Definitely partly a scam. I’ve done my homework on this one. I’ve had Datefit for over two years, and I’ve matched with *one* person. It was a real person, so Datefit isn’t a full-on scam, but it’s close. There are 100% fake profiles that entice you with messages and likes, in order to get you to pay for premium. Once you message them back, there’s no response, even if they went out of their way to like multiple pictures of yours. I have now seen multiple profiles change their actual name to change identities. It would appear the overwhelming majority of profiles aren’t real because there’s simply nobody ever liking anybody. I was bribed with premium to leave a five star review, so just know that this 3ish star app would probably be 1-2 without those. The concept of Datefit is fantastic, but there just must not be enough legitimate people wanting to use it. Most profiles that message you are fake and just enticing you to buy premium. Stay far away.

Datefit is all about making money, fake profiles try to make contact with you and in order to reply, you have to pay, I didn’t even pay at all but I’ve read other reviews, so if Datefit wants to actually make money, stop making fake users and stop charging people to even send a message back. I’d suggest remove all fake users and allow actual users to contact each other and allow every user to contact each other temporarily for a certain amount of time, once that certain amount of time ends, that’s where the money comes in, begin to ask the users if they want to continue contacting each other, pay a monthly or weekly subscription

I’ve used several dating apps in the past but found this one to be one of the absolute worst. I selected the age range of 35-48 and distance of no more than 50 miles away, but it consistently showed me guys in their late teens & 20s! The only men that “liked” me were hundreds of miles away (and in a few cases, over 1000 miles away)! Also when I saw that someone cute (in another state) had liked me, there was no way to like him back—only option available was to flag his profile as a bad actor, which was strange. There’s no Help section, no access to customer support. Overall a complete waste of time and money!

Alright. I’m a guy. I’m not sure how this works for girls. But. You can do anything on Datefit other than like a picture. There’s little to anyone locally.
This is a scam because it requires you pay to do anything. It’s also a scam because it has fake accounts. Another reason it’s a scam is because I made a post. And mentioned “ amongst all these fake profiles I’m actually real” and I left my Ig name. After they took down my account. So this just goes to show they are trying to scam probably mostly men. Cuz woman aren’t dumb enough to pay for any of these service. Literally it’s men that are that desperate to spend money. This company is a complete SCAM. Don’t download this.

It’s funny how when your subscription ends, someone always sends you a message that you need to resubscribe in order to see. Overwhelmingly bots and fake accounts. The bots don’t even text back, they send you a super suggestive message, and then that’s it. Don’t waste your money, although it is on the less expensive side. There are a few real accounts though, so do with that what you will.

When someone “likes” your post, it doesn’t tell you which one they liked, which is unhelpful. This is also kind of a niche thing, so I wouldn’t expect much user base, especially if you’re in a small town.

But honestly, I’d just avoid this one altogether. Was a cool idea, cruddy execution.

I tried Datefit out for a month. A couple weeks after I canceled I logged in and saw a message from a girl. You can’t reply or view the profile unless you pay. I took a screenshot of the profile pic zoomed in and did a reverse google image search. I found a TikTok account from a chick with a different name. So they must be using this girls likeness to create a fake profile and lure users back onto Datefit . If so, a totally dishonest business practice to be doing that and maybe even fraud. Shame on them if so. I suggest going to your local gym to meet people instead of this fake app.

Update: continuing to get text messages from fake accounts. I reply STOP to all of them but they keep coming. This is a violation of the TCPA. Stop texting me!

Ive seen apps created by 3rd graders that function better than this. Sometimes a text will be sent notifying that a message in Datefit is waiting for a reply and then other times, more often than not there are no notifications about new messages. Even after refreshing the message center there are no messages when a text notification was sent saying there is a new message. Check back the next day and there is a message that is unread with a ”3 days ago” next to the message. Where was it for the last two days? This is only the beginning of the sham of an app. There is probably one person on here running most of the accounts to keep people enticed by sending bread crumb messages.
Save your time and money.

