It looks like Yoga was designed for the iPhone, but the fact that you have to place your phone on the floor 2+ meters away from you makes it hard to really see once you get started. This fact also makes it difficult if one doesn’t have a lot of space in their house to work with. Also, the AI, though she has a pleasant vocal tone, is too robotic sounding. I will try some more exercises to see if I grow to like Yoga more, but for the price, I’m not sure it can compete with the other this app app I currently use (this app Studio).
After further practice (day 1 of Easy Flow this app, Beginner), I’d also like to comment on the lack of flow between poses. The video shows the woman in one pose, then we’re instructed to move to the next pose and the video cuts to the woman in the next pose. It causes the practice to be disjointed and not relaxing.
And again, the distance and positioning of the phone from the user along with its size also makes it difficult to watch the pose if one is unfamiliar with it (i.e. trying to turn one’s head while in shoulder stand to see if you’re doing it properly can cause injury). Not sure I will continue to practice using Yoga.
