Movavi: Photo & Video Editor Reviews

You replied to my review once with a solution on how to get it on my other phone but I cannot find the reply or a solution now can you please tell me how to do it again.
I still do love Movavi even with the pick up time to time. I have a new phone now that I want to access it with. I love Movavi most of the time. However, there are times when I have a video on my phone and I try to load it into this app and create and edit this video. But when I go to play the video so that I could edit, the only thing I get is my voice no picture whatsoever just my voice. I don’t know how to fix that and it doesn’t do it all the time but it’s just very aggravating when it does it when you pay for the service. I understand technology has hiccups just like I do. Let me say again I like the software Movavi when it works like it’s supposed to and it’s well worth the money if it does it like it’s supposed to all the time. But I have another problem I lost the phone that I had forever license on in the river and now I need to transfer that license to my other phone can you help me with that please and thank you for letting me vent a little bit but otherwise it’s a great software. This has been a lifesaver for me! Rather a “project saver” when I’ve tried 5 different apps prior to this app and left me beyond stressed and frustrated. Movavi is easy to use, intuitive, good amount of music that’s royalty free and easy to share as well. I’ve used Movavi mainly with my iPhone when my kid is sleeping and I have to to finish a video montage project for my little ones preschool. The selection of format and quality is definitely enough to have that flexibility you need for sharing what you’ve created. Hope this quality performance & reliability continue. It’s alway sad to start with an app you love then it hits popularity and last thing you know it’s stops becoming consumer friendly. Stay true to quality this app!

I am not a professional but I have been using video software for the past 30 years. Ever since iPads came out in 2010, I have looked and looked and looked for exactly this kind of software. this blows away anything else I have ever seen. I have a collection of over 55,000 photos and 3000 videos and I can access all of them from the software extremely quickly and custom make any kind of a quick video that I want. There is no way to mince words on superiority of this product. this software will now allow me to create custom-made treasured memories. I cannot thank you enough for doing this. It is, as someone else said, a Final Cut Pro for the ipad

It turned out to be a really good app! Super easy editing and good quality. I really don’t have any complaints other than I wish there was more of music selection bc I don’t have any music on my phone to upload. I didn’t have much expectations going in to use it at first bc so many apps claim to be good and make you subscribe to use Movavi , only for Movavi to be a flop. This was pretty good stuff, easy to use, good selection of elements and frames. Everything you need is here. I’m gonna stay subscribed to Movavi lol

Movavi was incredible (as far as mobile editing) before the last update. The single worst thing they changed is how you add music. Before the update, it was almost flawless where you could start the music at the perfect time. Now all you can do is cut the music at the end of the video. We had so much freedom with the music compared to now. You are limited to starting the music at the beginning of the track instead of at the end of the track so that your music ended with your video. Almost flawless. Now, I am looking for something else to edit my videos on mobile. Why was the changed so drastically ????

I didn’t like the response I got for this review. If you really think that there is more freedom applying music than there was before then I am deleting Movavi. It is no good anymore. Great work making a great app sloppy.

Had this app for years and absolutely loved it. Subscribed to it. Bought it! And it worked really well. But as of late it crashes continuously where I can’t use it now. Sent a few tickets to report an issue and crickets! No support. No feedback. No fix! :(

When an update came I hoped it would resolve the issue, but no. Still crashes every time I upload a video or pic for editing.

I dislike leaving bad reviews and I really want to give 5stars but I can’t. I think 3 is a stretch given I can’t use the product due to crashes. So maybe, this app developers can fix the issue so that I can change the review.

I LOVE Movavi!!! It helps me make amazing videos, it’s really fun! I only have a few complaints. You have to pay to have the full experience, and to get rid of the word this app in YOUR video. And, I understand you guys need money, this is one way of how you make it. So, I understand that. Other than that though, I’ve got no complaints. Movavi is the best and it helps me so much with making my videos!!!! I’ve made 3 videos so far, I will update if anything happens. But for now, I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!!!

Super easy to assemble a simple video! The stickers available are fun to add. With no built-in instructions you end up experimenting some for adding text. Be careful in adding music if voice from the video clips are to be used as both volumes are controlled together and the music may make the voice garbled. Plus there is no way to delete a music selection, you can change the selection maybe having a mute selection solves this problem?

The this app trademark is seen on all videos, but three purchasing plans allow its removal - monthly purchases, yearly purchases, and permanent.

If I need a fast easy video, this will be considered for use with a this app trademark shown.

Did buy the subscription, which is really cheap! Pretty self explanatory and easy to use. I’m using it to put stickers on my videos, but it’s good for adjusting video speed, putting filters, and more. The only thing is, i wish the stickers were more available and that you could search through them. You can purchase them, but i’d rather not. There are free ones that work just fine though! One other thing is i wish you could crop the video frame in Movavi but you can just do that in your phone gallery anyways

I tried a bunch of other slide show and movie apps. This one is definitely user easier to manage its user friendly but still has the all the tools you need to make a good quality story whatever it may be. The best feature and a must have which is perfect they did this, is the ability to move single frames so you can rearrange pics easily. Other apps dont have that so its pretty frustrating till now.

