This kind of app was very much needed! I really like how easy it is to use. The scanner is a life savor to find out what items are WIC approved and avoid those awkward moments at the register asking them to void an item. Also being able to keep up with your benefits list and the usage of them comes very handle as well, I don’t know how many times I misplaced the receipt with my ending benefits list or have to get in line at a register to check them. I do wish the benefit deduction wouldn’t take so long to update. But other than that awesome job guys!

myTEXASWIC is great! It shows you how much you have left, what you are approved to buy, and it even has a shopping guide in case you’re unsure about products! And the best part is that there’s a barcode scanner to double check approved items which makes the process so much easier when checking out so you can make sure you didn’t pick up something that isn’t approved. Thank you for the updates!

At first myTEXASWIC helped out a lot while shopping. But for someone reason my card itself stopped working so wic changed my card . Now I’m trying to update my card and either it’s the barcode that won’t scan my card number ( which isn’t so much of a big deal cause I can always type it in) or it won’t let me change the date where you enter your birthday. It auto fills to today’s date. Like how am I suppose to enter my birthday and finish filling out the registration portion to add new card and use your app when it won’t function correctly. I didn’t have this issue with my first card.

At first it worked fine updating what i had available. Now it dont and has yet to update future availability.

I was debating whether to download myTEXASWIC because of the ratings it had. So far I like it shows me what I have in my card haven’t use the barcode scanner at the store. But I like that it shows you the things you can get. 😁Very happy so far

myTEXASWIC always comes in handy instead of always looking back at the receipt and reminding me how many days I have until the next month. I also like how it shows what I can buy so I won’t be confused!

myTEXASWIC is so helpful while shopping for WIC in stores! I hated lugging around the WIC shopping guide to look up approved items during my shopping trips and now I no longer need to with myTEXASWIC. Thank you so much for bringing this to reality and allowing everyone the use of it!

myTEXASWIC is terrible! I went to the store for the first time today to use my benefits. First off, myTEXASWIC takes forever to load. Secondly, everything I was scanning was saying “not wic approved” although it had the wic sticker. I got the items anyway and at the register, they were approved. That seriously needs to be fixed because in turn, everything that scanned as wic approved, didn’t approve at the register. Quite frustrating.

I thought since most of these reviews were dated back for MONTHS, that myTEXASWIC would have been updated to properly work. However. I have the same issue as countless of reviews before me, it won’t allow me to log in. The text said “if your account is new, wait 1-2 days before trying to log in”, I’ve waited five days and it still won’t allow me to log in.

If no one can get into myTEXASWIC , why is it being recommended so strongly?

Is there a way to use myTEXASWIC for multiple children in my home . I have 5 children under 3 . Also myTEXASWIC is not working for me now 😞

It’s great when it works completely, but ever since Covid began and they updated the foods I haven’t been able to see any of my benefits, which means I also can’t even use the shopping guide rendering it useless to me. myTEXASWIC has been useless for almost a complete year already and no one has patched it or updated? What a waste

The application is not updating my benefits..!! I went to the store and I checked my app to see what benefits I had and it showed I had everything so I grabbed a few items, when I was paying I got denied for the items I took and the cashier said no benefits so I checked again and same it shows I still have all my benefits and I totally forgot I had gotten out several items.!

myTEXASWIC works fine for my. The update to my WIC is correct and doesn’t lag any items that has been redeemed.

Love myTEXASWIC but when I switched to iPhone, I can’t see my benefits. A message saying it may be 2-5 days behind is covering that whole page and I can’t get it to go away.

myTEXASWIC use to be very helpful but now that I have updated card (the one with the Ferris wheel) myTEXASWIC does bog recognize it. It says the card number is invalid and so is my birthday apparently. Really wish they would fix myTEXASWIC already because it’d be very good to have!

The lb, each, pkg, oz etc… option be won’t switch past lb. I can’t accurately calculate because of this issue. Can anyone help me please?

