Upgrade your app.

You are doing a disservice to both your franchises and your customers with such s clunky app for your đđ«đžđŠđąđžđ« customers to use. The history can not be refreshed so that recent preferences can be hi lighted or old items skipped or deleted. When you get to the bottom of some pages you get kicked back out the home page where your entire content has to reload - slowly if you have a substantial hx.

You obviously value your repeat customers but app discouraged people from bothering to take the time to save time. I frustration with repeatedly getting kicked back to the home page I am better off often just walking the two blocks to the store and standing in line.

I hate to rag on your otherwise wonderful service to the quick service you provide to the health seeking busy public services you proudly provide if you choose to live by TropicalRewardsApp you may die by it as well. Sorry but what else can I do to improve your otherwise great service. I am sure that Starbucks went through something like this but successful company’s find the solutions their customers need.

Convenient BUT 2 things:

First, I order every day through TropicalRewardsApp. Every. Day. Only way I order bc the wait can be too long. I love the convenience.
That free supplement award I receive should be applied to online orders too. What’s the point in giving me a reward for using TropicalRewardsApp and buying from you but can only get the free supplement if I order and pay in the store? As much as I order, I should get that discount when charged online.

Second, what happens when they “ran out of carrots bc truck hasn’t come in yet” for my Orange Ginger Glow? I also added ginger and added chia seeds. Fair thing to do is give me $.99 back since they didn’t have a main ingredient...the reason I get this smoothie is bc of carrots. And sometimes when I arrive, whatever extra thing I added, they ran out of so I pay an extra $.99 for absolutely nothing. No refund. If an ingredient is unavailable, it should not be listed. As many times as that’s happened to me, I should have a free smoothie.

New update is terrible

I’ve been waiting for an update to TropicalRewardsApp for a while, having been promised by the stores proprietor. Unfortunately this update is terrible. TropicalRewardsApp now easily takes 10 times as long to load, with a non-stop spinning loading icon. Secondly it crashes no less than two times per session. Once when I’m trying to create my order and then heading to check out. Thankfully when I reload TropicalRewardsApp it held my order in the cart so I don’t have to start all over again. This is also not random, it is consistent behavior as it is happened to me more than one time since the update of the application.

My other gripe is that I’ve probably missed out on $20 worth of free supplements because TropicalRewardsApp does not deduct the one dollar savings from my account. Lastly it would be great to be able to input a gift card as a payment method as I sometimes receive gift cards to this establishment. Being in the tech industry I will say that it’s really not that hard to get apps right these days so the company that makes TropicalRewardsApp really needs to get their act together.

Best healthy “Fast Food” chain in fl

I’ve lived in florida my whole life and now am going on a year vegetarian and tropical cafe has turned to my official on the go grab ! All the stores i’ve been to ive has amazing service from efficiency to friendly & cleanliness! at one point there was a back order on the beyond chicken (veggie chicken) so it wasn’t in for a while which was fine to me because i only got the “beyond chicken” a few times . I come in in the morning and the manager sees me at the door and once i got up to the register he was the first to let me know it was back in store even before i put my order in ! Now that is going above and beyond for the guest coming through the door ; the neighbor feeling ! Your doing great with my home store 6339 NORTH ANDREWS AVENUE

Constant crashing

Since latest update, non-stop crashing. Particularly on previous orders tab. Couple of suggestions...allow a user to save a favorite order or two and display them better than on the previous orders tab. Only being able to read the first few words is not enough if you’re ordering for a family of 4 at times. Being able to see the full order quickly will be a lot more user friendly. Also, create a way to put special requests in text form. Such as...”extra dressing on the side” or “I have a refillable cup I will be bringing in”.

I frequent my Trop very often (first name basis with everyone who works there) and I love the team at my location....these suggestions would not only make it better for my customer experience but also for those employees as well.

Fix these things and my rating will 5 star.

Food=5 App=2

Restaurant and food are the best, nuff said.
TropicalRewardsApp unfortunately is a different story. I saw most of issues mentioned in other reviews. There is one big issue for me that I didn’t see mentioned. Could you please add the sauce, specifically chipotle, to TropicalRewardsApp .
For every other ingredient to the sandwich, I can ask for more or less except for the chipotle. Depending on who’s working I sometimes get charged 30to50 cents. The cost is not the issue. For me it defeats the purpose of ordering online and having a “cashless” transaction. I know “American” problems right. The convenience is great, just hope you care enough to keep improving it.

App has been crashing

TropicalRewardsApp have been crashing since last Monday(at least). I tried to order on mobile as usual and go pick up my BD smoothie($2 off). It kept crashing every time I tried to scroll thru smoothie. I went and ask the people at the store to see if anyone has complain about it, seems like none so far at the time. But it is seriously annoying. The employee there said it could be an update and I did not update it, or it could be my version of the phone that does not support. I really doubt both of the possible cause because I checked everyday and there’s no update and also my phone isn’t that old(iPhone 7plus) yet to not support it. And after seeing everyone’s review. I’m now for sure it wasn’t my side problem. I love tropical smoothie, and really hope TropicalRewardsApp get fix soon to change my review back to 5 stars.

