I downloaded BoilingPointApp while eating dinner and asked the cashier to scan my barcode when paying. After leaving, BoilingPointApp noted I had 52 points. I was so excited I was accumulating my first points! Two weeks later, I decided to give the online ordering through BoilingPointApp a try - I selected two items. When checking out, it kept telling me one of my items was unavailable and prompted me to continue with 1 item only. I finally figured out it was due to a meat substitution, changed it, only for BoilingPointApp to give me an alert that the order could not be placed. Eventually, it prompted me to a pickup time 15 minutes later. Ok, so I finally made it through a lot of trial and error, placed the order, got the order number, and when my husband gets to the restaurant they tell him the order doesn’t exist. To add insult to injury, I look at my barcode and it now says 0 points. What the heck is going on?! Was pretty excited about the rewards system / app and now I’m left feeling seriously let down.

Using BoilingPointApp is so inconvenient. You have to write down your long acct number on the receipt. When you reach your free $10 coupon, you click on the coupon, but DO NOT CLICK on the coupon unless your ready to pay. I made a mistake of clicking on it to look at it and it deleted my coupon. And they will not honor it. Wasted my time and memory on my phone.

I don’t see the point of an app if you can’t even scan your barcode to get the points but you have to manually write it down on your receipt. Plus there’s no exclusive deals for people who do download BoilingPointApp like a birthday coupon so there’s not much of an incentive to use it - half the time I end up forgetting to pull out my app to get the points. It’d be nice if they could figure out a way for us to takeout order and pay through BoilingPointApp and that way get the points automatically.

BoilingPointApp signed me out and I tried signing back in using fb and it’s telling me to do one last step which is to link my fb account to it. Like how? After putting forget pw it wouldn’t allow me to reset.

If my voucher expires yall better give me it back some how and then some….Sounds like a freakin scam when all of the sudden it logs me out when I’ve been signed in for over a year. Excuse me?

I have been enjoying boiling point for more than 0 years and I started using their app pretty early. I set up my account with Facebook log in and things were good until recent updates. The system does not allow me to log in with Facebook saying that you already have an account, sign in to merge with Facebook account. I clicked yes, and it moved to a page where it seems that I can log in with an email address (the same email address I used for FB). Since I never actually set up an account other than using Facebook to log in, I clicked forget password on the pass then got “you have an existing account with social media and I should log in that account” ( which was exactly what I was trying to do. So I can’t log in any more. Can’t get access to my account and lost my points forever. Maybe I should cut myself off anyway, their prices went up like crazy any way.

I downloaded and signed up days before my friends and I went to the restaurant. We spent a lot of money on food and I couldn’t even reap the benefits of getting any points. I asked the servers what could be done and they simply said BoilingPointApp had a bug and maybe if I deleted my account and signed in with Facebook or apple it might work. I did both and nothing changed. It could’ve been worth it …

When ordering through BoilingPointApp for in-store pickup, points are NOT credited to a user’s account even if logged into BoilingPointApp . This appears to be an app design error. Worse yet, there’s no way to get credited for these missed points. Employees at the store don’t know what to do. Emails to BP Corporate go unanswered.

After a recent app update, the ability to check wait times for tables no longer works. Clicking on it on BoilingPointApp ’s main menu returns an error message.

The only reason I had BoilingPointApp on my phone was to check the wait list. Now that the functionality was either removed or is buggy as “Check Wait Times” option is visible in BoilingPointApp .

BoilingPointApp itself has so much potential to expand. It currently mainly only does point accumulation. I hope that the developers can integrate online ordering for pick up at the store. Most stores are super busy and when I call they never pick up. If we can also pay on BoilingPointApp and get the points on it, that would make the servers life so much easier. They also should include a menu on one of the tabs.

The points does not register right away.

There should be a barcode on the receipt to scan for the points instead of the user having to write the barcode number on BoilingPointApp by hand on the paper receipt.

It would be great if the user can place orders on BoilingPointApp and pay on BoilingPointApp , and have the points registered automatically.

Can you add the dash “-“ within the member ID just like how it appeared on the check? It’s very challenging the write down the member ID when all the numbers are groups together.

I remember when I was pregnant, I used to go here almost everyday. And our place is just a walking distance.

I always love there boiling hot soup and great service and wonderful food and great place to chill with your friends.. my number 1 boiling point is the best to go eat and chill... I would definitely recommend this place of boiling point with my friends and family..

Cooking and boiling your food at the same time. Awesome way & fun way of eating your food & soup. It warm your whole body & tummy and makes you feel so good and wonderful. It’s a good comfort soul food. Recommended for everyone.

Excellent flavors, ingredients, staff and ambience. We always recommend this to all our friends and they never stopped coming after they tried it themselves.

The service is swift and efficient. Luke was patient and spoke both English and Mandarin.

I like the menu. Short. Sweet. Easy to decide. It’s also posted on the wall for a colorful display.

The clientele can be rude. The establishment has a seating system that texts you....twice. BUT I see a lot of folks late and have some sense of entitlement. Either your party is ALL HERE or isn’t not.

Even with all the loud cultural-clutter and late patrons, it’s still a wonderful place to eat any time of the year.

All the servers are smiling and patient. Thanks. It’s refreshing to see your smiles.

I have not had better soup in all of greater Seattle. And for me, that’s saying a lot. I have eaten here almost every day in the last two weeks. Because I just can’t get enough of it. I’ve tried every item on the menu. And have found a passion for the lamb. Truly exquisite cuisine. Hands-down. The best.

I am giving it a 3 because the way to accumulate points is still very clunky. I was told to write down my membership number in the receipt. I think it would be much easier if there is a way for us to simply scan a barcode to accumulate points. Or maybe have us pay thru BoilingPointApp . Writing down membership number and rely on human to type it into the system is a very bad design.

Feature request: wait position tracking (send notification when table is ready along side with text)
