Good app, weird notifications

Great way to ensure you’ll wake up when your alarm goes off. Also a great way to ensure that you’ll have trouble falling asleep at night. The idea of incorporating mental tasks into shutting off your alarm is a great one, and this app applies that concept well. The games and puzzles it makes you play are challenging enough to wake you up, but not too challenging that they become frustrating. I’ve been able to wake up and stay awake since downloading the app, and that’s something I usually struggle a lot with. My only issue (and it’s a big one) is the so called, “sweetest bedtime notification ever,” which in reality is nightly messages that look like they’re being sent to you by a lover rather than an application. Every night you get a message along the lines of, “good night baby, I love you and I miss you so much!” I wish I was exaggerating, but if anything I’m understating the weird and creepy vibe these messages give off. If you’re married or in a serious relationship, good luck explaining these to your significant other. I’d honestly give the app 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that my phone has been whispering sweet nothings to me every night before bed. Seriously, if the developers read this review, please learn the difference between, “sweet,” and, “stalkerish.” I’m going to try to get a good night’s sleep now despite my new fear that I’ll wake up in the middle of the night with my phone standing over me holding a knife and telling me how it can’t live without me.

Creepy Notifications

Creepy notifications say hey baby and sweety and stuff. V weird, unexpected, and off putting for the purpose of the app. Also ads overlay buttons of the UI that make setting alarm up confusing. Deleted the app...
