WowCam — Enjoy Smart Life Software

I downloaded this app after bought the dophigo doorbell. I w so exciting that all my family could chat using this app like WeChat. Not only control my iCloud camera and doorbell. A+

It works great in my office. I needed a camera that wouldn’t record every time someone walked by as we have a lot of people walking on the sidewalk. This camera isn’t meant to be a security camera, but really a camera doorbell. My clients push the button and within 6 seconds (on a good network day) I get a video request that someone is at the door. I am able to chat with them fine. The device had different volume setting for the outdoor device. My current problem is that they upgraded the version and now it doesn’t instruct my clients to “please wait” once they push the ring button. 6 seconds or more feels like a long time waiting for someone to open the door. I’ve emailed the company about the new version that was updated on the device automatically but unfortunately they have not responded.

The crashes that other reviewers have mentioned seems to be fixed at least for me. The app generally works well and has the features that I was looking for. push notifications to my phone when motion is detected, being able to turn the light on /off, and talking through my phone to the speakers on the floodlight are all nice features that work well. The one complaint that I have is that about 60-70% of the motion activated camera recordings don’t work. It shows the thumbnail, date and time of the trigger but it won’t play back the video. I’m waiting on a memory card to come in which hopefully provides a more reliable backup.