I have an iPhone 7 and spent several hours clipping and editing and getting the music just right and all. Once ready to save it Movavi would say it was 1% complete with the save and then just crash. I opened it a dozen times and same ole story. So I decided to pay for a 1 month membership hoping that it would work then. Nope. So then of course the project was no longer there and available to even look at. All gone. Is there a limit to how long the video can be? I’m not very happy. Lost time and money. Nice. Up until trying to save it and upload it the features are actually nice and easy to use. But beyond that....? Any ideas or refunds?

I liked Movavi but there are a few things that need to be changed. First, I don’t like that I’m not able to start a new project without completing my first one. There are also some issues with the transitions because they cut off some of the video. In my case, it cut off some of my talking in my video. My last critique is that I think there should be more transition options and maybe add some borders for the screen. Overall, I did enjoy Movavi other then its few issues.

I’ve searched for many video editing apps. Most are way too complicated or filled with unnecessary features. Movavi makes it easy to put together photos and videos together to make one video. Editing is very easy too.

One down side is the photo motion is on by default. So if you’re importing a lot of photos you have to turn it off each photo. Not a deal breaker though since the rest of Movavi is wonderful.

This little editor does everything. Except I haven’t figured out how to take a section of my video out and save it as well as a separate clip. It may do it. I’ve only been playing with it since last night. I’ve pretty much figured it all out. It is very user friendly and not complicated like Video Pad, which is what I had been using. So yeah, I definitely recommend it.

I use it for EVERYTHING! And it is super affordable! I purchased the year membership and I love it. It is super easy to use. 100% recommended. I am one of those people who lean towards products with better reviews because as a small business owner customers satisfaction is my most important goal. That is why I always look at the reviews for apps or items and this is why I am writing this honest review.

This has been the easiest to learn and with a bunch of new features lately it’s totally worth paying the monthly fee. Just make sure you’re not getting double charged. I was charged once for my regular subscription but then again for a higher price of the same subscription? Anyways just double check in your Apple ID :) other than that it’s amazing!

I’ve used many video editing apps but nobody makes it as simple as this app. Some apps are so pro-focused that you have no idea how to use all of the functions, this app isn’t that way! Movavi shows you step by step what everything does. I bought the forever subscription as soon as it was available, I didn’t even have to think about it.

I love the quality of Movavi it makes great edits and fun videos and I would suggest it to anyone starting out in the edit community but you have to pay a very large fee for removal of watermark and the music options are pretty bad I think it would be better if the fee was cheaper and you had better options

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is I would love to have a cut and paste…instead you have to drag the clip to the desired location which takes more time. Also, I’ve used the desktop version which has way more features and I wish this did too, like backgrounds. But, other than that, really good for what it is and very user friendly.

I do really like it except when I add my photos I don’t like it when it moves I think it’s should be still and then you can chose when you want it to move because it aggravates me when I want to make a stop motion video and I have to go through over 100 photos at a time and make them still but other than that I’m really happy with Movavi and I totally recommend it 😁😁😁😁

I can’t say enough good things about this app’s Clip’s App. Usually when I get in editing app for photos, or Video, it’s always missing something but Movavi seems to have everything. Almost working on A desk version of Final Cut Pro but super easy to navigate!

There is a business version but I was emailing with the company and they said this version is better. So I use this for all my video business needs both for social and even short films. Whether you are a pro you will appreciate the tools or if you are a beginner you will enjoy how easy they are to use.

Hey creator of this app I really enjoy this but one with I noticed...I have just gotten this editor and I was editing one of my videos so I could upload and it glitched and there was an error I was at my last part of my slide which had taken a long time it scared me into a panic I hope you can fix it if I find anything else I’ll let you know but I would try to fix that it might have been on my end though

Movavi saved my life I searched and searched for hours and Movavi out stood all the other apps it’s easy very accessible and the best part most of everything is free you can add clips together and cut out parts you don’t want all for free all the other apps I tested couldn’t even do that Movavi is the best editing app out there!!

I love Movavi and it has almost been a year since I started editing with Movavi! I have gotten so many compliments by my editing skills and Movavi made me better! My friends wondered what this was and I made them download Movavi and try for themselves... I recommend this to anyone!!!!!! So awesome 🤗

It is extremely easy to cut a clip and add music, text, stickers, and transitions. I remember having 3 separate apps, before I got this app. Now it’s the only one I use. Also, because it’s so simple it makes it extremely fun. I can’t wait for all the updates to come. My friends and I love it, and I think you will too.

I love Movavi! I had the premium version of Movavi on my old phone, but I guess there isn’t any way for me to get the premium version on this phone without buying it again? This was always my go to editing app in any occasion! If there is any way to restore the premium features please let me know. Thank you!

Movavi seems nice, and maybe it’s just me but how are you supposed to add additional photos after you’ve started your project? I only have one chance to add all the videos I need? and I find it kind of strange that can’t I save my project temporarily on Movavi , then go back to it at a later time to edit it. I will have to edit the whole video in one go which can take hours? The edit options on Movavi are really nice but the other problems really stop me from being able to enjoy Movavi.

Movavi is good but needs a few adjustments.

I spent hours putting a video together which looks great on LinkedIn, however when I tried to post it to Instagram (and using the suggested layout for instagram) the text I added didn’t fit on the screen.

I also would like the ability to adjust music to start where I want-is this possible? I couldn’t figure it out.
