I purchased Loopsie because it was so customizable compared to its competitors. I used this for my business as well as for personal photos. I highly recommended it to other business owners and loved ones. I loved it and it was my go-to. Now I don’t even want to open it because I can’t do what I intended to do with it when I purchased it. Please change it back! Loving the new filters but I can’t use it because I can’t adjust anything aside from the pre filters. Not the motion, because some do get me dizzy. Not the filters on the picture because it’s preset, or how much certain images on the filters covers the pictures. Really disappointed I paid for a whole year. I don’t think I will renew the subscription once it expires.

this app was such a simple and powerful tool for creating living photos and even had some cool light trial effects. It was easy to use and output a professional result. I loved it… Now months later it seems like they keep adding more and more and more. I actually can’t even find the living photo feature anymore, which was the main reason I used Loopsie. It’s filled with stock photos and stock effects. Endless variations of the same gimmicky filter. Seems like feature-creep killed this once-great and reliable photo tool.

Loopsie is so cool, and I love it! But it would be better if saving the videos would be FREE it would get Loopsie more downloads by alot so I recommend making saving videos free. Love Loopsie🥰😍, just make the saving free . Cool app and edits, the background stuff and the moving screens are AMAZING but I’d definitely love Loopsie more if it were to be free. If your reading this please make it free and thanks so much if you do that. 💗

Misleading app. Says you can unlock all features if you pay for them? Umm, okay. Why would you pay for this limited capability app and not expect features to be available?

Pixeloop has more effects for less.

Facebook does the same gimmick for “free,” for anyone using Facebook anymore. And there are far more powerful video apps for 260 a year.

I like the 3d filter a lot. But since I don't use it often, it could be better if they provide other charging plans, like charging by effects.

The subscription does not worth it to me.

I loved Loopsie which is why I purchased a subscription to try and support this developer! Even after updating Loopsie will open and look shiny and pretty but every time I go to try and load a photo to edit... Loopsie crashes and closes? Wish I could get some help or a refund... either would be nice.

I’ve been a fan of this app for a long time. They are dropping new features so get on board now before the price goes up!

I canceled my “subscription” immediately, and then I was charged TWICE for one. I went to my Apple ID, under subscriptions, and then hit cancel. When I was notified I was charged twice, I went back in and there isn’t an option to cancel, just to buy. I’ve requested a refund through Apple but what a total scam of an app by not letting you cancel.

Seems to be a bug or an error bc I signed up for a free trial and then subscribed to the yearly and every time I try and save a photo it just ask me to sign up again and when trying just shoots me an error message can’t save or unlock anything even though I paid the 29$

If you sign up for the 3 day trial the next time it’ll ask if you cancelled it and offer a longer one month trial period. Signing up for the “month” trial period just signs you back up for the 3 day trial. If you fail to recognize this then you’ll be charged at the end of the first three days.

I was really excited to try Loopsie, downloaded it and attempted to load a picture.. app crashed. Tried multiple times, multiple crashes. This was the initial photo loading so I never got to try anything. Looks like a cool app for those that have much better luck.

It said 3D photo editor but you can’t even use the effects unless you pay for them. You can only use like 1 or 2 effects of each option. Basically just forcing you to pay. Might as well just make people pay for Loopsie .

Absolutely do not get or buy Loopsie! They’ve been charging my card for weeks after unsubscribing and getting three refunds from apple they’re still trying to steal my money! I’ve also deleted it after unsubscribing and they still charged me!

Does not let me transform my pictures into the animated ones.
App also likes to crash and close itself when I try more than once.
Got it for no reason basically just garbage.

App was cool and I paid $40 for the year subscription, but every time I try to use it Loopsie just crashes. Reopened it and tried a ton of times but it just crashes and now I can’t use it at all. I want the $40 back please.

I just wanna say I love Loopsie so much and I just downloaded it! But I just have 1 recommendation to be able to put videos too, but besides all that, I love it so much❤️

I took a picture of my crush and edited it in this app and he loved it! It is great!

Loopsie is amazing, so much better than all the other apps that claim to do the same. This is the original one.
Basically you just need to record a short video, then, from that you can create a magical effect, it looks like a living photo from Harry Potter.
You can actually give life to photos.

Loopsie has improved a lot since I last used it last year. Now it has all the necessary to create amazing art.
They should only add a frame selection tool, in order to select the still frame... hope they add it in a future version.
But, all in all it's a great app.. all my loopsies on instagram have left my followers speechless.