So I got excited when hearing about a dating site for gym people like really excited but I don’t get what’s the point of seeing who liked your profile if you can’t message them without paying like huh?!? At least let the user message for a little bit so then they can get their socials or something but I’ve found that dating sites are more about making money than creating long lasting or just relationships. This is unfortunate bc what’s the point bc the money you use would be used for a date for your potential partner. But other than it seems interesting there are fake profiles when scrolling you can tell by the bad quality but please fix this but I don’t think you will for your interest is more about making money like you can have your customer have a good time first messaging and then paying later but like to have to pay to message is so annoying and just greedy.

The biggest problem by far with Datefit is the lack of community. When your closest matches are 150 miles away AND you’re in a big city there is a problem. The buttons on the UI also don’t always respond. It can be quite disappointing when you have to click several times or in odd ways just to get the press to register. Datefit has some room for improvement.

I like that Datefit has the concept of building connections with people who share the fitness lifestyle or motivation to better their bodies. As a longtime fitness lover, I enjoy exploring different fitness exercises. I’ve been in search of a workout buddy, Datefit makes finding a workout buddy much more accessible which sounds fun & motivating! I believe the upgrade is needed to be needed to be able to interact with users though. I love being able to read peoples fitness goals too. It’s just a whole other world with Datefit. Datefit is useful in pursuing our fitness goals and dream bodies.

What a great idea!! Datefit will allow you to find and date someone who enjoys being and staying fit. This way, you can find someone who enjoys some of the same fitness activities you do. Work on goals together. It’s not just to find a date, but you can also find friends to work out with. If you ever wanted to work out , go for a bike ride or other fitness activity but didn’t want to do it alive- Datefit is for you!!! Find someone to help you achieve your fitness goals. I think Datefit is great for people who are athletes and are into fitness. It is refreshing to know that an app like this exists and it can benefit anyone, even if you are not into fitness and are looking to get into it Datefit is a great way to meet friends that can help you on a new journey. Another thing I like about it is that you can not only find a future relationship but you can find make new friendships. I think more people should try Datefit personally and the premium edition is not a bad price at all compared to other apps.

As an athlete I love this app! It's refreshing to find a community that values fitness as much as I do. Datefit 's customization features are top-notch, allowing me to narrow down my search for that perfect gym partner or a date who prioritizes health just like me. this app is an app where you can connect with other people of the same interest, such as fitness. For me personally, I struggle with finding other friendships or relationships who enjoy staying fit and having a healthy lifestyle. It has been easier to people that I naturally connect with through Datefit for many reasons. I also realized that Datefit isn’t only knowing as “match matching” for people searching for spouses, but also just a safe place / community to find life long fitness & friends! I highlight recommend this app to anyone who is interested in this aspect of living and life in general.

I had honestly been waiting for a “niched” fitness dating app to come out for a while now. So many times on regular dating apps people will list “fitness” in their bio but there’s so much gray area within that - so a lot of those people don’t really live the committed healthy lifestyle I live but want to seem that they do to look more appealing. I definitely am finding that it’s the actual gym gurus on Date Fit. I also go to a pretty private gym so I don’t really see new faces in there very often, thus making it a little hard to meet other fit single men organically with my day-to-day environment. Excited to keep using Datefit!

I have never seen quite the experience of a dating app as this one if you the ability to see all of your options near and far and makes it easy to get around and find a friend or even if you were looking to date, this is Datefit you want for someone to be able to push you to your limits and see who the real people and their characters are like!!

this app is a awesome app to get to know new people with similar fitness lifestyles as you. If your looking for a friend, community, or partner that’s loves to be active like you, Datefit is for you. Easy to set up and use once you have a account and profile. Also is easy to move through Datefit and communicate with other people you meet through this app. All in all great experience and app to start finding connections.
