Improved motivation from the 1st day

I installed this app app few months ago and results have been exceptional. FitForBucks motivated me to walk more from the moment I downloaded it. I check my steps several times a day. It was so interesting to learn how many steps it takes to walk from my bed to the kitchen, to garage and around the house. I never thought about this before. Also, it was very easy to connect my HealthKit to this app, just by pushing one button. Yesterday I decided to purchase Fitbit to register more steps and to get even more rewards. Again I was able to connect Fitbit to FitForBucks in just few seconds. I think this app did an amazing job designing FitForBucks . I am finding new places in our city by browsing the reward images and reading information about the merchants. I wish they had even more options in our community. I invited many of my friends to FFB and now we’re competing with each other. It’s like a new fun game, but at the same time it’s very important to our HEALTH. Thank you, guys. Great job on FitForBucks!

Amazing rewards but limited locations

I love how you can literally get free meals for something you can probably walk in 3 days, but the rewards are limited in location. The rewards are mostly located in Santa Monica, CA and downtown LA.

The steps are easily verified so you dont have to keep FitForBucks open. It logs automatically. You can acquire like 40k steps in like a week if youre pretty active which equates to some pretty awesome rewards. BUT! Again the best rewards can only be redeemed at a store that is located in certain hotspot areas such as Santa Monica.

If you live near those areas, you should definitely download FitForBucks. If not, you probably won’t get any rewards anytime soon.

Evaporating & Inconsistent Offers

FitForBucks has very inconsistent rewards, and it’s next to impossible to know the rules, which seemingly can change in a matter of days. For example, Backyard Bowls in Santa Monica used to offer a free smoothie to reward steps, which was discontinued and a 20% off coupon was added. FitForBucks got me in the door to try the shop out, and after using FitForBucks for 20% off a smoothie once, I tried again some days later. The first redemption worked fine, but the second time, I got an error message along the lines of ‘patience my friend, you can only redeem once every 7 days’. This is a real shame, as I wasn’t expecting this, nor were the shop attendants, so I left empty handed as I didn’t have the additional change required for the smoothie. It was particularly unfortunate as I preordered it, so I hope that someone else was able to enjoy.

Just starting.

I am just starting out but so far I am loving it. I am at this point giving a four. Once I check out for the first time we will see if I feel if that needs to go up or down.

The best app!

This is just the best app! It actually doesn’t cheat like other apps because it connects to your watch or phone which really seems legit. Just say wow.... I prefer FitForBucks. Really loved it and there is NO problems I’ve found in FitForBucks!!!!!! There are no problems with rewards... I think some people lie so they can get free steps but FitForBucks deserves wayyyyy more... FitForBucks deserves 5.0 stars no joke... I’ve looked at some BAD reviews and I think they are lying...There is No problems with FitForBucks... No.1 app for me!!!!!!

The best part is that they reply under 12 hours.....

Great App!!!

My friend mentioned this application to me since she was to excited about it.
You could exchange your steps for free stuff! Amazing!!!
I was able to redeem my steps for free chicken kebab at Panini Cafe in Santa Monica ( it was so tasty), as well as free frozen yoghurt at The Yogurt Shoppe in Pacific Palisades! There are other rewards that I am interested in and will definitely will try out.
FitForBucks helped me to be more aware of my everyday steps and also gave me a chance to learn about and check out new stores, restaurant and activities in LA.
Thanks this app! Keep adding new rewards!

Loving my discounts!!

We all walk, so the fact that businesses will reward us is mind blowing! Granted, I’m a very active person and my goal is always a minimum of 10k steps, I get more motivated to complete my steps when I know I’m adding points to my account!
I’m kind of a one trick pony, trading in most all of my steps for açaí bowl discounts (lol) I love that I am earning a healthy snack at a discounted rate and frequenting businesses I may not otherwise go to. I had recommended FitForBucks to everyone I know!!

Deserving of my first app review ever!

5 stars. I’m hooked.

I found out about FFB when one of my coworkers redeemed his steps for a free appetizer at Panini Kabob Grill in Santa Monica. At first we thought it was too good to be true and were curious what waiter would say. But my friend was right and we got the free humus plate (20k steps which is 3 days of walking for me).

Since downloading, I've redeemed 50% off a couple of post-workout smoothies (new spot near my gym), a free class at Burn Fitness, and have a reward sitting in my wallet to try cryotherapy :) Dad and sister are also hooked.

There seems to be new rewards added regularly and I've recently seen some online options too (for anyone that’s not local Los Angeles). I also really dig the clean design of FitForBucks - it's fun to scroll through rewards and "window shop." Well done!

