This is the best grade tracking app I’ve come across so far. I’ve been using it for 3 semesters now and it helps me keep track of how I’m doing grade wise. The grouped grade option is exactly what was missing from other apps that is so crucial to getting the exact grade. I would give Grades 5 stars but there is one thing missing. Grades has proven to be accurate in tracking individual course this app, but in terms of the GPA tracking option, it does not allow you to change the weight of each course, at least that I know of. Say one course I am taking is 4 credits and another is 3, the four credit course weighs heavier on my GPA, but Grades only averages your grade rather than taking this into consideration. If this feature could be added I would definitely give it a 5 star rating. Either way, highly recommend Grades!

I got Grades last semester and was happy to put down a few bucks to pay for premium (thanks for the student conscious price btw!). Only hiccup I have with this is using the +/- this app. Not EVERy class uses the +/-, in a semester I may have 2 that do and 4 that do not. On Grades though, if you choose the +/- option, it applies it to ALL your classes in ALL your semesters. The result is a drastically different GPA that, if you’re anything like me, can give a person serious anxiety. If the developers could come up with a way to apply +/- to each class at the users discretion, Grades would for sure be a 5/5. That said even without it, its still worth downloading.

Tl/dr; its great, life changing even. I’m just bugging the developers to alter something

I just got Grades because I needed to track my school this app and stuff and Grades helps you keep track of it! You label your classes and then put it name of grade and the weight and put it what you got for that grade. Once you do that for all assignments it tells you your final grade. You get to set goals for your grade and it tells you what percent you need to be getting to get to that goal! You get to set 4 classes up but with premium you get more and a lot more access to Grades . It’s 8$ for the premium and it’s not a subscription but it’s totally worth it! 10/10 recommend.

The price is worth it.

I’m able to add all my classes’ grading criteria and keep up with my this app. Grades was helpful versus others because it keeps up with weighted this app and pointed. A final could be worth 30%, homework 10%... etc. I just input the percentage of each and it calculates what I need to make on other assignments to get the grade I insert as my goal. In other classes this app are based on points... final exam is 200 points, homework 100 points... this can be confusing to keep up with but Grades takes care of it. I also like that it keeps up with my GPA. Overall I’m very happy with Grades.

Grades works well and looks nice, but it is missing some features that I need in a grade app. First there is no way to add assignments and their this app under a category. For instance if my homework grade is worth 15% of the course grade, I have to manually average the scores I get on each individual homework assignment and enter that average into Grades . A feature that would allow you to add individual assignments underneath a category like Homework and have Grades average them for you would be ideal. Second, it doesn’t calculate your GPA at all, which is honestly one of the most informative aspects using grade apps for me. It definitely feature that can calculate your GPA based on credit hours, various grading scales, and based on past semesters is very necessary. These two things are what is really keeping me from using Grades.

I absolutely love Grades, idk what I would do without it! The new grouped assignments is so perfect in that now I don’t have to go in and recalculate every time! One recommendation though is to be able to name the items within the grouped list. I like to see exactly what each grade was for. If I end up deleting a grade and then adding one for something different, the item numbers keep going up and I get confused on how many assignments I actually have logged. So if I could just rename them so that they don’t all say “item” that would be great. Aside from that though, Grades is amazing!

Professors are buttholes when it comes to just telling you what your grade is. ‘I’ll calculate it at the end of the year!’ They say ‘I grade on a curve so it doesn’t matter!’ They cry. But they’re liars! And I want to know my grade now!

You just plug in the weight of the assignments as it says on your syllabus, put the grade you got on it and boom! Your this app are right there! Clear as day! On top of that, it also will tell you what this app you need on future assignments to get the grade you’re aiming for. And that’s just the free version!

I will be buying the premium version as you can add several terms, have different color schemes, and organize assignments into a more user friendly format. Plus it’s only $8.99 one time. That’s right, no subscription, no monthly fee. You get billed ONCE and you have the premium version for your entire college duration. Which is a great investment if you ask me.

I absolutely love Grades! Makes tracking and calculating the this app you need super easy. I’m going into my fourth year of college, and I’ve used the this app app every semester. All my friends use it too. It does all the calculations for you and helps you figure out what you need on an assignment to get the course grade you want.

It also comes with a GPA Calculator which is super useful because it can get confusing trying to figure out this app you need to hit your target GPA. Really a life saver for me!!

I had a small problem with Grades and tapped the Contact Me button in Grades and emailed Seth. He responded within an hour and helped me resolve the problem right away - really great guy. Now that’s customer support!

