Powder - Gaming clips Reviews

OK, so I downloaded Powder about three days ago and decided to do some testing on it. So I did some screen recording of some mobile games that I generally play and went through the editing process (which is very user-friendly by the way) and was able to upload my video. But that is also where the problem comes in. Because of the fact that whenever you go to upload one video, finish it and do another one the second video you go to work on an upload the Apple tell you that there was something wrong and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and then reinstall Powder . This is honestly a huge pain to have to deal with over, and over again! So please, Fix this issue because I like Powder and it is a great tool to use. However, it is very much lacking in the sustainability department. So please fix this issue thank you.

I am super glad I found the this app app. I think of it as the TikTok for gaming. I don’t know much about the For You part of it. There are some things that I would like to see changed. I do not use it to edit, I like editing clips myself. But some of them I do edit with this app. I would like to see more games supported. Having it be available on more platforms, for example on the Mac. On the website it says that there is AI used, and I do not see where the AI is used. Now for some issues with it. It takes a long time too upload and there is a small community. With the good and the bad I still love Powder, it has work that needs to be down, but it is a great start. To the creators of Powder , amazing job. Thank you.

I’ve been using this for the past while now and it’s been very easy to use and honestly amazing. But I have been having some troubles with some issues that may not be a feature but or I could be missing something,Is there a way to pause your clip but had a time line still going what I mean by this it’s going to be paused but you can see that it will still be going and you could add sounds or affixed to it just might not be in effect but if itIs I’d like some background information on how to use it. Also if it is not I think it be nice if you added it be very good for amazing flips such as clips pausing in foreshadowing.

I think you should do easier ways to connect a device to another one to record it. For example, You are going to make a video on your Nintendo switch. It is kind of complicated to connect to Twitter because some people might not have Twitter. You should do it to the others that says Twitter. Maybe you can just connect by doing something on the setting with a device and with the other device. Maybe you can do Bluetooth to connect. I hope you got this message and I hope you will fix this to make it easier. I still like Powder . It is very fun to do the videos.

Powder is going to change how people experience their gameplay tans grow as a gamer if they could. The only thing I am waiting for on Powder is Modern Warfare. Currently I’m scrolling through Powder and see Fortnite and some GTA montages but I really can’t wait until the Modern Warfare option comes out and was wondering when that would happen? Unless all of you update Powder weekly or monthly I think I would be fine to wait, but in general it’s a good app to start your gaming experience and grow up to a Streamer or Youtuber. Powder is basically training wheels for you to become better and to be more inspired in what you could do.

Powder is AMAZING like you dont really need to pay for anything like those other ones! There is a lot to do in Powder like watch other peoples videos, make your own video, and more!!! i do have one thing tho. you see i make mistakes theres no back button to undo things so i think you guys should add undo buttons and be able to arrange clips! because i dont want to keep starting over again :) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Powder! they have amazing features and is really easy to use!!

I think since the latest update, whenever I post a clip, it disappears from my profile feed after a day posting it. There are some clips on my feed that are duplicates. When I try to delete a clip, I get an error, saying “Oops, something went wrong”. Pretty much I can’t delete the duplicate clips I have on my feed. Will give it a 5 stars till those issues are fixed

Update: Cool that they added the search feature to find other people’s profiles. I see that there’s another bug to where my clips don’t upload at the full duration they supposed to be. Also, I still can’t delete clips. Hopefully those issue will be fixed soon

It’s a 3 star for now. Great app but it’s got it flaws and hopefully the developer fixes what I’ve come across.

For one, while making a clip sometimes it’ll start playing a video in the background from your camera roll on a loop and the only way to stop it is to back all the way out and lose what you’ve done or finish what you’ve done. It’s extremely distracting, in fact it’s playing one right now as I’m writing this review.

Easy fix, make a save and edit later option.

I also personally have had zero luck uploading my music in my videos. It gives me the iTunes option but only gives me a fraction of my library to choose from and then it doesn’t actually use the song I choose. Not sure if it’s broken or just on my end?

Love the majority of the features and maybe I could have given it a 4 star but I feel like there were some other edit options unavailable on Powder that hopefully will be added in the future. Ex. Pause and extend of a section of the video for voiceover or other purposes.