Not All It’s Cut Out to Be

Honestly FitForBucks is pretty cool it does what it states tracks your steps and you can use them towards rewards. Although the downside is that all of the rewards are just (%) off of sites and stores. From my week of trying FitForBucks there hasn’t been any new offers either. It would be cool that if they don’t implement getting gift cards from your steps than maybe use your steps for a charity of your choice. Just something cool to think about. I will still keep installed for a while to see any change.

Great App!

Great app! I've tracked steps and learned a lot about my fitness since I joined the program. Now I catch myself paying more attention to my daily walks. The graph with steps makes it so easy to see the progression and the best part- I want to walk even more! just redeemed my first $20 online reward for anti-aging minerals at HealthPhix! It was so simple and it felt great.
Hope soon it will be more places in San Jose to redeem my rewards:)
Thank you, guys!

Just WOW!!! Best app ever!!

Seriously! The BEST app I have ever downloaded!!
I started exercising, slowly, after a car accident, and heard about this awesome app that rewards you for exercise from a friend.
I fell in love with it the day I first tried it! It keeps me motivated to go out and run or just walk! AND I get to explore all these cool local shops and stores, that I had no idea were near me, when redeeming my rewards!
Absolutely love it!!!!

Not too great.

*****Update: Okay it’s been almost a year since I installed FitForBucks . I was patient and thought I’d give you a little more time to fix things before I deleted it. Well, nothing has changed. The points still expire and the rewards are still useless. App deleted.***** First of all, having your points expire at the end of the month is a horrible design. Then you have the rewards which are pretty much nothing but discounts on things like pedicures or a free cup of coffee when you spend $25. This makes FitForBucks pretty much useless.

Amazing app!! So worth the wait

I’ve been waiting for FitForBucks to come out foreverrrrr. I was on their email list for literally 2 years. The day it released, I downloaded it and fell in love. The steps are updated so quickly and it’s such a clean format. Super easy to use and you can start earning things right away. I already have over 35,000 steps. Love it!!!

Why is there no gift card rewards

Why is there like no gift card rewards cause if there is maybe there would be more people useing it cause all the rewards are like discounts and other stuff that I won’t use cause I am walking. For rearwards but I don’t want like more fitness rewards so I really wanted to ask if you guys can maybe add some gift cards cause I can’t use any of the rewards so yea if you do remember to add iTunes cause that’s what I am looking for and yea bye

I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time!

Thank you to the developer and the ability to get rewarded for the steps I walk and the calories I burn during the day. FitForBucks is great and I love the ease of use. Best way to motivate myself is to set a goal and then get rewarded for achieving my goal.

Glad I found this app!

Awesome app! I used this last week when I was visiting Los Angeles. My UCLA friends are crazy about it!

Since I’m back home at boulder and there aren’t any local vendors here yet, I used 30K steps to save $15 on a Frank and Oak subscription box. I think FitForBucks will go viral at CU Boulder. Places like “the corner on the hill” would eat FitForBucks up :)

For a very specific audience

I’m sure FitForBucks works for some people. It looks like FitForBucks itself works well and I like how easy it synced up my steps but the rewards are all for subscription boxes for things like vitamins, and yoga classes or discounts to specific active wear only stores. Companies on the reward page were: MyVitalC, FabFitFun, Barbell, Lenses for Less, etc. Seems to be catering to white millennials under 30 who live “an active lifestyle”.

LA residents only?

I used FitForBucks for about a week, and I finally got over 40,000 steps. I went in to the rewards and claimed one of them. The transaction took 30,000, but there’s a problem. Apparently you can’t use the 40% off on Klean Spa if your not ordering or buying from the San Monica. I tried everything, and I can’t use the 40% at checkout. The rewards system is for those in LA only it seems like. I just feel like I waisted my time. It’s a nice app, and a good idea. It’s just not meant for non-residents.

Awesome APP

FitForBucks is extremely awesome in every way. You literally don’t even have to do anything at all. The only thing you have to do really is get out of the house and go to places and more places and whatnot. More places/errands, the more steps you’re gonna get!! 5-Stars all the way

No rewards offers in area

I love FitForBucks and the ability to sync my fitbit with FitForBucks . But there are only online offers available in my area...non of which are something I’d be able to use. Please add offers to retailers and other merchants in the Milwaukee, WI, area as soon as possible. Would love to be able to get discounts to salons for haircuts/nails, discounts or gift cards to grocery stores like Meijers or Target, or one day offers to local gyms.

Okay😐😐😐

FitForBucks is ok but it is a little slow and has a few bugs and is a little hard to be able to find out all about what you can do but other than that it’s ok but if I could rate it 4 1/2 stars I would.