When I first started using myTEXASWIC I loved it. But now when I get on it has no info on what benefits I still have. I still have to go to the checkout to see what I have available it’s been already 5 months since this started.. very frustrating

The stores and items listed as WIC approved are actually incorrect. I’ve gone to two different stores already, selected items specifically listed in myTEXASWIC , verified I got correct brand and weight and only to show up at the register and be told WIC cards are not approved as method of payment.

The most recent issue i am having is that i cant log in to myTEXASWIC anymore because it is asking for my birthday but the only option i can put in is may 2, 2002 which is not my birthday. This is frustrating!

Last month I had gotten some items but when I tried to get the same items this month the cashier changed me when myTEXASWIC said I can get the items. And won’t update like it used to, I rather get the receipt then use myTEXASWIC .

This is totally a better alternative than to carry around paper for what is covered and whats not covered.

This needs attention. myTEXASWIC doesn’t allow to log on at no time. I’m still finding myself having to stand in line to get my balance on my card. Very frustrating. I had hope for myTEXASWIC!!

App has been downloaded but doesn’t work. Won’t allow me to register.

Once it finally allowed me to register, myTEXASWIC says it could take 5-7 days to update but it hasn’t updated almost 3 weeks later.

Installed this and it keeps saying my account doesn’t exist so I immediately uninstalled it. So I can’t even login. Good idea but it doesn’t work at all.

myTEXASWIC is super helpful. It shows you the benefits you have left for the month which you can then add to your shopping list. From your shopping list, you can look at the shopping guide which shows the WIC approved products. Alternatively, you can simply use the scanner feature (conveniently available from every tab of myTEXASWIC in the top right corner) to make sure the product you grabbed is approved. Big stress reliever. I see some other reviewers say they couldn’t sign in. Hopefully they are working on a fix for that, but I had no issues signing in, and once you do get it in it’s a great app!

I was finally able to get someone on the phone to set my app up. I don’t feel that myTEXASWIC is ready for mainstream launch if we have issues and have to call in to have it set up. That being said, having this set up and working now, I will say I do enjoy myTEXASWIC and find it easy to use. It takes a few days to update once you have made a purchase but that’s to be expected. Overall I gave myTEXASWIC 3 stars because of the initial set up issues. If there weren’t issues from the start, I would have given it 4 stars. A great tool!

I I’m sooo glad they finally got an app I would always lose my receipt and never go get the rest of my stuff out. Now I can keep track of everything especially when you go to the register and don’t know if it’s the right product scanning it before going to the register makes it so much easier. This is such a stress reliever sooo excited to use it.

I downloaded myTEXASWIC & I registered & used it once & it made my wic shopping soooo much easier buuuuuuut that’s the only time I got to use myTEXASWIC because now it won’t let me log in to my account. It keeps saying that it can’t connect to the server or something but my internet is fine. myTEXASWIC is great & I love the idea of it. Please fix this.
Wic is already stressful to shop for.

It would be great if it worked. Gives option to create new account but it says invalid WIC card. Called 1-800 number and the lady was extremely rude saying that I didn’t know what I was doing. Don’t promote an app if you can clearly see on your reviews that 2/38 people have gotten it to work - probably employees putting in their reviews. Do something to fix it and don’t give us the run around. Admit your app doesn’t work

So glad they finally made an app! I was always forgetting what items I had gotten and myTEXASWIC tells you what benefits you have left and so much more.

I lost my WIC items page, I was scared cus I don’t know what do I have available, I downloaded myTEXASWIC and I’m in love with it! Very helpful thank you so much!

I just found out about myTEXASWIC today and I’m trying to register as a new user but it keeps saying invalid card number or password. I don’t get it. I’ve typed in my number and scanned the card. And if I’m registering as a new user it shouldn’t say invalid password. myTEXASWIC needs some improvements!

i am having the same issue as everyone else, not being able to register or being told my WIC number is wrong. I called the number provided and was just told “try again tomorrow”.

I have been trying to use myTEXASWIC and for some reason it doesn’t even let me register. I called the 1800# and they said nothing was wrong!

Got to no place with me even calling that number, will be deleting myTEXASWIC .
