Fax from iPhone - Zap Fax Reviews

I was really excited to hear about FaxfromiPhone because I knew there had to be a better way to fax than running to Office Depot every time. So I was very thrilled when I was able to fax from home. However, I signed up for the premium number and at times it will say that the number that I’m faxing to requires a premium umber so it takes me to the screen to pay another $10 when I have already signed up for it. It’s really confusing and I don’t want to keep paying when I’ve been told that I had payed for a premium number before. A lot of potential but that’s my setback on FaxfromiPhone .

Needed to fax something right away so got onto my iphone and went to the iphone store looked up fax and found FaxfromiPhone. Downloaded and just basically took a picture of the document and faxed it.....2 minutes later a notification was sent to me confirming that it did fax it including the place that it was faxed too!! Super easy would've kept it but ppl rarely fax these days and it was asking alot after the free trial. Besides the price its a great and easy app to use!

This is Not a free fax app. It offers a free trial period of 3 days and then an annual subscription of $99. I rarely need to send a fax but couldn’t find an app to send faxes without a subscription. I thought I’d try the free trial so I purchased it. You should get 3 days to try it before getting billed. It immediately charged my credit card as I get notified when a purchase is mad. I canceled my subscription within minutes of starting my free trial. I only sent 1 fax and it was not readable by the recipient so I had to drive somewhere that had a fax machine to use anyway. I only need to fax once or twice a year so if I could find a fax app that would just charge by the fax, that would be what I need.

First, the positives:
- The accessibility and basic act of sending a fax is simple
- option to add cover page or not
- Status updates are helpful

There are a few nuances:
- There is not a great way to attach docs, for example, a PDF in your saved files. The options are to attach a photo or “scan document” which is basically take a picture with your phone
- Because you’re sending photos, the fax image quality is just not the same as an actual document would be and I ended up have to try 3 times to get clarity on the fax
- App is a little cumbersome to get around…it would be nice to be able to open document on phone, click the share button, and select the fax app to send via fax

I don’t know this is worth spending the money for a subscription. The other fax service I have used was not as simple, but much more efficient because you can just attach a PDF or other document with ease

I have a big problem leaving my house but I had to get a bunch of forms faxed right away my anxiety level was through the roof my daughter told me mom you can fax right from your phone I couldn’t believe it but it’s true I sure can I’m so thankful and it’s free to send fax they offer much more very reasonably priced and it’s easy to use I’m so thankful and amazed if you need to fax then Fax Zap is the way to go they get 10 star’s from me

If your having trouble canceling follow step by step:
-Click docs in bottom right corner
-Click scan & fax at top center of page
-Click on settings (looks like a gear)
-Click “cancel number subscription” A box is going to pop up
-Click take me there
-It will then take you to your active subscriptions on your iPhone go to “ZAP FAX” click on it
-It’ll then take you to “edit subscription”
- At the very bottom of the page click the bar that says CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
-Confirm cancellation

My fax DID go through and the person DID receive it. FaxfromiPhone itself was actually easy to use.
I was going to keep FaxfromiPhone but they purposely make it hard to cancel to keep your money. Instead of going through this ridiculous process to cancel they should make it easier. I guess if they make it impossible they can just keep taking peoples money.

I was totality surrounded by the space invaders!!! They are constantly attacking my brother ship and I knew I had one chance left to survive! I pulled out FAX ZAP and it glowed brighter than the sun!!!!! As glorious as the heavens it sparkled and blinded the alien scum. With a click I sent a fax and it flew past the blockage of alien beasts. I received confirmation my fax was completed and the Milky Way fleet of space farce came to my aid and destroyed the evil life forms!!!! THANKS FAX ZAP YOU SAVED THE SOLAR SYSTEM FROM ETERNAL COLLAPSE!!!!