It’s super easy to use and has a beautiful UI! Definitely a tool I recommend if you’re trying to improve in your academic career. Thank you for your amazing app, Seth!!!!

I really love Grades! It asks you what your target grade is in the course and shows you what you need on different assignments to get that target grade, which takes away all the calculations you’d have to do on your own. I used it for a semester without buying and then ended up buying premium and it’s been such a great help the semesters since. I also had a suggestion once and I emailed the developer and they actually responded so that was pretty cool.

Really great app! I just wish it would allow you to add extra credit onto your grade. For example, for one class, I earned 5 points of extra credit onto my average grade. Since there wasn’t an option to add extra credit, I had to make my “Target Grade” five points less to see what I needed to make on tests and the final exam. This worked alright for me, I just wish there was a simpler way to add extra credit. Love Grades though!

I’m in veterinary school and a lot of our 1 credit classes are pass/fail. There’s not an option to make classes p/f, which throws off the GPA Grades calculates for me. I also wish I could enter the points an assignment is out of ahead of time. It automatically puts things out of 100 until you enter your score. But I LOVE being able to see what I need on future exams to get __% for the class, and I did pay for premium so that I can group things. So like exams are 95% of my total grade, and you can group the exams together to keep it accurate.

I’ve been using Grades for awhile and it’s nice keeping track of my this app, especially for those professors that don’t really post your this app. I would like to see in the future however a way to change the grading scale, most of the classes I have to take don’t follow the traditional grading scale which messes with the GPA calculator, also want to see the GPA reflect based off the number of credits per class. One last thing I’d like to see is adding assignments to each category and have it average it all out in said category. Other than that I’m happy with Grades .

I use Grades a lot. It’s been very helpful for me to keep track of my individual this app and to know what my future this app need to be in order to get a certain overall grade in a course. However, just today after I updated Grades , I have not been able to open it. I tap on the icon and it “opens” for a second and then automatically closes and goes back to the homepage. Now I’m regretting having paid for it.

i am currently in nursing school. Grades has helped me be able to keep up with my this app for each individual subject. it lets you know your current GPA and even lets you set a target grade and informs you of what you need to make on upcoming assignments in order to adhere to your target grade. Grades is very easy to mange and understand and i would recommend Grades to anyone in college and most high school students as well. definitely worth it.

I am totally that person that checks the grade book several times a day and has to calculate a new grade every time a new assignment is in but with Grades it makes it so much easier! It helps me so much telling me what I have currently in the class and telling me what I would have to get on the rest of my assignments to reach my goal grade. I just Grades all the time I love it and I’m very excited to use the GPA tracker!!!

I absolutely love your app! I use it every semester and it has definitely saved me a lot of time; the only feature i wish you could add to it would be a way to calculate in bonus points. Also it does have a slight glitch where your syllabus items will disorganize themselves or sometimes duplicate in a particular class which can usually be fixed by closing and reopening Grades . Other than those things, i think your app is great and extremely beneficial to any college student.

It would stress me out to no end when I had teachers who are dewpoint systems and I would have to sit down and calculate a bunch of math just to try to figure out my grade was Grades really help me I was able to keep track of my this app as they happened and put my mind at ease knowing what percent I had to get on finals to get my target grade.

Wish you could add more than 4 classes. This looks like a decent app overall, but you can’t use it for all classes without paying. I’ll still be using Grades for subjects that I need to especially watch out for, but if you want to track freely and don’t have 9 dollars lying around, Grades is not for you. If you have the money, I think Grades would be really helpful :)

Has everything you need to keep track of your this app, GPA, and what you’ll need on your final exams to keep the grade you want. I sent in a request for there to be a way to sync across devices last semester (so I could put my this app in Grades either on my iPad or phone) and by the start of this semester he had added it! Support an independent developer and buy the full version!

Grades has been a life saver for me through both undergrad and grad school. Professors can be slow with putting in this app which is enough to drive any student crazy. Grades allows you keep track of all your assignments as you go and set reasonable goals for yourself throughout the semester. Love Grades!

I love Grades. As a student nurse it’s very challenging to keep up with with all the things that are thrown at you during the semester. this app are very important in nursing school and Grades really helps me keep track of my this app. I really love that it lets you know what score you need to get in order to achieve your target grade. I recommend it to all my classmates !

I usually don’t write reviews but Grades has saved my this app so many times. I use Grades every day to tell me what I have to get on my tests in order to maintain an A+ in all of my classes. Grades has helped me so much! It’s so easy to use too. I highly suggest you use Grades if you are looking for a grade calculator.
