So many blocking apps out there. I tried them all but this one definitely works best. this app can effectively control your incoming calls and you don't have to spend time with meaningless conversation on your phone anymore.
I know it is not easy to pick up calls from you wife, your boss, your mother in law and ect. But what about some stranger who just earns money by harassing you and bothering you with sales or surveys. Nobody needs that. Noone have time for that.
I just hate those annoying calls. I was getting all kinds of calls all day long, and even in the middle of the night, 10 to 30 spam and telemarketing calls a day. I had to mute my phone and I was afraid to
pick up unknown numbers. this app has really help control those annoying calls.

Numbo is really easy to use, this app has that simple solutions and it doesn’t bother me at all, either. On the other hand spam calls, telemarketers, financial services and surveys have to hate Numbo. It is well worth and it definitely works. No more spam calls with this app. Really love Numbo!! :-)

Well I promised I would come back and write a new review after this was all worked out and it has been. It had some kinks for a while, but customer service was pretty awesome about letting me know that they were updating and what was going on and what to expect. I very rarely ever get a spam call. And I feel like the money is very much worth it. For those of you who have a problem paying for a service because you think you should get it for “ free” try to remember these developers work really hard to create Internet safety for us and nobody goes to work and does a good job when they’re not getting paid. :) and the last couple months I’ve been thrilled with what I’m paying for.

I had recently been getting a lot of spam calls that I couldn’t tell were spam calls until I answered. Given the fact that I make and receive a lot of phone calls for work, these spam calls really got in the way of getting things done. I began looking for call blocking alternatives and found this app. The interface is very easy to use and the caller identification is perfect! The free trial let me gauge whether or not I wanted to pay for the subscription, and the subscription is definitely worth it! You should definitely get Numbo if you are getting too many spam calls and want to know whether or not to answer.

I have had Numbo for 2 weeks and it has been worse than useless. None of the robocalls I received were caught by Numbo . When I tried to find out who the caller was, none were on their suspect list. During that time, it only sent one call to voicemail that I’m aware of, and that was a legitimate call from someone on my contact list. I don’t understand why it blocked that call. It also labeled one call I received as “Spam”, but, luckily, it allowed the call to go through anyway. It was a legitimate call from a doctor at a hospital who was calling to tell me that my sister’s surgery had gone well. it’s a good thing that I picked it up despite the spam label. I only picked it up because I was expecting a call from the hospital. Although not on my contact list, I can’t imagine how a doctor’s phone number ended up being labeled as spam. I have cancelled my subscription.

I’ve had this app for my home phone for years so I figured I’d give it a try for my cell. My cell robocalls went from 3-4 per day to 3-6 per week. I had it for about a month and loved it but then it started blocking a valid number that I need to receive for my job. So I deleted Numbo . The calls quickly went right back up. After a few more weeks I couldn’t take it any more so I gave Numbo another try. Glad I did. Now I realized that if a valid number is blocked, all you need to do is use the lookup feature and allow the number. That unblocks it. I highly recommend Numbo if you get a lot of robocalls.

I have Numbo for over two years or so now, initially it was very reliable but it went getting on the mode to not block any more spams calls or text, I even pay the premium yearly rate and again just for a few weeks then everything went back to normal again, now I can’t even login into my own account I deleted Numbo and downloaded again and still nada, nothing, zero logging for me tried to recover my password and now even that it’s helping every time I tried it say I fail and or the logging isn’t the eight one, very displeased and thinking very seriously to cancel my membership unless Numbo creator change my mind solving my problems with the login and the spams calls/text

App does an absolutely excellent job of blocking, updating databases and had a great interface that is user friendly. Their technical support is right on the ball. After updating to the premium account I noticed a few minor issues updating the database and reporting. I emailed them and they immediately replied and got things back on track. I want to personally express my gratitude to Katerina for getting the ball rolling making the adjustments. I would definitely recommend this application and their team. Thank you all!

Great for weeding out callers you don’t know . Thanks to the developer. Must have spam protection got this app today, cos I got tried of receiving all of these calls. I researched a bit and decided on Numbo. It has a great price, a nice uni, and a universal block list, meaning everyone can contribute to it. It’s a must have, and it blocks those calls perfectly so I don’t have to deal with them. The functionality is great, the design is user-friendly, and it lets the whole community contribute to it. Great app overall. You should try it too.

