It took 3 online techs before 1 came up with the solution - I'd thought about. A reset of the sim card.

Purchased your plan a week ago. It took 5 days to get a SIM card that does not work. Was told it would take up to 3 days to get coverage after phone was unlocked...it's been 3 days and still no working phone. Now been without a phone for 8 days because of your incompetence. You can't get a customer service or tehnical support person to help. They just transfer you from one dept to another. Am wishing i never signed up with mint mobile. Sheisters.

I 'chatted" online w/ Mint just minutes ago, asking to be UNSUBSCRIBED from their constant, aggravating, unsolicited email ads. Some of the "chat" answers didn't make sense (canned answers, I think). When I asked once again if they would just UNSUBSCRIBE me, I was told that for ONLY a dollar charged to my cc, I could chat w/ someone else online who could help me! No way that was going to happen. I never managed to get unsubscribed. My aggravation w/ Mint Mobile was just greater than when I asked to be unsubscribed. I felt like I'd just been scammed big time, and it seemed impossible to get what I wanted .... at least not without paying them! Who knows if even paying them money would have gotten me unsubscribed!

Hello. I've been trying to get BACK in touch with customer service since around 4pm today, October 12. It's now 10pm!!!!! When I first got in touch with mint customer service I explained to him that I was an existing customer, my phone was stolen and I just got a new phone and needed to start service. They verified that I was an existing customer. Charged me AGAIN for service and I don't even know how much. I already have an active plan. I got a message stating I was "ALL SET". BUT I'm not because I don't have a friggin SIM card!!!!!! So I got charged another 3 Griffin months for WHAT? They must have activated the phone that was STOLEN!!! NOW I can't get through to customer service AT ALL!!! WHAT A FRIGGIN DISASTER!!! IVE JUST ABOUT HAD IT EITH THIS FRIGGIN COMPANY!!! AND IF AND WHEN I LEAVE I BE DEMANDING A FULL REFUND!!!

Bought 2 iPhone SE’s that they said would be unlocked or easy to unlock if we didn't want to stay with Mint. Now can’t get them unlocked after 5 phone calls. Have been lied to, misdirected, told to call back, told would be called back, told would send codes to unlock, cannot speak to a supervisor or manager or anyone who generates the codes and finally been hung up on. At my wits end. Just filed a complaint with BBB. Worst customer service.

On or about 9-23-21 I purchased a MOT G PLAY 2021 from Best Buy..They installed a Mint Mobile sim and activated it for .The phone works, but several people I called said their phone showed the caller had a hispanic women's name not me. I need help getting the the name problem solved. Some people have not responded back to me because the name they see is unfamiliar.

Bad Service, Worse Support

We travel full-time with our family in our RV so we’ve been a lot of places with Mint. We also have an ATT hotspot plan as our main internet service on the road. ATT is there for us in 95% of the places we stay (and most are in towns and near cities, not in the woods). Mint, however, is usually good for voice, but the 10gb of data we pay for rarely gets used because their LTE service is nearly non-existent in the west. Try chatting to see if you can find some resolution and you’ll waste an hour and a half while someone takes 10 minutes between each response only to accomplish in that time checking an address they were told we don’t live at and resetting our phone, and finally checking a couple recent addresses to let us know, “we’re weak there. And there, too.” Oh, and offered $5 for the inconvenience that our plan with them that we’ve had for 3 years didn’t work in Bend, OR (100,000 pop) or 80% of the places we travel since leaving there. Customers for 3 years and we’ve kept it because it’s cheaper than most service plans and like I mentioned, we have our trusty AT&T hotspot for WiFi that works nearly EVERYWHERE. Why is ATT so much better than T-Mobile/Mint? I mean, it’s absurd how often Mint just fails you when you’re traveling. Oh, and they’re constantly pushing you to refer friends and family—I would never! Run!

Don’t trust Mint Mobile

I spent two weeks trying to get Mint Mobile to help fix whatever was wrong with my number transfer, losing business, losing a lot of time, and losing money. Mint Mobile would have me on phone calls for hours only to not fix the problem, ask me to wait 48 hours to see if the transfer went through, and then have to start the process over again. My case got escalated to the port department twice and they never got back to me, a manager was supposed to return my call within three hours yesterday to three way call with me and my previous carrier to resolve the problem and they never got back to me. No one at Mint Mobile ever did anything real to help me. There is an old saying, “You get what you pay for” so there is absolutely a price to pay for getting a less expensive service - the customer service will tell you whatever they have to go get off the phone and pass the buck to someone else when you have to call back to tell the story again later. Save your money, your time, and your frustration by staying with a carrier you can count on. I returned back to my old carrier today and it works perfectly, headache over. Good riddance, Mint Mobile.

Frustrated and cancelling soon…

I used this plus the hotspot on the unlimited plan, because I’m out of work and this was an affordable option. Without warning, I was out of data. I read the fine print and saw that unlimited wasn’t unlimited- ok that’s pretty basic. It also said that for $15 I could add 5 Gigs back on to last me till the next month. I left it for a couple of days, but with gps demands and application deadlines approaching, I decided to buy the extra 5 G. Immediately- nothing. So I turn my phone off and wait till the next day - still nothing - now I’ve called them and waited while they asked managers, and that 5 gig was spent *before* I bought it cause I had *gone over* so they will not refund me the $15 ( worth a bit more when you’re without a job) and I still do not have internet. I have to travel to free wifi to do basic things, and hope that I can find my way when I travel. I am very upset - I’ve learned my lesson - you get what you pay for 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
