but it makes you question it every time!

This doesn’t support HomeKit. It should allow me to control my thermostat and door lock remotely. What is the point of having those on the same system if I can’t control them?

App feels like it was developed in 2011 and isn’t very refined. Widgets in PointCentralSmartProperties are useless. Siri can’t control the thermostat. PointCentralSmartProperties loads slowly.

Basic functions are there but PointCentralSmartProperties stutters a bit. Almost there.

I love PointCentralSmartProperties! The ability to navigate through all of my properties and control the locks and thermostats remotely has saved me hours of driving time and the peace of mind that the doors have been locked during our busy season. The only drawback is that the mobile website url has more features than the mobile app itself such as creating/viewing guest codes.

I love smart home. After using this I find it extremely helpful! My utility bill after using the smart thermostat was cut down $25+ last month!! It’s a little slower to respond but it’s a cellular system which i understand it’s important for my property manager to have over Wifi- one of the reasons being security so I’ll take little delay over compromised security. Great stuff and value!!!!

PointCentralSmartProperties is great. Of course there are a few technical issues here and there when signal is low or when your batteries are low, however when you call customer support, they go above and beyond to help resolve any issue you may be having and walk through every step for you. Randy Provided the most professional customer service anyone could ever have.