It’s been installed for a few days, still receiving crap calls. Was supposed to download database but download takes forever and then stops at 99%. Waiting for customer service to do something.

Update: contacted customer service again, again no response. Be very careful with these people. They are scammers if you need help they are not available. Be sure to cancel before your trial ends.

Update-calls still coming in after several weeks-Numbo only catches a few calls, most spam calls come through- apparently you need to manually update it daily as it keeps reading not updated. Then it takes some time to update. Still no contact from their support - most likely because there is no support. Horrible horrible app.

It works! It actually works! When a spam call calls you, it tells you right from the iPhone screen if it’s spam, telemarketing or whatever, and it’s up to you what you do with it. You can block all numbers, or you can view who’s calling, and you can even choose individually for numbers in your own blacklist. I can say that for the last couple of days since downloading, I’ve actually had ZERO spam calls (it’s around five a day under normal circumstances).

Easily identifies landline calls and gives me a location of the caller. Numbo definitely helps to block unwanted nuisance calls. I just hate when a number calls me repeatedly and when I pick up, they don’t even have the decency to tell me their name. But the caller ID function in this app always tells me who the other person is. I’m guessing their number database is pretty large :)

Update: Developer contacted me and explained issue. Had to uninstall and reinstall app then change some settings on my phone. Working great now! Wish it hadn’t taken a work around to get to to install and work in the first place, from what I understand is is an iOS issue though, not a problem directly Numbo .

Well got this today and so far this is not working for crap not blocking unknown calls letting scammers and teller marketing slide on through talk about some bs they have one more day to get this right if not taking premium money back and canceling this crap. Well it’s been a month or so and it still don’t block any of the unknown or telemarketing much less spam/robotic calls I have to continue putting these in blacklist category to even stop them and if there is no # to put with this what good is it going to anybody so I do not recommend Numbo it’s just a scam it’s now October still useless still getting a it of crappy calls and this has done nothing

There are a lot of spammers out there, and there's no easy way to tell if it's a spammer or not until you pick it up! If you don't want to risk that, try this call protect app instead! It is connected with the world database of spam numbers, providing you with peace of mind of who exactly is calling you! If it's not in the database, you still have to pay a fee! You'll thank me later!

The call protect application has greatly enhanced the use of my cellular phone. I deeply appreciate the frequent updates. I am giving the application my stars. The problem w Numbo is it apparently is not merged w other users around the US. I get telemarketing and scan calls daily. When I look them up on Numbo it says not reported yet. I can’t be the only one this is happening to. Therefore, the calls still come through unlike another app I used to use which had a huge database of scanner callers and telemarketing. They need to change the telemarketing laws. Correctly, telemarketing cos can piggy back of of anyones phone number using a king. This prevents us from seeing who is really calling.

I used to get so many fraud calls trying to get personal info out of me, it has gotten to the point I was considering changing my phone number and provider but luckily, I didn’t have to. Call Blocker blocks these calls automatically because the numbers are already in their database marked as spam or telemarketing or whatever. No more spam calls!!

Creating software to eliminate unwanted calls that may be scams, telemarketers, suspicious or just plain annoying is great. Saving these numbers to a community collection point is also an outstanding feature of such Software. That's why I am paying for it. However, each time I try going to my Blacklist, the this app crashes and I have to restart. What a Pain! And that's not all. It doesn't save any numbers to my own Blacklist. And some numbers unknown to me are getting through. I would give this app five stars if these deficits could be fixed.

I’m very pleased so far with this app app. The developer is very responsive to suggestions for extra features. Blacklist works very fine and most of the scam calls are the past for me. I should tell you, that 95% of spam calls are blocked by Numbo, so I am satisfied a lot. It is a very good service for the price. I highly recommend this call blocker.

The reverse phone is a great quick way to look up stray calls from home or your mobile. Spam calls are quickly identified, Robo calls are also recognised , and real people can be identified (caller ID). It would be nice if mobile numbers were available without a fee, but I recommend to subscribe to this quality app.