Will change rating if these get fixed or added.

So with having a PS4 and not a lot of options for saving my videos to my camera roll Podwer offered a easy way to be able to download the vids I post to twitter and then download. I use Powder all the time and in the past has worked out great BUT I do have an issue recently where my saved videos audio gets screwed up and the audio is ahead of the video after downloading from this app and it’s something I haven’t been able to figure out. I still highly recommend Powder for any one who games and posts vids on a regular but please fix this issue. 3/5 great app but audio issue prevent a 5 star. Will update this review if fixed.

There are only two glitches witch are kind of annoying the first one if you add a transition it will glitch and goes black and you can’t watch a video and you have to restart from and the second glitch is if add a effect when you added music on it will not play the video or you can’t hear the music even though the two glitches I love Powder it’s pretty simple to use and there is no premium stuff like most apps would probably change you these types of futures Powder lot this such a great app for beginners I recommend Powder

I like Powder very much, but I think the user should be able to filter what goes on there Home Page. I also think the user should be able to crop clips. Finally there shouldn’t be week long challenges. Powder uses the challenges to filter what you see in a way but challenges shouldn’t last a week. Maybe the developers should let you go into a challenge(of any game)page and look at clips from that game only.

I just started streaming on twitch directly from my ps5 and I linked Powder to my twitch and selected my VODs expecting for Powder the highlight and clip all my kills but instead only clipped a couple and mostly nonsense and more deaths than anything. I don’t have a computer or any editing/clipping software other than iMovie on my phone. Hopefully the developers can figure out a way to scrub through VODS and clipping kills at the right time. Powder has potential to be really useful to small twitch streamers like me. Please figure this out, I would love Powder and would be 5 stars if they could fix this.

From my experience Powder is amazing for editing. They make it so easy to download clips straight from whatever platform, or device. However, I have encountered one minor inconvenience. I wouldn’t go as far as to call this a problem as it hasn’t seemed to bother anyone else, it’s just annoying. This minor inconvenience is the water mark. The water mark is too large, especially for mobile and smaller screens. I haven’t heard of any way to remove this water mark, and if there is please make it easier to find this customization! Other than that Powder is just great!

1. Save/Edit later option cause i hate restarting from scratch while i have to wait for it to process and accidentally leave Powder .
2. The video quality is much worse when it’s being edited and after After i looked in my camera roll to see how it turned out I loved my edits but not my quality it doesn’t promise a nice picture it turned out worse.

I hope the developer sees this and fix this issue because i know a lot of ppl here had the same problem but overall Powder is really good.

When i got this I thought it’s just another editing app but it wasn’t this app is more then just a editing app it’s a app feeling with so many options and a feed to post your best clips and more.

Powder shines will so many different colors and has the best way to edit truly this is the best app to edit your gaming clips and more it simple , fun , and has so many options to choose from.

If you need to edit a clips anytime anywhere you need to get this app.

This is the absolute worst app I have ever used. First off, the overlay effect cannot be edited to be shrunk or moved. Second, you can only edit one project at a time or else it gets deleted. Lastly, it is impossible to export or save a project without Powder crashing. I have completed a project that took hours to make but because Powder would crash every time I tried to export, it was gone. Then for my second point. Every single one of these reviews are fake (except for mine of course). Any review saying that this is an “amazing app” is fake. I highly recommend NOT downloading Powder or trying to use it. No joke, Powder has literally crashed my whole phone. DONT TRY THIS.

I over all love Powder to edit clips and post them, but there is one problem that keeps happening when I try to post a video, I’ll get all the edits right and it’s perfect so of course I hit the publish button, it gets to 99% and then says it didn’t publish bc it detected non gaming content in my gaming content, so I’m asking if you guys could fix that pls
And also the quality on your filters need some work so pls update

Well, the this app is a perfect app. It's served me very well, and it's and very genuine, and I've been here for its build-up and beta testing. I would recommend Powder over any other main based gaming community app where you can scroll through other gamers with incredible skill and also good advice and on the discord server is very excellent and a lot of very cool creators and just people to talk and vibe with it's just a whole chill experience and enjoying my time in it.