It’s great to be able to scan and fax from wherever I have phone reception. However, it took me a while before I could figure out how to use FaxfromiPhone and I accidentally sent a couple faxes to the wrong people before I got the hang of it. How embarrassing! They contained personal info. Also, it uploads to the cloud before sending. Therefore it would be GREAT if there was a way to delete a fax AFTER it was uploaded but BEFORE it was sent to give one time to retrieve mistakes.

Today is December 17, 2020 I have FaxfromiPhone already downloaded and paid for on my Apple ID which translates over to my iPhone 12 pro I was charged three times in one day 999 I’m looking at the charges right now I don’t understand what’s going on but I knew that I need to have credit for three years to my understanding you guys have charged me three times in the last two weeks 999 this is supposed to be a year subscription and if it supposed to be 999 a month then you have charge me three months either way I need resolution someone please contact me again it is December 17, 2020 and the time is now Eastern standard 12:57 PM

I have a couple issues with FaxfromiPhone. First, there is evidently no way to import a pdf document unless you scan it yourself with your phone or save it as a jpg file and import each page that way. That becomes impractical with large documents, try 45 pages. Second, I mistakenly paid the year subscription ($99) which the free trial defaults to and it looks like that doesn't even include a fax number, available for another $9.99/ month. While it did seem to fax at least one single page document, I will never get my moneys worth out of this application. What a colossal rip off.

I originally paid for the monthly membership, then canceled it and decided to purchase the annual. Once the one month ran out I no longer had the ability to send or receive faxes. I wrote to customer service, they said they fixed it, and I again tried to send my urgent fax and it asks me again to choose a membership. Apparently the premium membership I paid for isn’t good enough. If they actually fix it, I will consider changing this review, but I am of a mind that if you pay for a service, you shouldn’t be asked to pay again once you go to use it.

Nowadays people/businesses rarely fax a PDF through an email will suffice. However, there are businesses that still require a fax and I really did not want to go to a UPS store to do this. When I looked up places to fax near me this ad app popped up. I checked it out and was so relieved that I could fax from my phone and then receive confirmation that it was successfully completed! Thank you!

This was perfect I did my faxing while I was at work and could have done it at home. It took me a couple times to get a picture that wasn’t blurry or zoomed in but it was super easy to use and just a tip make sure the person your faxing too is awake otherwise you’ll keep getting notifications until the person responds. But I’d 100% recommend FaxfromiPhone!!

Really easy app but just wish it was less than 9.99 because I’ll probably use it twice a year😕 You should also have an option to just fax under five pages should be X amount of money..Just saying people like me, Who don’t have a lot of money but needs to fax something every once in a great while, should be a little bit more cost-effective. Other than that hopefully everything goes through and I will not have any problems.

This is so quick and easy it’s unbelievable. I wish I had found FaxfromiPhone a long time ago to make my life easier. All the money and time spent running to staples to fax things is history. It saves everything you fax and you can even create PDF’s if you want to save it in case you need it again. It sends you a message in seconds confirming your fax when through okay. It’s literally the best app I have.

I don’t use to make business with faxes but sometimes it is necessary to send or receive some docs (medicals offices requesting medical profiles never accept receive’em by email and they never send profiles by email, too. Only by fax. It is an excel tool,very easy to manage docs since you can scan or pick and send a photo. All in your smartphone. That’s is great ! Five stars, at least!

This apps is great. The OCR/scanner is very good! I am keeping FaxfromiPhone on my phone just for that. However, it’s not clear about the pricing. It says I have a 100 credits, but no pages. So I had to buy pages (5 for $4.99). That’s the only part about FaxfromiPhone that I don’t understand. If I had not been in a time crunch, I would not have bought. I would have planned to go to the UPS store. Everything else is great.

Excellent service and very user friendly! An absolute must if you’re working from home and you’re running any kind of business or simply have to fax documents frequently! I’m very glad I can fax anything anytime with just a quick click on my phone! Definitely recommend FaxfromiPhone!

