My app is not giving notifications at all. I have given all permissions but for some reason everytime guest messages or there is a booking, there is no notification alerting me to it. I am using it for android store Samsung phone. I still have to use airbnb to alert me of any notifications as the hostaway app is not doing that for me at all.

How to fix Hostaway app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Hostaway app on iPhone
Update Hostaway app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Hostaway iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Hostaway on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Hostaway network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Hostaway Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Hostaway not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Hostaway App
1. On android, goto Settings » Hostaway » click [Force Stop]

Update Hostaway to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Hostaway App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Hostaway » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Hostaway.

Fix Hostaway unable to contact server/ Hostaway internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Hostaway » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Hostaway » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Hostaway