Ok I love Powder it allows to to connect you clips from ps4,xbox,pc,mobile,and more. It made me so happy and i learned to edit videos in Powder. It’s also like and instagram,where you can post your vids and subscribe to the people you like. You can also make links to instagram,Snapchat,twitch,youtube,and tik tok!!! They give you a special gift if you log in daily for 30 days in a row. They have a discord so go join that! I love Powder and worth buying!!!!!!!!!

I really love Powder mainly because of the amazing community! I am good friends with the biggest creator on here and I have made many of my montages look nice here! You guys make it so easy to make good content with your discord support staff! As well as I can’t get over just how much time you put into talking to your community and trying to help them as much as possible! I can’t even explain how nice Powder is! Amazing job and I can’t wait to make my next video with you guys!

Best app hands down makes life easier by bringing my edits with me I can put a few clips together on the go and post it to social media without having to carry around a laptop. Great supportive community everytime I post my clips within Powder people show so much love it's unbelievable. I would higky recommend try Powder out before anything else and you wont regret it keep it up developers thank you for everything love what you have here.

This is app is amazing for mobile editing if your clips are from PS4, Xbox, Nintendo, or even your camera role, Powder is really easy to use, and in it you have a profile and can gain subscribers to get #1 on the this app leaderboard! All-in-all, it’s a great app, really recommend for people who can only edit on their phones and are new to editing, also, as of writing this, No ads anywhere in Powder !

Very cool app! I love that you can import straight from any platform with clips! The effects are good, the sfx and music is also pretty good. The only thing I would want changed is the ability to import more than one clip from xbl at once to make montages without having to save the clip to my phone. Other than that, great job! 9.5/10 would recommend!

Amazing editing software!! I’ve been using it for a while and I love it so far. The best part is the amount of visual and sound effects inside Powder that you can use for free! It also features a amazing feed where you can post edits you made inside Powder ! I can’t wait to see how far it goes. Keep up the amazing work!

To start off I love Powder because it it’s an actual app you can edit on your phone with and I’ve been looking forward for one of these apps to come out and I just love the design and the community it’s amazing I want to see Powder glow up be the best it can be for the gaming community.

Powder has helped me much! It has changed editing clips/videos for me. I will NEVER EVER switch to a different app. That is how much Powder has helped me. I never knew how easy it was to edit a clip/video until a couple months ago when I joined. I am so glad I tried out this app from an Instagram ad. THANKS this app CREATORS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO TO MAKE Powder BETTER.

I’m pretty sure I’ll love Powder if ONLY it’ll let me sign up! I put in the right phone number, closed then reopened Powder , I even DELETED THE WHOLE THING and re-installed just to find out that it still doesn’t work I’ll start using Powder the next update and I really think you guys should fix this just for some advice from me maybe even add a way to sign up through email just please fix this, I understand that this is a new app and all but this is just a little too much.

I remember when somebody messaged me saying do you want to edit your clips and make my clips even cooler so I said ok. Then I got on discord and accept the invite then I became a actual member and got the early and buggy release of this app. But now this app is growing and growing!!! Can’t wait to become famous(Maybe)

i've been looking for a free to use editor for some of my clips and Powder is really really easy to use, there are a lot of templates that you can use and you can even upload your own music/media from the web! Awesome and easy to use👍🏼

Easy to use by far one of my favorite editing apps I used this to post on clutch 🤷🏾‍♂️ the Infamous JuLoading‼️🤍 love Powder sm, doesn’t leave a single watermark easy to use has perfect timing and they’re still developing ways to make it easy love how my quality of videos is!!

Powder is so clean and easy to use that I enjoy opening it up everyday to either watch or upload content , would definitely recommend that you give it a try

I love Powder . It’s amazing, but there’s some problems. When I post a video or save it the music doesn’t come with it. Plus I wish there was a way to take out the noise of my clips. This is also a new app. That’s just some stuff y’all need to update in the future. I see a lot of potential in Powder.

I love Powder cause it has such a good community that I like to call a family. Like 9.9/10 of us treat each other like we are brothers and sisters and this is just amazing I love it the creators did an amazing job. There’s still some room to upgrade.❤️

Great app to work with when I am editing my videos,but there is one small problem. Whenever I want to edit a video that is at least longer than 1:30, the resolution of the vid drops. You are able to see some pixelated things in the video.(Plz fix this)