Simple, quick, and easy.! Just take a picture of the document you want to fax and BOOM.! That’s it. You can add a cover letter and it faxes almost immediately.! You will have your OWN personal fax #. They also notify you if/when your fax is delivered. They offer a 3 day free trial and the paid version would be worth it if you need to frequently fax something.

We had very important documents to fax that were on a date deadline. Our devices have all been hacked and compromised, and most places were closed to send out faxes. Fortunately, we were able to utilize this fax app on this iPhone device, in a matter of seconds of downloading it. Great app!!

Faxing is a breeze and there’s even a trial to test it out before anything. I feel like this fax app is definitely worth the price offered, plus it’s better to be spending the monthly fee rather then the price by page. I believe it could go a long way to save you money. I tried other apps but so far this one hasn’t failed me. :-)

This fax app is excellent. It starts at $4.99 for 5 pages or $10 for 25 pages and it even knew who I was faxing to for confirmation. (Reverse phone number look up) Saves as pdf for your records. Didn’t have to drive anywhere and pay over $2 a page everywhere else. Highly recommended

I needed to send a fax today. Maybe my first in 10 years. With so many iPhone fax apps it was a bit daunting finding the right one. I found FAX to be one of the easiest to use and the price of 25 fax pages for $10 to be what I needed. Not sure when I’ll need to send another fax but you can bet I’ll be using FAX to do it!

I was about to title this review “Pending” because I was waiting on the confirmation that the fax was sent successfully. Just as I finished writing “Pending” in the title, the confirmation came through. I then changed the title from “Pending” to “Awesome”. I live a long way away from a fax machine so this saved me a lot of time while I was in a pinch.

Had to send some documents fast and walking around trying to find a place that would fax. Eventually found a place that was overcharging and really poor to help you. So I found FaxfromiPhone and it saved me really easy to use and efficient.

FaxfromiPhone is horrible. It did not even work. I ended up having to take myself and my document to the UPS Store to use the good old fashioned fax. There is no place in FaxfromiPhone to cancel it and then you will get charged $107 for a year long USELESS subscription if you don’t figure out how to cancel it in time or forget to cancel it. And you will NOT get a refund. FaxfromiPhone creators and Apple will enjoy your money while you take an overtime shift to make up for your mistake of trying to use this “free” app. CROOKS!!!

I have no idea where all the “easy to use” reviews are coming from. Because there appears to be a hundred tabs for purchasing credits and subscriptions, but none for checking fax status, reviewing sent faxes, etc. Scanner is just sad. Notifications are on, but I have no idea if my faxes were sent, because I didn’t receive any notifications. I signed up for a monthly subscription which I am cancelling immediately. I can’t imagine an app less user friendly.

I thought I’d give it a try. The 3 day free trial was great bc I don’t often need to fax anything. (BEWARE!! Oftentimes you will be charged the monthly or yearly fee after the trial period is up) I scanned all documents that I needed faxed, and there was a notification telling me know there was in error with my server or internet connection. I disconnected from my WIFI and connected to my cellular data... nothing... disconnected from my cellular data and connected to the WIFi instead.... Still nothing! Complete waste of time!!

Needed to send 2 important faxes and didn’t feel like leaving the house. Using the free trial I was able to do that but I feel the annual price is too high especially since you also have to pay per fax. I don’t see myself having to fax that often so it would be better if you only payed for what you needed to fax.

No one to talk to! I purchased 500 pages and I haven’t send 500 pages. It shut me off saying I have exceeded the limit. Can’t dispute with anyone other than email which they will respond to in 48 hours. I need to fax something urgently so I purchased another 500 pages with the hope that it will get the job done but it tells me to delete the subscription and then get another number. It won’t allow me to cancel the subscription 🙄🙄

Needed a quick solution to send 1 fax... these app came in clutch. Should really set up something to pay as you go... so you aren’t limiting your users.

One never knows when they may need to send a personal fax. In any event, appreciate the ability, even though it costs $5.
