For anyone who has the muscle memory from using 10-key, this will infuriate you...and let’s not forget the slide-up ad that just always seems to know when you’re going for the ‘equals’ key, and pops right on up in front of it. I could go on and on about the ads, but that is the theme of these reviews, so not necessary. There are multiple other apps I would recommend before this one, but for educational purposes, Desmos is the most thorough and accredited...and exponentially better than this one.

This is almost as good as my TI-84.
However, I wish it had better support for copying and pasting into the calculator.
The buttons are also way smaller than I’d like.

I really like the layout and functionality of this calculator.

I would just like to see the buttons bigger as most of the screen is used for past calculations. I think maybe half screen for buttons and half for calculations would be much better! Thanks!

How can you change a decimal to a radical or exact value form?

Every other calculator app has ads, this one doesn’t! One suggestion though is make the keypad bigger. All that open space at the top is a waste of real estate.

I was very glad to find the Desmos Scientific calculator in DesmosScientificCalculator Store. It has a wide range of usage and is very helpful. However my biggest complaint would be the buttons are too small. They should have an option of turning the screen horizontal and have the buttons be bigger

This is a great app, a standard scientific calculator with almost all the functions you will need. One complaint I have is that there is no log_(n) function. It’s very annoying to have to write loga/logn every time I want a base that is not 10. Please add this! Other than that, a great app, I use it all the time.

I was looking for a calculator that would let me do some basic algebra, then take the arccos of the result and show the value in degrees. I thought it was a pretty simple ask but three other calculators failed me. Finally I found this one and my problem is solved. I’m docking one star because the UI got a little confused when I wanted to wrap a whole fraction In parentheses. It assumed I wanted to put them around the numerator or denominator. I fiddled around and eventually got it to work. In all it looks like a solid app.

I would like to be able to save the preferences for the dark theme and large font instead of changing the interface every time I use DesmosScientificCalculator . Still the best calculator for iPad just add that settings function please.

And surprisingly good
The buttons all function how they would with the regular Graphing Desmos app, though the functions listed here are accessible through the [func] button in Graphing Desmos

Though, if you just want to do some scientific stuff with the calculator, it doesn’t fail to deliver
Plus you get the nice equation bar without the display of the graph, allowing you to more comfortably punch in equations

A nice app for a nice purpose; When you’re in a pinch & don’t have a Texas Instrument, this’ll do the trick

It doesn’t save the preferences so I have to change them each time you open DesmosScientificCalculator , default button sizes are too small.

I couldn’t find a calculator app that let me do cube roots easily and conveniently, until I found this one! It’s nice and clear, plus it provides most (if not all) functions I need!

This is a great calculator. My only issue is the buttons are a bit small.

Love everything about this calculator, but it has an error or glitch. The input of -3 squared gives an answers of -9, which is incorrect.

I’ve been using Desmos on my school computer since 6th grade and I’ve never used anything else! I never knew there was an app or else I would have gotten it sooner! 10/10 and 5 stars, would recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s better than most calculator apps I’ve used that has many reviews and higher stars! You can solve ANY problem. I don’t see any problems with the keyboards you just have to get use to it I’ve only been using it for 1 day and I love it! I recommend it to everyone.

Sometimes my iphone calculator doesn’t work that well and ends up throwing off my answer entirely. Desmos makes things really simple and can prepare you for the future when you have to take state tests with it. Every high school student should have it.

I’ve looked at calculators on DesmosScientificCalculator Store that had all functions like- fractions, exponents, and algebra equations, but was not able to find one. So, I’ve found Desmos. Since I’m going into the 8th grade, I need a calculator that had all functions. The Apple stock calculator is very good, but it doesn’t have fractions and exponents. Thank you for DesmosScientificCalculator!

I love this calculator and use it all the time. I was wondering if you could add a feature that gives us the ability to save things to memory though. Whenever I close DesmosScientificCalculator everything is lost.

I had this for about 2 sec and I was like NOPE not in my house and that’s the sec after the first 2 sec so ya and this is like 2 hrs after I got DesmosScientificCalculator because I was still mad about it and even had to take a sick day to get over it, I had to waste my 2sec on BUYING a free app. UUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH, but now I feel a bit happier

Although it works perfectly with 7/8 grade math the numbers are far too small and is very hard to type

After cataract surgery everything’s changed. Good contrast is vital for everything with a display. I am unable to judge DesmosScientificCalculator fairly as I couldn’t use it due to washed out keyboard contrast.

DesmosScientificCalculator really needs to have options for displaying the answers in different formats, such as scientific notation, decimal vs fraction notation, etc.

I would also love to see an “E” key, a common calculator shortcut for “*10^”, great for scientific calculations.

... the keyboard really needs to be larger. Especially because the newer phones like the Xs and Xs Max have a lot of space and the keyboard on DesmosScientificCalculator is optimized for something like the iPhone 5s. Please fix it, I got a plus sized phone for a reason.