Of course you cannot expect to create a masterpiece right off the bat, it needs a little bit of practice, I'd say you need 2-3 days at least in order fully take advantage of Loopsie . There are some techniques that you can only understand after you have used it.

I highly recommed downloading Loopsie , you won't regret it.

When you try to import a video, all the videos are in random order. It’s impossible to find a specific video, and there’s no way to omit Live Photo’s. Opening Loopsie for the first time requires you to agree to a subscription, there’s absolutely no free trial. When you try to cancel your subscription, it’s extremely difficult as Loopsie itself is so bare and unhelpful, the website offers no explanation, and you have to find your original confirmation email (from Apple!) to cancel the subscription. Loopsie is a mess and clearly structured to make the most money from teenagers who unknowingly agree to a subscription and then have no way of canceling. It’s deceptive and cruel considering the build quality of Loopsie ends up being so poor.

I’m a photographer and I purchased the pro-version of Loopsie in hopes that I could import my photos from my camera roll—only to find out that you can only use this app with Live Photo’s and videos taken with your phone. No where in Loopsie description does it state you can ONLY use Loopsie with photos and videos you take on your phone. After finding out I couldn’t import my photos, I immediately went to “report a problem” and asked for a refund...which I was denied. I can’t believe I was denied a refund literally minutes after I bought Loopsie . I haven’t even used Loopsie (and I don’t plan to). Companies like this definitely do NOT value their customers. They just want what’s in your wallet. Awful

I wish the light trail would have the effect effect being rolled in and than out along the dominant motion trail, so that the whole effect is traveling along the moving cars path. The sam might be done for the long exposure. Currently the effect builds up and then abruptly starts over / from scratch, not a seamless looping. Maybe in new edition or through update? Otherwise the most eye catching app. I also like the fact it has one time purchase price too (as alternative to subscriptions).

Love Loopsie for cinemagraphs. However, I would love to have the option to create GIFs as an output.

Any plans of implementing this feature?

Update 23 Aug 2018: the screen adjustment has been fixed and it is a great and fun app again but I would pay to eliminate their logo.

It used to work fine but now the screen is only capturing a portion of what is displayed. I even turned on the grid and cycled through all of the screen sizes and each is only capturing a portion of what is displayed.

first once you go to camera mode there’s no way to go back to the start of Loopsie . There’s no tutorial inside Loopsie on how get the loop to be stable or any tutorial at all.

in order to get a loop like in their ad you have to have taken the video with a tripod and have the perfect shot. This is not for the everyday quick pic person like myself. since the loop with be all shaky because the tiny bit of angle change their app AI doesn’t stabilize at all

Loopsie advertises being able to cross live photos from Loopsie to Instagram. It’s a cool feature. However, the file does not compress properly and you also lose significant image quality of the photo when uploading to Instagram. The image cut approximately 25 percent of my photo once added to Instagram and was very blurry. Loopsie needs significant work if they expect people to use it to post legitimate live photos on Instagram.

I tried a free trial and then I was sure I cancelled subscription, but it turned out I bought this somehow accidentally(never happened with me before) for 12 months, even I believe I cancelled it, couldn’t make a refund, unfortunately. Very limited choice of pictures and videos to edit from my phone library. I can’t access it normally🤦🏻‍♀️I will write to Apple support and will try to make a refund. Useless app

Downloaded, tried to do a 3D photo.. only showed one photo from my camera roll available to import..??? Loaded the only photo it would allow me to, and then nothing. Had options at the bottom to adjust animation direction and edge selection intensity and what not but wouldn’t allow me to make the photo “move”. Pretty crappy app design. 👎 certainly won’t be paying a subscription to such a thing.

Loopsie is the least user-friendly thing I have ever seen. Not only can you not upload images/videos that you’ve already taken, but there are also no instructions on how to do anything. There’s no option in Loopsie to cancel my subscription, and it didn’t even give me the option to choose which subscription I wanted in the first place.

I saw the demo on Instagram and downloaded Loopsie. First of all, apps with in-app purchases must clearly let their user know what’s free before they let you download. After download I realized that only 1 option was available without going “Pro” and even that option wouldn’t let you import existing images.
Loopsie is a total waste of time. There’s many others that offer similar effects for free!

The learning curve on Loopsie to create living photos is pretty significant and the free trail is only 3 days. I was still trying to find a picture that would work to decide if I liked Loopsie . Now I have paid $20 for quite a bit of wasted time. I’ve cancelled and now I have 12 months to see if I can figure it out 😂 but if I had the choice, I would have not purchased Loopsie.
