Merely a subscription instrument

No thanks 🙏

Maps

Terrible to no search feature evident.
Warning beware there is no Internet or cell service in Yellowstone Park. Bought this and other apps and were unable to use with our cell service. Now I’m struggling to figure out how to cancel this subscription.

Not User Friendly

Not user friendly.

Difficult

Difficult to use and navigate. Need something that just has details of the trails or attractions at the park.

Lots of ads, no way to filter

Just for 30 seconds, lots of ads take up the screen real estate about 30%, and no way to filter only national parks.

Too many ads

There are just too many ads, pops up at almost every click

This app is a scam

Once you subscribe there is no way to stop automatic renewal charges to your credit card. I’m trying to cancel mine and there is no way to do it.

Glitch

Attempted to use this multiple times during my trip to different NPs and it was glitching. Not losing at all. Useless to have went there is no phone service as well. Needs an offline option.

Notification Spam

I’m not loving the way that NationalParksPocketMaps assumes I want notifications from every single park I viewed the page of. I don’t need updates on all these parks that I’m not currently at!

Update: I turn off the alerts for each park and I still get alerts for those same parks even though it shows that I turned that off!

Subscriber review

NPS sites provide same info. Buy the year subscription and try to view a National Monument. Oops. Need another subscription. Buy the year National Subscription and try to visit a National Forest. Oops. Need another subscription.

Poopie

To busy trying to sell me something - check out a little more May just delete

Not working

No longer works on iPad crashes when trying to open. Worked before last update.

BEST app for national park maps!!

Very detailed and reasonable prices for subscription, worth every penny if planning trips to national parks and monuments!!

This has everything you need for the parks!

Maps, brochures, weather, park status & alerts…. It has everything!

Great

I really enjoy NationalParksPocketMaps and the info it has. Great maps of the places I love to hike. Dave

Informative

Helpful to see the weather alerts!

Accurate

Wherever I went the map provided accurate information.

Yellowstone

This moving map got us through Yellowstone. The park has inadequate signage. With the use of your map, we could see upcoming sites and stops.

Great app

Shows me what I need to know (where, what to see etc.) for setting up my trip. You don’t realize how many amazing places we can see at our National Parks until you view them on NationalParksPocketMaps.

Love the app but I lost compass at the top of my map

So far it is the most accurate map I came across for hiking, but I seem to lose a Compass indicator at the top of my map on the left side? How can I get it back
