Disaster of an app

Given that cookies are a billion dollar business, it is astounding that GSUSA can’t put up a better app than this. There are 0 tools here to effectively manage troop inventory. There needs to be a site available to all parents where they can log additional cookie needs after the initial order; tracking what has been requested and picked up is totally up to every volunteer to figure out, even though every troop has to do it. Basic support across platforms would be nice (doesn’t work on my iPad). But more important would be adequate functionality for all troops to perform all cookie related tasks every year.

Good if/when it works…

This is my 6th year using this app. It has been awesome in the past years. This year it has been HORRIFIC. One out of ten times, IF I’m lucky, eBudde will launch. Otherwise it’s that never ending star that tries to mesmerize me while I grow older by the second waiting for the dashboard to appear. So so frustrating. I’ve had to do all my TPC responsibilities from my laptop or a browser on my phone.

Inefficient Site

A few years ago when you used the back button it took you back to the previous page, now you have to completely start over EVERYTIME even if you’re just looking at availability for a location or after you complete and action which is time consuming.

Login is nearly impossible

I used eBudde last year with no issues, but this cookie season has been a nightmare. I *might* be able to log in successfully after about ten “failed attempts” even though my information is all correct. Even then, I often have to force close eBudde and reopen it in hopes to have any information populate on the screen, but that often takes me back to the login process and we restart. Cookie season is not the time for such ridiculous amounts of wasted time.

Was nice when it worked!

eBudde is somewhat rudimentary (just like the website) but it was good for looking up info on the go. Now when I try and log in and the star just spins. Up until maybe a week ago I could delete eBudde and reinstall to make it work again for a few hours but now it won’t log in even after a reinstall.

Glitchy and never opens this year

I had no issues with eBudde last year and used it on the go all the time. This year it gets stuck in an endless login loop EVEN THOUGH I have no access issues through the desktop site. I emailed app support and they told me it was an access issue. Others in my council are having similar issues though can sometimes get it to open if they log in via browser first then open eBudde . That’s not working for me but is also super clunky.

Fix the glitch!!

Hello???? Is anyone reading the many reviews posted here? Volunteers like myself have been posting the issues we are having and it seems nothing is being done to rectify the problem!

Using eBudde on my iPhone is a nightmare now. It worked last year, however now it does nothing but show a blank screen when I login. I uninstalled and downloaded it again and the same thing happened….nothing. Very frustrating!!!

Practically unusable

On my iPhone 10 it seems I can log in one time after downloading eBudde , then it won’t work again after that unless I delete it and download it to my phone again. It seems to work better on my partner’s newer phone but I need it when I’m out picking up cookies so it’s not helpful. They need to fix it if they expect us to be able to use it.

No longer works!

I was using eBudde fine last year but this year it keeps breaking! After I login in a couple of times, I have to completely delete eBudde and reinstall, because it never gets past the login screen. The login star will just spin, and spin, and spin, and SPIN BUT NEVER LOADS. Please fix eBudde ASAP - our cookie season begins in five days and I’m deleting and reinstalling eBudde DAILY at this point.

Continues to crash

App worked fine last year and, even though not the most user friendly, I didn’t have any major issues. This year it continues to tell me I have an invalid login 3 times in a row before it crashes and force quits. I have tried to uninstall and redownload numerous times without any success. I can access via the web but don’t feel it is as easy to get to needed info as on eBudde . Please fix!

Worst app ever but would be super helpful if it worked!

I have to uninstall and reinstall every year. Each year I hope that it will work and yet every year it continues to prove what a huge disappointment it is. As volunteers trying our best to run a cookie season on top of other Girl Scout obligations (and also just being a parent, worker, etc) eBudde is supposed to help make our jobs easier. Yet in the last 6 years I’ve been attempting to use it, it hasn’t once worked the way it’s supposed to. Either work on updating it and improving its development or just get rid of it!

Needs updates

Very disappointing app. 3rd year in a row it is constantly causing more problems. Can’t log in, app crashes, have to install, delete, re-install and even still doesn’t load or function properly. We are forced to use eBudde for Girl Scouts and I cannot complain enough about it. In this day of age it is inexcusable, find a better software or get a new team of people to spearhead permanent app improvements.

Pile of junk

eBudde is a disaster. It doesn’t let intuitively reset your password. And when you figure that out and you finally log in… you’ll either get a white screen, a loading star that doesn’t resolve, or you get to the dashboard and none of the buttons/links work! When you’re volunteering and responsible for paying for any cookies that go unaccounted for eBudde makes life miserable!!

Used to work so well

I have used eBudde and put up with small quirks but after the most recent update I either get in and have a blank screen or the star just spins and spins. Reinstalling doesn’t help at all. If I do successfully get logged in it’s one time only and the next time the crazy blank/spin starts again. I’m sure the dev team is working on fixes so please hurry before our cookie season ends.

Good functions, but gets stuck

I love all the functions available in eBudde. I can’t get the this app site to work well on my phone, so eBudde is super exciting. However, every time I make an update to a girl (adding a money transaction or cookie sale), it freezes there and won’t let me go to any other option, including the home page or help unless I close eBudde , re-open and log back in. Then it does the same thing when I update the next girls info. It is very irritating.

So Frustrating

The this app website is not at all mobile friendly. So eBudde is vital for volunteers who are constantly on the go or trying to multi-task with other responsibilities. However, the inability to even get logged in these days is beyond ridiculous. We have spent the entire season not being able to use eBudde. This has made this cookie season so much harder without being able to access this app on a mobile device. The functions are great. Reliability however, is beyond terrible.

Really glitchy

When it works, it’s great. Keywords being “when it works”. They should create a feature where you’re offered the option to automatically log out after a certain amount of hours or they should figure out how to keep you logged in like a social media app. If you login and then try to go back hours later, it’s impossible to log back in (it just spins like it’s loading but doesn’t do anything). It’s easier to access the desktop site on the mobile versus waiting for it to come around

Glitching after 6.1.1 update

I have never had an issue with eBudde. I’ve been using it for about 4 years. This week, I’ve not been able to get eBudde to launch properly, I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work properly. This only happened after the 6.1.1 update.

Okay…Needs some Updates

I’d say the most frustrating thing is eBudde doesn’t stay logged in so I’m constantly having to log in. Also I wish when picking booths you didn’t have to restart the search. And possibly offer a better way to search for booths. Some more user friendly adjustments would make it perfect!!!

I think I like eBudde thus far. 2 points: it looks simplified and user friendly. We shall see. My recommendation, give it a try.