Limited options on customization

I have been using TropicalRewardsApp for a while and I just realized you can’t make certain changes in your order. I ordered the Peanut Paradise as I ran out of bananas in my house but I still wanted a chocolate shake. It doesn’t come that way and there’s no option to change the flavor of the shake or add chocolate. Chocolate isn’t a “fresh add-in” and doesn’t appear at all, except on a chocolate shake. Which of course can’t be made to be vanilla. It’s as though all of the shakes are made to order and that’s all you get via TropicalRewardsApp , but I’m sure in the actual store you can make as many changes as you want. I just wish TropicalRewardsApp provided the same flexibility, otherwise it’s frustrating and doesn’t necessarily defeat the point of ordering through the store.

Would be helpful if you choose cash or card

Our online order that we sent in didn’t actually go to the store, so having the card linked wasn’t that useful. I could see enabling it for when I didn’t want to have cash on me.

However, the next time I went in to pay, the card option went through automatically. The very nice employee showed me how to turn it off. But I wanted to use cash from our spring break fund instead of our card. I guess it all spends the same, but this reduces the usefulness of TropicalRewardsApp for me to just keeping track of my rewards.

My expectations of being able to tell the employee which I wanted to use was likely unrealistic. But it looks very much like on TropicalRewardsApp that if you remove the card, you removed the card.

Not as good as other popular restaurant apps

You always have to be really careful when using TropicalRewardsApp. The closest location isn’t always the first one listed as it does not account for the distance involved in the actual route. Meaning, it may list the location as being 3mi away but it takes 8mi to get there. The 2nd location may be listed as 4mi but it’s also 4mi route. The previous order section is a disaster because, it adds it to the shopping cart when you touch it, as opposed to being able to view it and manually adding it to the cart if you wish. There isn’t a save to my favorites for food like the Dunkin’ Donuts & Chik-fil-a app. But, if you are paying close attention TropicalRewardsApp does what it’s supposed to do; not necessarily what you want it to do.

Great food but App is difficult to use

TropicalRewardsApp has changed a few times over the last year. Used to be able to save your favorite orders and one click order. Now you can see past orders and add them to your cart. When I tried to update a couple of items, it update every item with the same entree name(i.e., chicken pesto). I usually get one pesto with tomato and one without. It showed both the same so I removed tomato on one of them but app changed to both items. App also refreshes every time you look at an item and return to the order even if nothing changed; big time waster.

Love the convenience, but there’s glitches

I use TropicalRewardsApp a lot! It’s convenient for me to order & have it ready for pick up by the time I get there, due to my hectic schedule. >_< BUT! I ordered online on Mother’s day, got there & they closed early! :/ I was still charged! But went all the way back home (30 mins. away) with NO SMOOTHIES :( Would’ve been be nice if TropicalRewardsApp was linked directly to the store & stated that it was unable to complete my order before charging me. Luckily, I didn’t make a big stink about it, because I LOVE this place! I came the next day, ordered lunch & told them about the mix up. I ended up picking up that order on the way home later that day for dinner :) ....What would also be nice is that you could use your app in-store & pay with cash!

Tropical smoothie isn’t united amongst each other

I got 2 of the surveys and filled them out to redeem discounted rate. I went to a location to be given a hard time and was told the manager would call me the following day. Very disappointed with the conversation that was had. Customer service is not what it used to be the manager took receipt and told me to got to 1 or 2 other locations to see if they could redeem bc their equipment was not updatedđŸ€”
I said this is Tropical smoothie right he responded we are not all the same. I always have issues with this location and it’s caused me to lose 2 survey discounts! Pretty frustrating! Don’t use the memorial location in Oklahoma City ok. Go to Edmond or other location. They seem to let me down every time I visit! Poor service. I guess people just don’t care anymore as long as they get their check.

Great place

This is by far my fav smoothie place to go the food and smoothies are great however the service has gone down some since opening the cleanliness has as well like when u walk up because u have an online order sometimes u have to say something to them instead of them greeting u and asking if u have an order and friendliness cleanliness and correctness of orders either makes or breaks a food place. There are a few that always smile and make sure they ask but not all of them so that is something that can be improved upon for sure other then that they are great

Amazing

My co workers and I always eat out every Friday. We all place our own orders and one of us goes and picks them up. Everywhere else, everything is so messed up. Half of our orders are never right, the food is cold, they miss someone’s food, on & on & on. When we decided to find a healthier place to eat out, we came across Tropical Smoothie. Everything from our food to the pick up is amazing AND organized. We have been ordering every single Friday for the past month and we do not plan on changing that!! We love our local Tropical Smoothie. My ONLY complaint, we need more around Cincinnati!!!
